This is my first through-the-door ice and water dispenser and I like it that there is a water filter built-in. The refrigerator compartment was set to 37 degrees by default, but that freezes water is some areas. I needed to bump it up to 39 degrees to avoid that. The control is a little confusing to operate until you get used to it. The manual is not clear about the details. The compartments on the door are deep enough to store plenty of drinks. It is very quiet. It would be nice to have a little more space allocated to the refrigerator instead of the freezer.

The first delivery team barely looked before saying I needed a contractor to come out first. Second delivery team was awesome and worked hard to make it right. Scheduling was crazy: showed up twice four hours early, luckily I was home. Another time they called on their way, hadn’t informed me of appointment and I wasn’t home. The last tune an hour early, I wasn’t gone so they came later. Scheduling needs work!

I love the ice maker being on the inside door freeing up shelf space in the freezer. Water and ice dispenser even better than expected. Counter depth is a real game changer! Very happy!

It’s rather big to deliver in a tight hallway but otherwise works great. Space is huge. Ice dispenser seems to produce ice fast but never try to time it or take care of many people at once. The only down side of this refrigerator is the doors don’t close by itself. So, need to make sure the doors are close.

Plastic parts

Literally plastic parts broke off and were served. Warranty is only 12 Months for anything other the compressor. Looks like some of the ice grinding parts are made of plastic. Also if you intend to buy check out the drawers or lack of drawers. I did not notice until we got it but only two bottom drawers nothing in the middle

The temperatures seem inconsistent at times. I will have the fridge set at 37 degrees and the thermometer will show 33 degrees at various points when the fridge has been closed for 1 hour. The same test will reveal 41 degrees or so an hour later. The freezer is on the small side, don't expect to put things like frozen pizza in there. The depth and design are excellent, though.

Looks great, has plenty of room inside to store food, and is easy to setup. The smart feature (compatible with Samsung SmartThings) allows you to see and set the temperature from your phone and get notifications about the door being left open (there is also an audible alarm from the fridge itself if you leave it open). Within the Samsung SmartThings app there is also a place to manually record the expiration dates of food you place in the fridge. I haven't used this feature yet but I believe it would send you a notification if food is about to expire.
