Samsung Dish Washer

I have been using it for a year, and it used to be really quiet, but now it is starting to make some mechanical noises. I don't think that it will last.

Samsung is one my favorite companies.

As far as features go we moved into a new house and the dishwasher we had didnt work. So its all an upgrade. I read many bad reviews. One talking about leaks and another one talkinh about things falling off. My girlfriend and I are happy. As soon as its done the auto dry pops out the door. As a separate complaint though i bought the geek squad service cause they said it would cover the dilivery plus take the old one. Well the game came and he just left it cause he's couldnt get the old one out. I ended up taking the old one out and installing the new one. After a 12 hour shift at a factory. Wasnt please but i did it and that day went to best buy and got refunded my 200 dollars. It was easy installation. I googled it. Well worth the money. You cant even hear it when it on most of the time.

Fundamental flaw in design

It cleaned my dishes efficiently and ran quietly. One month in though, a gasket started leaking, causing water to spill onto my kitchen floor. They came out twice to fix this under warranty. It appears that the gasket is too small for the cover it is supposed to seal. A year later, the same thing happened again. When I reached out for help, they demanded a hefty $150 just to diagnose the issue, with the repair most likely doubling that cost. That ends up being 30% of the cost of the dishwasher for a design flaw of their making (IMO). In the end, I opted to not pay to have it repaired. The appliance itself had potential, but the fundamental flaw with the gasket and the high cost of diagnosis left me with a bad taste in my mouth. If you’re considering this dishwasher, be prepared to navigate some icy waters when it comes to reliability and customer service.

Works well when working

The first Samsung dishwasher I purchased in 2016 had to be replaced in November of 2022 because the circuit board stopped working and they no longer made that board to replace it. This dishwasher I purchased in November 2022 had a broken wire inside the door that would cost at least $400 to fix. These dishwashers work well but the reliability is questionable.

Samsung electronics maybe, Samsung appliances no!!

They sent a technician and refused to service the unit based on an incorrect diagnosis (in my opinion). Sending it to the junkyard. Moral of the story, be wary of Samsung appliances and especially so if they find loopholes in order to prevent them from having to fix a unit that isn’t even 1 year old.

Do Not Purchase.......

A piece inside popped off (this is common, the tray hits it or your silverware tray), killed the machine and Samsung could not fix it and gave me my purchase price, not including installation and taxes back. I have a broken new product just sitting there in my kitchen. Now I have to purchase another dishwasher and pay the installation fee.

Terrible buy

LC error code on this twice, stay away

STAY AWAY!

It just broke...new $600.00 panel needed to repair. We have only used this maybe once a week since we got it, because it's only my husband and me, so the life of this dishwasher is apparently about 60 uses before it dies.

Don’t buy. This dishwasher will fail you.

Which is a leak error. There is a fundamental problem with quality when an appliance fails after a year. Very disappointing. Looks like a bunch of Samsung dishwashers fail to drain for varies reasons.

Take your money and run

Tried replacing the water inlet valve and it didn’t fix the issue of it not filling with water. Highly recommend you avoid Samsung dishwashers.

Don't buy this dishwasher

It is not a cheap appliance and for it to break down within a week of using it and to be fixed twice and still not work properly was very disappointing. Not worth buying.

Pretty but poor design

Leaves soap residue and always has steam/water on the top where the controls are. don’t see tho don’t see this lasting past a year or two.
