    I am not happy with the refrigerator. We have had to have the ice maker fixed 3 times already because it keeps freezing up.

    The ice tray will not come out of freezer. The ice maker will not make ice cubes.

    Icemaker defective, Great refrigerator/design

    I purchased this refrigerator 1 year ago. So far, I have encountered 1 design flaw. This involves the formation of an ice dam in the freezer on and around the ice maker, it eventually quit making ice.This was after 4-6 months,they repaired the auger motor free,The same thing happened,wet ice ,small cubes,I extensively tried to accurately build a case for repair But waited a month too long one year and one month. Samsung is giving me a one time accommodation to cover the part 180.00 not the labor 140.00. so my 2500.00 refrigerator is costing me for ice dearly. Rest assured this will Never end I will pursue every avenue to make sure other consumers including myself do not have to pay for DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE. I called Best Buy Pacific Sales.Long story short its my problem,over a year old. My appliance warranty (separate company ) does not cover the icemaker. Notice a pattern?

    This purchase was a disaster. The installers were in a hurry, and didn't set it up correctly. The French doors were uneven, and the adjustment screw stripped in seconds. The door handles kept falling off (installers didn't tighten the set screws after putting the handles on). Then, ball bearings fell out of the tracks of the freezer door, making the door not shut fully, or open fully for that matter, either. Sorry Samsung, you lost a fan here. Kitchen Aid frig is on its way to replace you.

    I had this refrigerator for 4 years and had to have it repaired twice! I thought I was doing the right thing by purchasing the warranty with Geek Squad wrong! the twin cooling stop working my refrigerator thermometer was reading 56 degrees and best buy geek squad is giving me the run around.

    If I had to do it all over again, I would go to the 2 door with pull out bottom in another brand! (Whirlpool)

    My good old Whirlpool side by side quite cooling after 15 years of service so I had to find a new fridge in a short time. I spent a few days researching to try and find a French door fridge with 4 doors that had mostly good reviews. I finally decided on this Samsung and went to Best Buy to purchase. They had to order one but I got an awesome deal with a price match that I had found so I didn't mind the wait. I did have to wait about a week for it to arrive and get a delivery time scheduled. When the delivery drivers arrived we found out it could only go through one door in my house and that was a tight fit but they did an excellent job of getting in the house without any damage to the unit. I have now had this Samsung for 1 year and could not be more pleased with my purchase. I love the fact that I can move the shelves around to accommodate whatever I may need to put inside. It took me several months to figure out that the top shelf of the right side slides out so you can reach things in the back! My veggies stay perfect for far longer than the old side by side crisper drawer kept them and the meat drawer is wonderful too! I really have nothing bad to say about this and after a year I could not be more pleased!

    Please do not buy this unit as the icemaker continually freezes up and has to be defrosted which last for about 3 weeks. Unfortunately it is now out of warranty and Samsung offers no support even though there is a class action suit against them.

    It worked for just a few hours then 1/2 failed. Water dispenser stoped working, Ice maker doesn't work, refrigerator temp won't go below 65 degrees, refrigerator lights don't come on, freezer works so far. Waiting for a new replacement.

    Nice but be aware

    We are definitely liking the 25 cu. ft. French door but there are some items to be aware of for the installation. The refrigerator may not fit through a 32" door even with the doors removed. That is because the rails for the drawer extend about 2" even with the drawer front removed. We had to remove the rails which is not covered in the owner's manual. Unlike the refrigerators we have had in the past, this one has the air inlet and outlet for the cooling system on the back of the refrigerator. It cannot be pushed against a wall and needs at least 2" of clearance at the back. Since we need to have the refrigerator pushed all the way back in our kitchen, we had cut holes in the wall and install air grills into the adjacent room. That might not be possible for other installations. Don't let the installation people just shove it up against a wall or you will probably have poor cooling and high operating cost. The owner's manual has very small pictures and appears to have some errors. The manual says the rails can be separated to remove the freezer door but we couldn't find the release shown in the manual and had to unbolt the door to remove it. We think this is going to be a great refrigerator but be sure you can take care of the air inlet and outlet locations in your installation.

    Do NOT buy this.. I bought it in May 2019 it broke in May 2020. Have been trying to fix it for a year now.. and Samsung is NO help.. $2k in the trash

    The plastic is still on the fridge and will not come off...very disappointing. It is somehow embedded so now there are "flairs" of plastic that WILL NOT come off. DO NOT buy.

    I've had this fridge for about 4 months and couldn't be happier. It's a great size and performs beautifully. Love the middle drawer and huge freezer section. The interior top refrigerator space is ample and it's easy to see everything inside and get to items. The door water and ice work great both day to day and when having a party. LOVE IT!

    I love the bottom drawer...slides easy, but toddler can't open it, and doesn't shut hard enough to pinch little fingers. Organization drawer is bonus too. Everything is visible in well organized refrigerator section. Love the 2 crisper drawers for all the veggies and fruits...see through so you know what you have. The extra drawer is usually our deli drawer, but has organizer for drinks and other levels of cold for when we're entertaining. I love the water in the door and whole or crushed ice option. I looked for THIS fridge for so long, and 6 months in it doesn't disappoint!

    The Layout of the fridge is wonderful. The LED lighting is bright and welcoming. All of the compartments are functional and quite accommodating. Minor problem is the noise, it's got a pretty loud buzz, which is manageable, however is not ideal for something this expensive. BUT...and it's a big but, the ice maker is worthless. After just over a year of use it's already broken. Even when it was "working" it didn't do a very good job. Getting solid cubes is near impossible, mostly crushed ice would come out. But now, conveniently just outside of the warranty time frame it's crashed and burned. Full of slush, and frosted over, it leaks water, which if not tended to regularly will spill down the front of the unit and onto your floor. Apparently this problem is outside of their "5 year coverage" and falls under the 1 year window, so be careful when purchasing. Having checked the internet for a fix, it appears to be a common problem with this unit. I should have listened to my old man and his insistence to always stick with a Kenmore.
