Loyalty means nothing, Best Buy doesn't care

I can say with certainty that my recent experience has completely shattered that trust. A recent issue with one of their premium products exposed a combination of defective merchandise, unhelpful customer service, and rigid policies that left me completely unsupported, despite being a long-term, high-spending customer. Attempts to request reasonable goodwill assistance were flatly refused, even when the defect was documented, widespread, and occurred shortly after the warranty expired. The “loyalty” I had assumed mattered apparently counts for nothing. This experience has completely changed my perception of Best Buy. I can no longer recommend them, and I will be reconsidering every past purchase in light of how they treat customers when things go wrong. Loyalty means nothing if a company refuses to stand behind its products or support its customers. I hope this review serves as a warning to others: premium products and long-term patronage will not protect you from being dismissed. I will also be applying this review to my previous purchases because the pattern of service failure extends beyond just one product or incident.

The Dishwasher That Almost Could: The Samsung Smart 42dBA Dishwasher arrived with dreams of sparkling dishes but turned out to be a mechanical nightmare. First off, the door behaves like a stubborn mule - it simply refuses to open all the way. Every attempt to coax it open fully is met with a chorus of crunching sounds, as if it's chewing on the very idea of functioning properly. But wait, there's more. Just when I thought I had reached the peak of my dishwashing drama, a mysterious screw decided to part ways with the machine. Yes, a screw fell out, as if signaling a slow, unceremonious dismantling of what was supposed to be a pinnacle of kitchen efficiency. Best Buy's Vanishing Act: As for the service from Best Buy, it was like waiting for a ghost. They promised to send out a team to address these issues. Ordered 7/26/22 with new Samsung Washer & Dryer needed to coordinate delivery of all items instslled 8/16/22

New Samsung Dishwasher

It is very quiet and does a much better job of cleaning than our older Samsung. However, it was a bit of work to install because the power and drain line were routed different from our old Samsung requiring different fittings and relocating the electrical box.
