    Died at 15 months

    Purchased this refrigerator in Nov 2018. Now at 15 months old, it no longer cools. Apparently the refrigerant has completely leaked out. While it was working, it did perform well. My only complaint was how touchy the retractable shelf was. No that's past warranty, I am using the extending warranty to hopefully get it fixed. I say that because the third party that performs the repairs can't get here for another 10 days. Bottom line I bought this for one purpose, to keep my food cold. It has failed at that.

    Samsung ... WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU!!!

    I am ... WAS ... a mass supporter of Samsung products but something has happened to them. I spent a bit more on my refrigerator but it died almost immediately, took months to get fixed (I should have gone through Best Buy but trusted Samsung), and then its software was flashed in November with a bad flash and ... now it resets every 20 minutes! Samsung says "call a repairperson and you pay"! It is definitely the flash but they refuse to do anything including allow me to manually re-flash it! The refrigerator "works" but not all functions. Samsung ... what happened to customer service?

    Three repairs in a month

    I've had to have three repairs on my two year old refrigerator in the last month. First the ice maker stopped working resulting in a $400 repair. Three weeks later everything in the center of the refrigerator froze, followed by the sensor going out, requiring another $150 repair. That fix lasted a week before the sensor went out again. Another $150, not PLUS time off of work and all the food we had to throw out. This has been a major disappointment.

    Poor finish purchased 3/2017

    The black stainless steel scratches so easily. Very disappointed. We bought all four appliances ( fridge, stove, microwave & dishwasher) 3/17 & the refrigerator doors are very scratched I don't know if the film on the doors are defective the other appliances are fine tried to reach out to Samsung and was told cosmetic damage is not covered I can tell u it's not cosmetic it's defective...Just purchased these appliances in March it's early September......very unhappy with the black stainless steel should have gotten the stainless steel instead :(

    Model#RFG297HDWP Samsung freezer door handle is plastic and broke off. Part no honger available. This is a 2011 model. Maria (Samsung executive #5441669) on ticket 1142716134 says I must buy a new fridge as this part is no longer in production or available. If you want a fridge more that 10 years do not buy Samsung. This is a obvious flaw or parts would still be available. DO NOT BUY SAMAUNG REFRIGERATOR'S. SCOTT MCDONALD

    The icemaker quit in 2018. Searches indicate this to be a consistent fault. Repair cost would have been $1200 and it would have likely failed within 4 years as they did not come up with a better replacement. The internal temp of the Refridgerator is inconsistent. Liquid items in the back will freeze.

    Great Looking Junk

    I've had Samsung dual ice maker refrigerator for 6 years. Ice maker #1 blew out after 2 years, water puddles under crisper drawers, now water on kitchen floor couple times a week and lower ice maker called it quits. Samsung is great looking junk. Never had a problem with my 20 year old Whirlpool, other than it was white and antiquated. Forget the folks who review after 1 week of ownership.

    Bought it because it looked great and seemed like a good product. Got it delivered hooked up water and such let it begin to cool. Was going okay for 3 or 4 hours then just died.Started flashing 81E the end Samsung said they'd send someone out to repair...on day one NO THANKS Best Buy was great about replacing it. With a different brand

    I am on year 4 with this fridge and I have had the ice maker worked on 4 times and now the whole system crashed and wont cool in the fridge or freezer. Samsung is terrible to work with in a warranty sense. nothing but trouble with this unit. Plan to replace this unit as soon as financially possible

    I had this for 8 months now and this refrigerator had been making loud humming noise from the second week of purchase. Samsung is working on sending technicians and getting it fixed.
