    We bought a Samsung refrigerator in July 2014. Within a few weeks in August 2014, I noticed a loud sound eminating from a fan in the back of the unit. I called warranty company and they said that this sound was normal. I called a second time in September 2014 and the service technician said it was normal again. It didn’t sound normal at all to me. The first week of July 2017, my refrigerator had to be defrosted from ice build up around the condenser as the fan was so loud we could not have a conversation in our home. Now just one month later, we are having the same issue with over freezing and we were instructed by the warranty company, Asurion, that we must defrost again. Defrosting is not a simple job. In order to do defrost, one must remove all bins food and glass trays from the unit, un-screw the panel and use a hair dryer to melt the ice around the condenser which might take over an hour to do. According to the warranty co., Asurion, this is not a failure of the unit. This means that they will never be liable for replacement of this refrigerator which has had the same problem now three times. I would highly advise any consumer to look at the class action lawsuits associated with Samsung products as they do not stand by their products.

    Excellent purchase, perfect french doors and space on them, middle drawer is great for keeping cold drink in perfect temperature when you need them *(consider we live at a hot area) and the fridge area is spacious where you can keep 2 entire 24pks and have space left over.

    Horrible noise- Poor Customer Service

    Fridge has made a horrible clicking noise since day one. Best Buy said it was a manufacturing problem that Samsung knows about. I can't believe this hasn't been recalled. I'm still waiting for a response from Samsung. Every time I call They say someone will call to schedule service but it's been several weeks with no action. I would stay away from this unit.

    In general, it’s a nice refrigerator. An intern must have designed the ice maker. It sits inside your refrigerator and is made of uninsulated plastic. If ice sits in there for any length of time, it melts because the inside of the fridge is much warmer. You deal with constant chunks of melted and refrozen big chunks. Then the drawer freezes in as well. If you look on-line, you will see people suggesting ways to wrap it in insulation to help. Not what I should have to do in a $2000 refrigerator!

    This fridge has broken close to ten times! I started by calling Best Buy. Every time the ice maker freezes up the entire fridge has to be defrosted. I have to resort to using my home warranty. This has cost me to loose food and time$

    I think Samsung is having a hold my beer moment with itself. Between phones catching on fire and washing machines over gyrating to the point that it can cause damage or injuries we now have this $2,000 paper weight of a fridge. I had it for a couple of months when the Ice maker started to fail. Luckily we had the Geek Squad Protection plan(I've read that Samsung is terrible at customer service, at least they're consistent). Best Buy came in and replaced the entire ice maker as well as fixing a design flaw in the unit. Well...round 2. Same old song and dance, its going to be replaced again. Just go ahead and google the consumer complaints about Samsung's refrigerators. There's a news story where this poor lady had her ice maker replaced four times and there's a lawsuit pending. And they are not limited to the issue I've spent way too many hours dealing with. There are thousands of complaints about everything from the doors, motherboard, compressor, as well as my issue. This has been a nightmare and I'm writing this to save you from having the same one. I will never buy anything from Samsung ever again as they've proved that they aren't very good at making anything.

    the fridge lasted 5 years started making horrible buzzing noises, When I called for service they recommended replacing it. I would not buy Samsung again.

    Samsung - 24.7 Cu. Ft. 4-Door French Door Refriger

    We had a Kenmore Refrigerator 12 years old 2-Door Refrigerator that was ready to update-more space. We went to Best Buy and selected the Samsung 33inch 4-Door Refrigerator and it was perfect for our unusual Kitchen area (House built 2003) allowing wife/husband to have things place for there own use. The large doors benefits the wife vegetables drawers, the 3rd draw benefits husband man-cave items such as sausages, cheeses, meats, dips, bread, Small drinks, and treats for our Golden -Molly-; Ice dispenser works great, no drips, ice cubes perfect for water and drinks and Molly treats.

    I purchased this refrigerator in late 2016, so it's not even 4 years old. All of the electronics went out on the refrigerator. So I can't change the temperature, I can't switch between water and ice dispensers, and all of the lights stopped working. According to Samsung, it is a manufacturing defect with the insulation (moisture is shorting out the main logic board), however they won't do anything since it's technically out of warranty. This is an EXPENSIVE refrigerator, and for it to not even last 4 years, that's unacceptable. Sure it's pretty and has nice features, but it's a lot of money to throw away when cheaper units last longer.

    We bought this refrigerator about 3 years ago and will NEVER buy another Samsung refrigerator again. -The water dispenser pressure is to high so can be very messy when filling your cup. -The water/ice spill tray on the front of refrigerator is not removable so a challenge for us to clean. -The freezer does not have an alert tone if not shut all the way. -We have replaced the ice bin 3 times since new costing $150 each time. Now the ice maker is not making ice anymore so will require a service call… We are about done with this piece of JUNK!! If I could give zero stars that would be more appropriate.

    Our fridge quit, I shopped & read reviews. We made the right choice with Samsung Model #RF25HMEDBSR. The best part...it was on sale. It's the Side by Side French Door 4-Door Flex or Bottom Freezer. The freezer auto pull out drawer is handy plus the flex zone in the refrigerator portion is just as handy. The digital controls are great giving you the freezer & refrigerator temperatures in addition to other handy information. While the ice maker is a little noisy dumping ice, I have no problem with it b/c I know it is still working. You will love this refrigerator.

    Great storage and access. Generally works fine. However, one of the great inventions of modern day technology is the built in ice maker. On demand ice, unbelievable. Unfortunately for this fridge, ever two weeks the frost builds in the ice maker and stops the ice drop. Front continues to build and the ice freezes in the making tray. Then -- you get to take a hair dryer to it. Do a search on this and you will find it true and frequent.

    I have purchased a Samsung French door refrigerator, in March 2016. I wanted that fridge for so long! I loved the design of it, and was dreaming how I’ll have it one day! I have purchased it for a little over $2,000 and loved the way it looked in my kitchen, BUT not even 2 month later the freezer stopped working!!! REALLY?!!? The fridge is not even 2 month old and already broken freezer!!! I do have a warranty so it is in the process of being fixed. BUT I had to throw out a lot of food that got spoiled; I had to take time off from work for the repair guy to come in, twice! All I want to say is how disappointed I am in Samsung!!!! Unfortunately, I can’t refer my family and friends to buy Samsung appliances, and will make sure to talk them out of their purchase! I don’t want them to go through the headaches that I am going through!

    Buyer Beware DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR! please save your money and your aggravation. this refrigerator is an absolute nightmare. there is a huge problem with the ice maker. it builds up then makes a horrible sound then eventually breaks the fan by blocking it from spinning. there is a class action lawsuit on this issue. you have to empty all of your contents and unplig it to defrost it. i did this again but this time the fan didnt turn back on. so the temperature would not go below 52 degrees. spoiling all the food. i called and was told an exemption would be made to resolve the issue again. the technician came and was looking for about $400!!! for what? so it would happen again in 4 months? I declined. Stay away!

    Can't open ice maker no matter how hard we try. Can't remove water filter. Should be as easy as turning it as I've replaced water filters on other refrigerators before and was so happy this one was up off the floor. And Samsung won't reply back to my questions. Going to have to pay for a service call. Will never buy Samsung again.

    I have had nothing but issues with this refrigerator. I would not recommend it all. It has broken so many times I lost count. They keep coming back and fixing it only to have it break again. I will never buy a Samsung again.

    She enjoyed the fridge for the first year. After that the ice maker began freezing up and nothing but problems since. She cannot use the icemaker anymore and has shut it off. STRONGLY suggest you choose a different manufacturer/fridge.
