I absolutely love my new fridge. The lighting is great the storage is great. The ice and water are wonderful. The freezer is plenty big enough. The only flaw is the finger prints are hard to get off. But I new that when I bought stainless. Every stainless appliance will get fingerprints on it. You just have to learn how to clean it. And the ice is loud when coming out cause it's ice it's not going to be quite. Lol . I love love love it!

I love my refrigerator. I've had it for 6 months now. I'm so happy with the price and quality. I like I can customize the inside to make room for bigger items.

I purchased this 14 months ago. It looks great but thats where the pros end. It Is loud and the shelves don't adjust to much. Now that the factory warranty is up. the compressor Is very loud and on its way out. The fans are not working. The repair man said its not worth fixing. I am getting no where with Samsung. Too bad, usually Samsung stands by there products. They wont even answer my emails

Our Samsung refrigerator's freon leaked right near the end of the warranty. We called Samsung to come out and repair the fridge. They sent a tech, who told them that the issue could not be repaired. We followed up with Samsung for a refund, and have been jumping through f-ing hoops for the last 6 weeks. They love to change your information in their system at whim, so good luck with any kind of paper trail. Ticket numbers? Nope. They change those without telling you. We are completely dumbfounded by how such a large corporation could be so unresponsive and irresponsible. Oh, wait. Now, I get why their phones were exploding.

This fridge freezes up every few months and this is 2015 people! My old Kenmore is running strong in the garage and is 15 years old. There should be a recall on these units. Tons of videos of Youtube. Wasting food and hours of time. I will never buy a Samsung again. Countless service calls resulted in nothing but "use your hairdryer on it". What?? Really?? This was not an inexpensive unit and they should be held accountable.

Love it, only gave it a 4 though because some decorative magnets I had on the front rubbed off the finish where they sat. Obviously if a sitting magnet can cause damage, I'm afraid I will have other scratches soon from daily use.

All the door bins broke after the first few months of use and I just opted to not replace them when I found out how pricey they were. Then the ice maker stopped working after about a year and half of use. Then we started noticing water pooling under the “cool select pantry” drawer. Suffice to say my next fridge will not be a Samsung.

We purchased this as an upgrade to our old side by side, and were very impressed. The ice maker seems small, but makes so quickly you don't lose anything, even at parties / get-togethers.

The frig and freezer are fine after 8 months however the ice maker is terrible! It freezes atleast 3 times a month! When this happened you have to remove the tray and scrap the ice off of the ice shoot. I scrape my knuckles up every time I have to do this! If you dont get the tray set back in properly, it will only give you crushed ice. I have also experienced the tray being frozen to the ice maker making it difficult to remove the already difficult tray. This problem, along with no available repair men that will work on samsung in the area will keep me from ever buying another samsung appliance again! If you use the ice daily as I do, stay away from this stupid frig.

Not impressed with this refrigerator. It keeps food fresh and frozen, as it is supposed to do. Didn't expect to take a step back from my 17 yr old GE fridge, which had self closing doors and was, after all these years, not as noisy!

I was looking for a new refrigerator for some time and this seemed to be best of all worlds - product, price and service. The unit itself is beautifully designed and has enough space to allow me to not only replace my old fridge but also a freezer as well. The delivery was spotless. They were in and out in good time. No fuss, no muss and certainly no bother. The new fridge is what I have come to expect from Samsung. The service getting it there is what I have come to expect from Best Buy. Both are all I could hope for and more.

I bought the Samsung RF263BEAESR refrigerator on March 2, 2019, expecting a high-quality and durable appliance. Now, in March 2025, I am beyond frustrated with ongoing issues. The ice maker constantly freezes over, leaks, or stops working. I have to manually defrost it just to get temporary functionality. The freezer also fails to maintain a consistent temperature, leading to food thawing unexpectedly and risking spoilage. For an expensive fridge, this is unacceptable. Samsung’s warranty support has been a nightmare. Even though these problems are well-known, they refuse to fully cover repairs, leaving me to pay a significant amount. At this point, I might as well buy a new fridge from a different brand that is actually reliable. Their customer support is just as bad. The chat support took over three hours to fulfill a simple request, adding even more frustration to an already disappointing experience. Instead of real solutions, they push costly repairs that do not guarantee a permanent fix. I regret this purchase and strongly advise against buying this fridge or any Samsung appliance. If you want reliability and good customer service, look elsewhere.

This is a well thought out refrigerator. Very spacious. As I have young grandchildren I love the alarm system on the door.

We have owned this refrigerator for 18 months. It stopped cooling a week ago. Of course we had just bought groceries so we were out all that money. I called Samsung and they sent someone out after 3 days. The guy says it's the compressor wire harness. He says the wires are switched which causes the compressor to run in reverse and that is now causing it to lock up. He says this is a known problem with this refrigerator. Of course it is not covered under the compressor warranty so we are out at least $200 plus all the groceries we lost. It's extra awesome because we are two weeks from Christmas and one week from my daughter's birthday. Never again will I purchase a Samsung product.

This refrigerator looks nice, has shelves that are flexible, and is working fun. Except for the ice maker. It's slow no matter what, and ours froze solid where it took us two weeks for Samsung to come out and tell us it was frozen solid (there's no obvious button to open, we just knew we couldn't), and the solution on a one month old office frig was unplug it over the weekend, clean up water, turn on for a day to reset, and then now we have to empty the ice bin every week. From what I saw after day one earlier this week, we'll probably have to empty every day, there was always water forming and freezing starting. Bad design flaw, so frustrating!

I would go with less than one star if it was offered. I Purchased this unit in 2012 and has had four service calls on major issues in 3 years of ownership. The last one is quoted at over $800. The company does not stand behind this "Lemon" which should not be offered to the consumers in the first place and their attitude is basically "you should have purchased an extended warranty so tough luck". I am throwing it away and taking my chances with a new brand. Fred

RF263BEAESR worse refrigerator ever purchased purchased it 2/13 started having problems with the ice maker 11/15 out of warranty had service 3 times never did get it working correctly. An about to purchase a new refrigerator because already $900.00 for repairs and I'm done with Samsung.

Best Buy delivered the fridge. The guy measured the door opening then the refrigerator. He said that it would fit but I could see them squeezing it in through the opening. Thankfully they left the protected plastic on it. I moved the unit to the kitchen then plugged it in. I could hear it start up and the interior light lights came on but the display on the front of the fridge was displaying (13 E) and no way to clear it. Samsung said it was a heater problem and to contact the seller since it was new. Called Best Buy the next day 8/20/2014 but said they could not deliver another fridge until 9/2/14. This is unacceptable as I now have no fridge and the manager at Best Buy didn't care. This is that last product I will ever buy from Best Buy
