If you don’t want to waste your $, don’t buy. All negative reviews are honest. In the first 3 months I had Samsung service men out 4 times due to ice maker and freezer frosting up and leaking. They replaced seal, ice bucket to no avail. Problem still exists 2 years later-I have to DEFROST both freezer and ice maker Every 5-8 Days with a hair dryer! Who knew at 70 years old I’d have to do something I did in my first apartment 50 years ago!! BTW/Best Buy was unhelpful in those 1st 3 months after Initially purchasing. Love to see a lawsuit.

i bought this refrigerator 8 months ago. its been a month now that the water dispenser and ice maker are broken. if you try to get ice its like a train moving in your house. I had bought the warranty and best buy its taking its sweet time to send someone to fix it. When i called them they said this is a known issue for the brand and type of refrigerator, funny how no sales person mentions this when you go to buy .

I switched from a side by side, and love it! So much room and much easier to stay organized. No more discovering mystery food.

It has done this since the first day it was delivered and Samsung won't repair, exchange or let me return it. Technicians came out 3 times already and everyone says this is the normal loud noise that Samsung refrigerators make. Think carefully whether you want to risk loud buzzing noises echoing into all the rooms of your house every single day of your life. Don't buy Samsung!

My wife and myself were looking for new appliances for the home we purchased and we feel in love with the black stainless collection from Samsung.

Horrible fridge to say the least. I have to say, it works perfect except for the loud boom and pop noises which i discovered on Consumer Affairs page that many, many people experience this and it has the lowest rating possible. My question is, if Samsung knows about this issue, why haven't they fixed it? I really cant go on with this waking me up in the middle of the night.

We purchased our Samsung French Door Refrigerator in 2017 - All was well with it & we were happy with the purchase until several months ago when the ice maker quit dispensing ice. Super annoying because we paid extra to have the external ice dispenser. Now we're having problems with the freezer - I would not recommend this brand to anyone. It replaced a Whirlpool that was nearly 20 years old that was still working just fine - because I wanted a French door design. I would gladly take my old Whirlpool back!

The fridge is nice looking but not a good use of space. That said, my major problem is the icemaker. There is a class action suit against Samsung concerning the French door icemakers. They leak, they make weird noises, they freeze up and quit working altogether. They have known about this problem since 2015 and still don't have a solution to this problem or a least won't give you a permanent solution to the problem. I have had a repairman out several times and have even replaced it and still the same problem. Bad design and I recommend not purchasing unless you want to have to use a hairdryer to defrost it every few weeks or turn off your fridge for 24 hrs to completely defrost every few months. I don't even use my icemaker any more because it's easier to just freeze ice trays. My recommendation is DO NOT BUY and to look at icemaker problems and read the hundreds of complaints on this product.

Bought this refrig in 2015 with a 5 year Geek Squad warranty. The ice maker would continually frost over and the defrost would freeze over, producing water in the crisper and bottom of the refrig. The Geek Squad did a good job repair and replace parts (they were great), but after 6 months, the condition would re-occur. After the 3rd repair visit, the Geek Squad declared this unit a 'lemon' and offer me an exchange for a new unit. I purchased a new LG refrig and am now extremely happy!

Look, I've had this fridge for about a year and a half... And its already have massive issues I could maybe expect from a fridge thats 30 years old... It freezes up every few months and cant stay cold to save it's life.. the Ice maker freezes up after about a week or so.. total waste of money. this piece of garbage should be an embarrassment to Samsung. I have no issues with my other appliances I got from them... But the fridge is an absolute piece of garbage!

I would never buy Samsung products again. Expect to get 5-6 years out of them and that’s it! The ice maker is a huge disaster. What a waste of money. The stove is not much better. Now I have to change my entire appliance package.

The quick summary is this: Ice maker is horrible. It is poorly designed. Have to scrape it out at least once a week. Had it almost 3 years...just sick of it. Rest of the stuff...pretty much what I would expect from a refrigerator. Not worth the price tag it had. There is currently a class action lawsuit on these products, not just this model. If a reviewer has a 5 star, I would question it, or they just got lucky and got one that worked. Just google samsung class action lawsuit, DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR.

My husband and I bought this fridge two years ago. For the first year it was great, until the ice maker froze over. At first we would clean up the ice and everything would be fine but it became worse. Now at two years we cannot use the ice maker at all. After looking up how to fix it I found several videos and reviews stating this is a common issue. I wish I had done my research before purchasing but with the holiday deal I made a hasty decision.

I got it in sale so it made for a better value. Have had great experience with Samsung so hopefully it continues.

I love this refrigerator. Very modern and sophisticated look!

The refrig has no power at all after 3 months. I understood sometimes we get bad luck, I will still be satisfied if Samsung can take care of it in a good customer service. However, their customer service is terribly. Samsung outsources their repair service and it took at least 5 days to be able to schedule technician to come. Then at the scheduled date, they said they were waiting for the parts, so we need to reschedule...that's another 5 days later. I called Samsung if they can help to speed it up since it is very difficult for us not having refrig for such a long time. Samsung said they are only manufacturer. There is NOT THING they can do. Finally, technician came and he said he cannot fix it. After another week, Samsung finally arranged Bestbuy to exchange a new unit. Totally took 3 weeks to get it done.

I love this fridge and the price was even better!! The added drawer is perfect for my lunch meat and cheeses!

This fridge is awful. We have had it for 3 years and nothing but trouble. The water barely comes out (it comes out at the speed the manual says it should and it’s soooo slow). The ice machine freezes so much and needs to be defrosted so often we don’t use it anymore. The freezer barely freezes. It just sucks.

First of all. I was a big fan of samsung products before i purchased this refrigerator. It makes very very loud popping noise. I live in about 2500 sqft two story house. I hear that noise from everywhere in my house. it sounds like a gun shot. I will never buy samsung again,

When first purchased I thought it was a great fridge, only a few years old and already need to replace. The water that is dispensed after one cup is not cold. The ice maker would jam up occasionally and we would have to ice pick and remove built up ice. It now freezes everything in the refrigerator. I have had multiple problems with our Samsung appliances.
