Install was a breeze and seems to work incredibly better than our prior machine - a kitchen aid. Seems to be more solid and rigid than others. Thought id take a chance on samsung again as we have every other appliance and no issues yet.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The dishwasher started leaking and getting error codes. called Samsung technician and after inspection he claims it was damage during delivery also paid for to samsung for delivery. since it happened after 10days after delivery its not covered. The issue can not be seen so no way we could know it was damage on delivery. I bought top of the line dishwasher, range, microwave, dryer and washer. Its surprising after spending almost $5000 they will not cover a faulty top of the line dishwasher.

And not from anywhere we could find - it might be the door seals?? My husband and I unhooked it, took it out, looked everywhere top to bottom and could not find anything indicating where a leak is occurring. We did see that the bottom panel had water and soap residue but it did not auto shut off to prevent electrocution like it is supposed to.... Also, keep in mind I had to ZIP TIE the top rack in three places because it kept falling apart - both the wine glass holder and the pipe connected to the water spinner thing for lower rack- technical term, right? I went to change my original review, but Best Buy does not let you edit your reviews, which is horrible - which means my previous 5 start rating factors into the item. Things should last more than one year, especially at this price point. I am so disappointed.

We bought this because it was listed as the front panel could be swapped out for a custom, it can’t. Only with Samsung panel. Multiple build quality issues. Silver tray had to be replaced right away purchasing it and the replacement unit broke. Samsung wouldnt provide another replacement. Now, it appears the circuit board has failed on the dishwasher and should be covered by the 5 year likited warranty for the board… but nope. Samsung wants charge for the service. Wont ever buy another samsung appliance. The build quality is terrible snf they wont last.

Contacted Samsung and they had me run through an extensive check list before they would send a tech out. Tech came and said motor was bad; so he replaced it. First time using it since it was repaired, now another error code. The builder’s choice cheap dishwasher we had before this one didn’t have a single issue for 2 years. This dishwasher is 2x the price and has been a headache after just a month. Not worth the aesthetically pleasing design!
