Quiet and of good quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought a set of Samsung kitchen appliances and knew we wanted a dishwasher that was as quiet as possible. After a month of ownership, we love it. We have a smaller open-floor-plan home and our old dishwasher would drown out the tv in the living room. With the tv off, you can hear the dishwasher doing its thing, but it is very quiet. The loudest noise is the water going down the sink drain. The dishwasher seems well laid out and holds more dishes, utensils, misc. then our older dishwasher. The racks slide in and out with ease. The overall quality is what you would expect from a higher-end product.

It is very quiet and does an excellent job of cleaning the dishes. The only complaint I have is that the second rack doesn’t stay in place when you pull it out to place or remove dishes. It may be due to flooring or installation but I don’t know. If I could get that fixed I would highly recommend this dishwasher.

It is whisper quiet and provides that third rack that is handy. I love that the door pops open after the drying cycle and allows for some air drying, if needed.

Dinner dishes don't fit

Neither set fits in the dishwasher. The top spray wheel hits them. Perhaps there is a way of adjusting the top spray wheel

Thank you for your review. We are here to help with your concerns with the dishwasher.
The lower rack can accommodate plates up to 12 inches in diameter and the upper rack can accommodate plates up to 8 inches in diameter.
The top spray/nozzle could not be adjusted but the height of the upper rack could be, it as well could be removed. Please refer to pages 16 - 18 of this model's user manual I have shared below for steps in adjusting the height or removing the upper rack.
In addition, please refer to pages 21 - 22 of this model's user manual for a guide to loading the racks.

Amazing amount of room for large pots,pans, and even cutting boards.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When I open this dw after a cleaning, I sometimes find myself thinking wouldn't it be wonderful if we could put all of life's messy stuff into a machine like this to get cleaned up so easily and thoroughly. It really is the best dishwasher we've owned in both functionality and design. It is also amazing quiet from start to finish, so much so that I used to check if it was really on. The tray above is perfect for cutlery and some plastic items. That tray does take away a bit of the height of the upper tier but one learns to place the items differently for the best results. After eight months of use, we happily give it five stars.

It Has One Job and It's Terrible At It

For pros, it is very quiet, and I appreciate that it sort of sings at you when it's done and it opens the door a bit when it's finished to help air dry the dishes I guess. As for cleaning (it's one job), I do not know exactly why we have had such a rotten time with it when there are so many glowing reviews, but we desperately miss our old Kenmore. It does not consistently clean anything for us except silverware that we put in the top tray. At first when we were having issues I meticulously went through the manual to make sure we were placing dishes correctly. We made adjustments to how we handled pans in particular since we had been placing them incorrectly, but it did not help. Almost every time we run it we have to take items out and hand wash them or leave them for a second run. It's unclear why we even have this appliance at this point and we're seriously considering donating it and getting something else if we can scrape together the money.
