I have only had this fridge for about three weeks but it seems to be adaquate for my needs. There are some things that could make it better like, more options for shelf placement and a quieter motor however so far it seems like a good functional fridge. The ice and water dispenser have been working as they should with no problems and it's been keeping everything cold or frozen as is its purpose. I wouldn't recommend this for a large family especially with the very limited shelf options. All in all this refrigerator seems to be a good quality functional unit for the price point. My last whirlpool lasted for 14 years, I hope and have my fingers crossed that this one will come close to matching that. Good luck

It does what it's supposed to, however, really would've liked better lighting for the ice and water - It's pretty much a guess where the buttons are

Spacious fridge. Had it for couple months - seems like a good product for the time being. Lots of bad reviews about it going bad within couple months to a yr - hopefully that's not the case!

This is a great fridge, but don’t think you are going to easily get a drink of water at night, there is no light on the ice/water dispenser. Other than that, it’s a great fridge!

Samsung makes great products!!! This is another durable great product that they make.

This is a great refrigerator for the price it’s very spacious and the quality is very good it would’ve been 5 starts but it does make a small noise but nothing really loud tho.

Good Fridge, at first it made a loud noise when it was cooling itself off but that seems to have gone away. Maybe it was off balance. Haven’t had any other problems with it

I’m very happy with my purchase. I bought this for a guest house and was therefore not looking for anything too fancy or expensive. This was a great buy and actually is better than I thought it would be. Would definitely recommend!

This fridge can fit alot of food and has a massive ice maker! Looks great as well.

Old fridge died and Best Buy had this one at a good price and in stock for immediate pick up. Works great and makes ice better than any other fridge I’ve owned before. It even has a light up feature to let you know when to replace the filter!

When my refrigerator died I did a "post mortem" on it and found that the compressor had seized. But I was able to get it to work again by directing a small fan at the compressor. In my old refrigerator the compressor was located in a closed space with sound insulation to keep the noise to a minimum. That was good for sound suppression..but bad for compressor life. I decided to add a compressor cooling fan to the next refrigerator I purchased to make it last longer. To my surprise this Samsung already had one unlike most other comparable refrigerators I looked at. Yes..that makes it slightly noisier than the Kenmore it replaced. But the extended life makes it easy to get used to that small difference.

This is working okay. It’s solid machine for the price you pay for. I took off one star because it makes a lot of noise. You can easily hear it in a quiet environment.

This was a 10 year upgrade. I don't really care for stainless steel but this black version is amazing! My only con is that there is not a light on the ice/water dispenser.

We purchased this refrigerator for a second home condo we have and although we had a defrost issue with the first one purchased within a couple of weeks they replaced it with a new one and this one has worked perfectly so far. We had limited space so could not use the french door type refrigerator of choice so decided to go back to the side by side. It functions well as a side by side but whenever we have the option we always love the french door style refrigerators with the pull out freezer drawer on bottom but this one functions well for the space.

We only had a refrigerator for about a month but so far it's working fine. Ice maker is kind of loud and slow. Fridge cools the foods really well and I love the spaciousness. Would recommend!

Great fridge at a great price. Its bigger and better than my last refrigerator.
