    Good value for the money

This is a great value for the money, It's much larger capcity then my previous unit but takes the same amount of space. VERY quiet machine which was important to us. The dishes clean well and the drying is a little longer then previous model but that's ok. My only negative with the unit is that the bottom tray does not alway roll smoothly in and out and I have already popped the wheel off the tray once. Overall for the price, features, and efficiency of the machine, I recommend!

I hate this dishwasher, my husband and I found 3 dishwashers at Best Buy that we considered, after reading the customer reviews we ruled out the Samsung, but when we went to the store the sales clerk told us it was the best one of all the dishwashers on sale, we told her our concerns and she said there hadn't been any complaints so we bought it. she was woring, everything bad about it that we read is true, the worst part is, it smells, I dread opening it and loading dishes, and I rinse all my dishes before putting them in so there isn't a lot of food residue. I have trouble loading it, the racks are strangely positioned and it doesn't dry. I had considered contacting Best Buy and asking for a return, but my husband had spent a lot of time installing it, he had to do some changes from our previous dishwasher, another complaint. and we were past the return by date.

The dishwasher cleans all my plates spotlessly and it's so quiet you can't even tell its on...but I have to leave the dishwasher door open for a while to finish they drying because it does a pretty pathetic job on its own. Also I think the configuration options for larger items is a little lacking but maybe its just me getting used to the new dishwasher. Overall I'd only recommend it if you got a real steal on it.

Not really what I wanted in a dishwasher

I thought this would be a good dishwasher because it was supposed to be low decibel on the noise - that part delivers. But it doesn't really clean as well as I had hoped. Also, the spindles are too close together. I've had dishwashers in the past that had sections that folded down for larger items. I have a hard time fitting glasses in the top without them bouncing around and falling all over the place. If I had to do it again, it wouldn't be this one...

Have used the unit daily for six months. None of the electrical problems others have mentioned but this unit has had a foul odor since day one. The smell is so bad it stinks up the house and will make your hands smell after unloading. Keeping rinse aid full helps moderately. Online help says its the drain back flowing, but in my case that would defy the laws of physics so I attribute the smell to manufacturing issue. Other owners agree with me. Unit smelled on day one, before use. Also, dishes are rarely completely dry after cycle. On the upside, it is an attractive unit, is very quiet, and has a lot of room inside (we are a family of six that eats at home at least twice daily, sometimes more)

We love the quietness of this dishwasher and if you use jet dry your dishes will be dry when finished. If you don't use jet dry then your dishes will be pretty wet. The only thing that I wish I would have done before purchasing this dishwasher is to bring in a couple of my dishes to see if they would fit. They don't fit right which is disappointing - I'm sure that after we have this dishwasher for a while we will be able to figure out how to put our dishes in so that it makes the most sense. If we had thin flat plates then there would not be a problem. If you are thinking of purchasing this dishwasher then I recommend bringing in some of your dishes to try. Other than that this dishwasher is so quiet that you almost can't hear it running!!

We bought a home with an open floor plan. The builder-grade dishwasher looked terrible and you couldn't hear the TV while it was running. So we started shopping around. Most of the really nice looking ones with hidden controls are in the $1000 range. We've had other Samsung appliances and have been happy with them, so we gave this a shot. As other reviews have noted, it's EXTREMELY quiet. Washes our dishes just fine and it looks great. We do miss having a "quick wash" option but it's not a big deal. We're happy with it. My only gripe has to do with the difficulty of installation. The water intake connection comes out on the front and is supposed to run down a channel underneath it to the back, and there's no wheels to help ease it in. This design seems dangerous as you could easily pinch or crush the hose pushing the unit into place. It also means you're probably going to need a longer hose than what's included in the typical connection kit. Most people pay for pro installation so they won't know or care about it, but it's annoying anyway.

    Fantastic Dishwasher!!!

Bought this dishwasher a few weeks ago, my old one was on its last leg, installed it using our recommended dishwasher install kit which made everything really easy. My previous dishwasher was so loud I had to double the volume on my tv just to hear it! And with this one it's so silent I can't even tell it's running!! Washes dishes great, plenty of room, adjustable top rack, and removable bottom tines to fit large pots and pans, lids on the silverware basket for the kids lids, and hidden controls to keep those little fingers away! It does use the European drying system with means hidden heating element which means no more melting lids or bottles that fall through and it does take a little bit more time to dry, but we run the cycle then don't touch it till next night so by that time they are all dry.

This dishwasher cleans well enough and is quiet. However, my dishes fall over every time I slide the racks back in. My glasses don't stay upright on the top rack and my plates fall over in the bottom. My cereal bowls also do not fit well in this machine. There is a pull-out rack on the bottom for large pots and pans, but they don't stay in well either. I am happy with everything else, but it is getting to be a real pain to load the darn thing.

This dishwasher is the quietest of any I've ever owned. It's hard to tell when it running until the drain cycle. It doesn't have a drying element and sometimes there's quite a bit of moisture on the dishes. (this is the only problem I can see so far). Have used 10-20 times and dishes always come out clean. Even dried foods are no match for this DW.

We've only had this dishwasher for about a week, but we LOVE it. Our main issue with our old dishwasher is that it was LOUD! We couldn't watch TV in the living room while it was running. This new Samsung is super quiet. You can't even tell it's running unless you are standing right beside it! Dishes come out spotless! The only thing we have found is that you do need to use Jet Dry or another type of rinse agent. If you don't, the dishes don't dry very well. After using the Jet Dry it has really helped they drying process a lot!

    Great VALUE

I got this unit as returned item. It is a great machine for what I paid. I read the reviews before buying and have to say many were spot on. The machine is VERY quit...sometimes I honestly don't even know it is running while in the same room. I have had the wheels pop off every once in a while...not the end of the world though. Only 2 complaints are: 1--our glasses don't/wont stay put in the rack slots designed for glasses...feels like the wires should be set up a little differently to better support them so they don't tip over if they are not all packed in one next to the other as you pull or push in the upper rack 2--the upper rack is designed with slant from left to right to allow for larger/taller items to fit into the upper rack. Problem is that if you are loading large serving or mixing spoons and Utensils in the basket on the lower rack, it can become an issue. I never thought I would end up so critically analyzing a dish washer, but here I am. When the time comes for a new one, I might explore a few more models before buying this one again, but again, for what i paid for it as an open/returned item I couldn't pass it up.

I purchased this dishwasher as an out of the box item/floor model. I have had good luck with open box items from Best Buy. I have been very happy with this dishwasher. You can barely hear it running, and inner racks allow you to fill it up very efficiently, you can run some pretty large loads.

Good buying experience, but everything downhill...

My delivery and install was a big hassle. Haul away and installation were different companies. Haul away was scheduled BEFORE installation. Guy showed up 7:30 am, but old dishwasher was still unhooked. As for installation 3rd party company gave me a window of 3pm - 7pm. What happened to 2 hour windows? Worse, it was impossible to call and talk to them - busy signal or voicemail which was full. Called best buy, but met with indifference. By the way, outsourcing to a 3rd party company does not mean getting rid of responsibilities. Anyway, installation company showed up near he end of the window and I noticed that the guy installing was in a hurry. He proceeded to jam the dishwasher in and he was quite rough. I had to tell him to slow down and take it easy on the granite counter top! He also scratched the dishwasher control panel. The washer is also not all the way in. Running a test cycle now and I motive water leaking! He made me sign the completion order before all this and bolted. The buying experience at the store was VERY good. Delivery and installation was a nightmare. Will not be buying anything that I can carry out myself from best buy again.. Will be calling the store about the leak.

We have an open floor plan, as most newer homes do, and our previous dishwasher was so loud we couldn't hear conversations across the room. After a while that dishwasher started leaving an odor on all the dishes - something between dead squirrel and wet dog. We just installed this dishwasher a few days ago. I can't believe I'd be this excited over an appliance! It's SO quiet!! If I listed carefully, it sounds like a small aquarium - just the slightest hum and bubbling, but you have to listen for it. It's really that quiet. The controls are simple and dishes come out perfectly. Installation was pretty straightforward. Get someone to do it for you if you're not comfortable with hooking up the electrical. This unit comes with no water supply line or power cord. Get a longer line and cord than you think you need. We had to hit Home Depot twice for this. The line and cord run from the back of the unit through a trough to the front left side.

    Love this dishwasher!

I have had this dishwasher for about two months, and I love it. It has a very clean look and my dishes are perfect 99% of the time. A couple of times something was positioned in a way that made it difficult for the dishwasher to do its job, and the dish didn't get clean....but I guess that's more of a "user error". The cycle is very long.....around 2.5 hours, but very quiet...it is easy to forget that it's even running at all. My one complaint would be the guide wheels on the bottom rack....they pop off fairly regularly and cause some issues in getting the rack out and finding the wheel to reattach....but no big deal.

Love this dish washer, my wife loves this dish washer so much she now does the dishes for me :) It's capacity is great and you can adjust the sliding trades accordingly. It's very quiet and the dishes are clean the first time, no more putting dishes back in the washer to be washed again. Best Buy installed the washer for us and they did a great job. Also, Best Buy had the best price at the time we purchased this washer.

    Nice dishwasher

I like this dishwasher. It seems to do as good a job as any when it comes to washing dishes. The best part of this dishwasher is that it is SO quiet. I don't like the fact that the light shuts off 10 minutes after the dishes are done. I'm not always right there to get them out so sometimes I forget if they're dirty or clean. It would be nice to have some way to know. My other dislike is that my silverware is wide at the top of the handles and my forks won't fit in the silverware holder. I just open the lid of the silverware holder and put them in that way so it's not a show-stopper.

    Quiet dishwasher that cleans great.

It's a beautiful dishwasher, but I'm annoyed by the top rack. Some of my cups and other top rack safe dishes, sometimes don't fit neatly or don't fit at all. I am constantly rearranging dishes to make everything fit. On the bottom rack, the back wheels seem to often fall between the door and the dishwasher (while open) making me think that the wheels are going to pop off. And even though we always pre-rinse dishes before placing them in the dishwasher, the smell is sometimes horrible after it sits for a day or so waiting to get a full load. Not sure if this is because it's stainless inside instead of plastic or not. However, with all that aside, it cleans beautifully and quietly and that is what matters most! We'll figure out how to deal with the "problems" in due time.
