We have had nothing but problems with the icemaker freezing up and needing to be dethawed. Had the Geek Squad warranty, they had to come out once per year to fix icemaker, the final time they replaced it. That was at the 2.5 year mark. Not long after the 3 year warranty ran out, the icemaker again stopped working. It now has a huge buildup of ice that we can't defrost enough to get it to go away. Problem is worse now than it has ever been. Seriously regret buying this refrigerator. Repair man said Samsung ice makers are notorious for this. Haven't been able to get ice out of this fridge for almost a year now.

Not a fan, yet I love Samsung

And when closing them there's a method to the madness or they don't close properly or all the way. The ice maker is constantly freezing up and causing ice to stop making.
