Frustrating water pitcher
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really do like this refrigerator, there are so many outstanding features like the flex space, 2 different sizes of ice cubes, the ways the bins are arranged so that you don’t have to open both doors. It’s also easy to keep clean and fits nicely into a smaller kitchen. With all of the positives come the one huge problem for me, the water pitcher. It was the one thing I really wanted. Sometimes it works and refills and sometimes it doesn’t. It’s very frustrating. I have looked at the troubleshooting info, done what it said, it will work perfectly for a week or two, and then it won’t. This would be a 5 star fridge except for that.

Samsung lawsuits over ice maker issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought this fridge three years ago with the Bestbuy extended warranty. We love the fridge and the design. However we have had the ice maker go out twice. Luckily Bestbuy was great about fulfilling the warranty but I have since learned that there is a huge issue with Samsung refrigerators. There is even a Facebook group that deals with a class action lawsuit. Although the fridge is working fine right now that we got it fixed I fear the problems down the road. Do your research before you buy. Bosch came in highly rated. Not sure why Bestbuy would still be selling these with all the problems they seem to have.

I after a couple weeks I realized it tastes like how the fridge smells. Turned off the uv deodorizer and haven’t had the issue since. Haven’t found any information on why the deodorizer would be emitting a smell that effects the water taste.
