This smell was so overwhelming and toxic, that it filled my whole 2-story house as soon as we opened the door. The smell keep fuming out of the dishwasher even after running it 4 times! The strong, toxic smell remained in our house even after we returned it. I have no idea what was wrong with this unit but it smelled dangerously toxic.
