Great refrigerator. SLIM and with good capacity, food shocase is really good

Bought the slightly larger version of this fridge a little over two years ago and thought now we be a good time to write a review. No issues! The LED lighting does a great job in lighting the interior because of their multiple locations. Good shelf flexibility for multiple layouts. Freezer capacity and shelf size are functional. Reasonably quite though there are varying sounds that emanate depending on what mode its in (they all do). All the outer door functions work well. The only thing I would improve on is the ice making capacity. It's a little slow if you need a lot of ice. It's the first time I haven't gone with a domestic brand but not skeptical any more. I'm very happy with this fridge!

I will never purchase the Samsung brand again. The refrigerator was bought with the gas stove and microwave bundle. Microwave quit within a year and wasn't with the repair. Cheap plastic. Drawer has cracked twice. Now ice maker has quit. Not even 5 years old. Extremely disappointing

Well I received my new black stainless Samsung 6 days ago and so far I have not been impressed. Delivery was great, guys were nice and setup was fine. Compressor finally kicked in after they left and I thought something was broke, its pretty loud, hums and buzzes an unacceptable amout for my preference(way louder than my 14 yr old cheapo Frigidare. I even have some minor vibrations on the inside. After it got down to temp after a few hours we heard this god awful noise for 3-4 seconds, like when you turn a fauct on and there is air in the system, sputtering and loud. Finally figured out it is the when the ice maker fills with water...I cannot beleive Samsung said "yep thats an okay noise for that to happen when filling water" and went with that. Lastly I like the showcase door, but every now and then when I open the main door it will stick and rip open the showcase door, no bueno. Not sure if that was a bad install when leveling or what. Talked to Best Buy and they were great, going to be switching out for a new one in a few days and I will update a few days after that. Hopefully they new one will not have these issues. I clicked recommend but I will change that if necessary.

I purchased this model on 11/29/15. I chose the samsung brand because of the other samsung items in my home. I MADE A MISTAKE! In June of this year, the refrigeration side quit working. Apparently, these refrigerators have an insulation problem causing the fan to "ice up" and fail. I contacted samsung and they were no help. You see their one year warranty had expired. Thank God, I bought an extended warranty from Best Buy. I contacted Best Buy and they sent out a service tech. The service tech informed me that it was a design issue and is a very, very common problem. Now, ONE MONTH later, the refrigeration side is out again. From what I understand, there is a class action law suit against samsung for this very problem. I'm sure that this would not be necessary if samsung stood by their products. BUT THEY DO NOT! If you gamble and buy this "product", you better get an extended warranty or you will be on the hook for the repairs required by samsung's design flaws. Oh yea, the ice maker is so loud that it would put a Harley Davidson to shame. But, that can be lived with. However, the refrigerator repeatedly failing is not something that a customer should have to live with.

Very pleased with Best Buy’s GeekSquad delivery. Very professional and helpful. Fridge is great and looking good! Sooo worth the extra $100 for none finger print balck finish. The Grab&Go door is actually pretty functional and we use it since day 1. We love it!

We did a kitchen renovation and i read a lot of reviews, the pros would be the sleek style, the light is bright allows you to see everything inside. But that is about where the pros end. I purchased this refrigerator less then a year ago and it stopped working yes stopped working. Cons the ice maker is terrible! It is slow, and if you dont close the door just right you wont get ice out, or the freezer will look like it is closed, no alarms will chime but its open. You can move the shelves much so if you have bottles of soda, or juice you must lay them down. The water spout is not the greatest, its very short and normally gets water everywhere. But most of all it died in less then a year.

The product is very stylish. It is specious. We liked the door-in-door. But, it did not fit in our kitchen.

Works good but ice maker is noisy and shelf curve limit space of food.

This thing is very spacious love the twin doors and then the easy access door. It looks great as well.

Beware of rust around the water dispenser opening. We own the previous version of this product and while it has performed its refrigeration function well enough, there is a major design flaw that is aesthetically unsatisfactory and will eventually impact the product's structural integrity. Samsung's customer service is poor so there is no known remedy and we are faced with replacing the refrigerator well before its time.

This fridge is super!! Had a problem with door on first one... New one was delivered within a couple days with a nice credit to my account. Did the Research and this one stands behind everything! Great efficiency .. And love the side door!!

My old side by side lost temps and needed to be replaced. I reviewed many and found that for me the side by side still was better organized than the french door style with the drawer freezer.

I bought this refrigerator there is 3 years ago. before the first year anniversary water dispenser wasn't working anymore. After many calls to get a ticket, a tech came to fix it. When the fan becomes noisy you have to clean the ice build up in the freezer.Recently i cleaned it but now it is not cooling both sides anymore...so i have to buy another one. But this time no more Samsung!!!!!

This was a lemon. Hasn't worked since the day i got it. Never cooled properly, sensors are bad from the first time i turned it on. Theres an annoying door alarm that goes off every 60 seconds that i can't turn off. Doors are closed. It will freeze a bottle of water then turn off when it wants to then back on for a bit. Must be a union refrigerator. Im tired of living out of a cooler and so is my 1 yr old.

I purchased my Samsung refrigerator just 9 months ago and my refrigerator completely stopped working yesterdy it doesn't cool anymore, the freezer is constantly changing degrees it goes from -11 to 8 in a couple minutes so I'm assuming there's another issue going on there. I would never recommend this fridge to anyone take your money and spend it on something else.
