I ordered this, waited 2 months for it to finally get delivered. Apparently this is a special order from Samsung directly and it was a pain!

No light on the door panel so even a year later I still have to keep guessing where the water is verses the ice? Seriously has anyone heard of a back light or maybe not making the panel picyj black with black writing so noone can read it.. lets not even mention how useless this store is at helping with problems !!!

Freedom door is hard to shut sometimes but otherwise pretty good fridge. The drawers in the freezer make for easy organizing.

No I would not recommend because I have no experience with it.

Had this fridge for three years now and so far had to replace the ice maker and now it won’t cool or freeze. Replaced the motherboard and fan then two days later it breaks down again.

The refrigerator door sticks out further than that freezer door on the top. when they brought us a new one that one was the opposite and was also damaged so we sent that one back and are currently waiting for another one.

I returned this refrigerator after 1 week due to faulty door latch on the outer door. The produce drawers also had no tracks for easy sliding and felt cheap and poorly constructed. I was surprised by the positive rating but maybe i just got a defective model, which it was. I exchanged it for an LG side by side and am very pleased with this refrigerator.

It's been a month since purchase yet I still do not have. Best Buy attempted to deliver a fridge with a major dent across the entire front. Still waiting for delivery of what I have paid for. I guess Best Buy expects customers to accept damaged goods. I have not heard a word about when I will receive. Very unhappy with Best Buy. Huge mistake to purchase something as expensive as a refrigerator from Best Buy. My rating is for Best Buy. I can't rate a product I never received. Can't believe Best Buy asked me to rate a product that they never got to me!

The first unit we received had a handle malfunction that may have been the fault of the Best Buy installation. Rather than repair it Best Buy elected to replace it. Which was fine. But the second unit never got cold... Not good for a refrigerator. Samsung wouldn't repair it without charging us. And Best Buy could send a repair to us for a week (a week of our food at a neighbors house and in ice coolers. So we sent to back and now own an LG side by side that has worked perfectly.

Ordering and delivery was easy and without issues through Best Buy. Unfortunately, after plugging in and waiting a few hours, only the fridge section worked, while the freezer remained at a rather unchilly 80 degrees F :( Given issues in the past with Samsung, I chose not to try my luck with another. The return process was easy as well.

Refridgerator stopped working and Samsung and their "Authorized Repair Facilities" have been Redicuously Hard to Deal With. Its not what I was expecting from a Large Corporation like Samsung. Warranty is USELESS!!

Overall we like the unit but it does have a few issues. The styling and general design is good with ample shelving and overall space. Price was also good. The door in door feature was the reason we purchased this unit but the area that functions as the door in door storage struggles to keep temperature. We are talking to the geek squad and they are checking this and I will amend the review if there is a significant improvement. The unit is set at its lowest setting and the door in door area stays at a consistent 40 which is barely out of danger zone temps. As it is designed to store milk etc. this can be a bit of an issue. But the main compartment and the freezer stay at temp and recover quickly. The SS front is a bit sensitive and shows scratches easily and smudges (cleans up with a damp micro fiber cloth fast). Drawers area bit lower quality than I expected. The water/Ice function takes a bit of getting used too but works very well. Pros: Nice styling Pricing Good recovery of temps Storage space Good ice storage and output Quiet too Cons: Temp of door in door area (to be continued) Drawers a bit low quality SS front sensitive to smudges and scratches

Door within the door (showcase) have latching issues. Door does not click when closed, therefore sometimes when opening the door opens only the showcase or not when it wants too.

Arrived defective and the alarm beeped for a week!
