When it works, this dishwasher was nice and quiet, but did a mediocre job of drying dishes. Dishes came out reasonably clean. Best buy's installer took almost a month to get the dishwasher out to us. Drain pump failed less than two months later. Samsung service took over 3 weeks to manage to successfully dispatch a technician to replace it. Technician did not have replacement parts, waited another week for parts. One week after drain pump was replaced, Unit is reporting a leakage error, so now we are back to waiting for service from samsung. DO NOT BUY.

So far so good! This washer is very qiuet and my dishes are looking good! The bottom drawer it a little rough pushing it back in when you load up too many heavy dishes but otherwise I have no complaints. And being stainless steel lined, it really helps to use the rinse agent - no water spots on the door. All in all a great buy!

Buttons are located on the top of the door so it has a clean look. Have not experienced any issues with the dishwasher not cleaning or drying thoroughly. We have noticed that it takes considerably longing to wash and dry than our previous dishwasher however it is quieter. (Always a trade off.) Should not be a problem for potential buyers if they use it at night.

First of all, my experience with Best Buy has always been fantastic. Nothing against Best Buy, but my experience with this dishwasher has not been. First time I ran it, in the heavy cycle, glasses looked like they were etched. Ran it a second time on the heavy/sanitize cycle, turned out better, but it takes forever. You must use the rince aid, if not, plan on doing them by hand. Very poor drying, limited cycle options. Also, if you don't remove the dishes right after it is done, it condensates inside and you have to run it again. I called Best Buy and they said they would take it back, in all my brilliance, I decided to try it out for a while...wrong move. It's been just over 3 months since I bought it and the computer board went out. The repairman said Samsung makes good TV's, not so much for dishwashers. If you decide to buy this, I wish you the best. If you have any doubts after you buy it, return it right away...good luck. On the plus side, very quiet and a good looking unit.

This dishwasher is amazing! Love the design and it is super quiet. Holds a ton of dishes, included large items. Can remove bottom section of divider rack to fit large items. Cleans great and spotless when using the sanitize cycle with rinse agent. Doesn't have a heated drying cycle, but uses two fans, so it doesn't get dishes completely dry unless you use the sanitize setting (we always use anyway).

I bought this dishwasher on sale and am happy with my purchase. It looks nice, seems to work well, and fit perfectly into my new space. I replaced a pretty ineffective dishwasher and this one does a good job. Haven't had to re-run the dishes yet which I did a lot with my previous dishwasher.

I bought this dishwasher a few months ago after our old one decided not to drain anymore. We picked this one after reading reviews and it matched our range and over-the-range microwave we already had. I waited a few weeks and got a great price on it. We installed it ourselves very easily. We have very hard water in our area, so I have to use a certain brand and rinse aid to make sure the dishes are clean, but they always are. The no heat dry is fine for our purposes, the dishes typically come out quite dry. Some people have complained about a smell in their comments - the only time ours has smelled was when we left dirty dishes in the washer for more than a couple of days. My only complaint is that this dishwasher is a bit noisier than our previous, but it was a Frigidaire Ultra Quiet I believe, and it truly was quiet. However, the decibel meter on my phone always registers about 60 db at its highest. I would recommend this product to a friend.

cleans and dries dishes good. is very quiet when running. The only con of this product is the placement of the silverware holders is on the side of the rack making, when silverware is in it the weight makes it harder to slide the rack in evenly. overall I am happy with this product

I would consider this a good / decent dishwasher. It's very quiet :) I like the few features located on top of door, as well as the steel interior. Very large cutting boards and pizza rounds do not fit; would have liked a design to accommodate these items that my previous old American-made and designed dishwasher had.

We purchased this dishwasher and a Samsung fridge, November 2009. Dishwasher has a nice look, and we thought it would be an added benefit (for drying, etc) to have the interior stainless steel tub. The spacing on the lower rack doesn't fit many of our plates, though we've found a way to make it work. After trying several various cycles, we've lived with the machine not cleaning dishes well, though if you handwash or rinse very well - only 3 or 4 dishes/glasses need to be returned for a second wash. The hidden element also causes the dishes to not always dry well. Unfortunately after 6 months the upper rack's plastic adjustments broke, no more moving the racks up and down! We should have know better and are disappointed with the 12 month warranty. We've just passed that time frame and the machine is now very problematic - terribly noisy and has a burning odor (think rubber). After contacting Samsung, they mentioned they'd extend the warranty for us and address the issues. When they called us to schedule the actual appointment - we were advised that their customer service person we intitially spoke with was wrong - they won't cover anything. Time to purchase a replacement!

We just purchased this Samsung Dishwasher just before the Holidays. After reading the previous reviews, we decided on this unit. We have been very happy and pleased with the unit. It is nearly silent and is a very solid machine. I would recommend this machine!

Very quiet when running. So far no problems after 1 month. cleans well. Went with white due to it being $100 less than stainless. Still has the stainless inside.

Got this dishwasher on sale for under $500. Installing the dishwasher was pretty easy and only required basic tools. After operating this unit for about a month, I can say that it’s a great value for the price. The dishwasher works as advertized. A couple key features of the unit is how quiet it is when it operating and the sanitize feature. Another added bonus is that it fits in nicely with the rest of the Samsung stainless appliances in my kitchen. After one month of use, I would recommend this unit to friends and family.

I bought this dishwasher three weeks ago and am very impressed. It could be quieter from my perspective but I am being very picky because if it was much quieter you wouldn't hear it at all. The only time it is noticeable is when it is changing in between cycles. The dishwasher looks great and I was able to install it myself with no problems.

thanks goodness for reviews! We were about to buy the LG dishwasher. Yikes! The Samsungs all got high reviews and for good reason. Dont use the "autosmart" setting. the first run of dishes all came out dirty. We use the "heavy" setting now and everything comes out great! I wish it had more options and not having a quick rinse cycle is a bummer, but its bigger than our last one with an adjustable rack height which is nice. We can put a full size lobster pot in it and it fits and the thingy still spins above it.

First Time....It wouldnt Fill (Technical Malfunction), Second Time It Would go through a Pre Rinse and then Stop (Replaced a Circuit Board), Third Time It Wouldnt Drain (Replaced The Pump), Fourth and Final....It goes through the Cycle with a Horrid Grinding and Howling Noise. I was Done with it. Samsung Dishwashers are the Pitts. I bought the older model of the same dishwasher in our last house and worked great until it sprung a leak within one year, I returned it to Lowes and I Replaced it with a Bosch. I decided to give them another shot with this newer model....It was Worse. I returned it and got a Bosch. Spend the Money...It's worth it for the Bosch. Samsung Washers/Dryers , Refrigerators and electronics are amazing. We have had flawless luck with ours. Thats why it seemed a no brainer to buy the dishwasher....whoops.

Imagine walking through your kitchen and being startled by the fact that your dishwasher is on......and you never turned it on! Yes, that has happened to me on several occasions. Scares the heck out of me, that's for sure. But besides that, it is so tempermental, in terms of the way you need to stack items in order for them to get clean. If you don't stack them up just so you will not get them clean. I have had the repairman out 3-4 times for this, but nobody knows why it comes on by itself. Regarding the cleaning issue, the repairman admitted that the system requires precision stacking, something I've never had to deal with before. Don't buy this product unless you want to be startled and disappointed.

This diswasher is very quiet ..... quieter than my Kitchenaid it replaced. The tall design is nice, as it allows for more dish capacity, both in numbers and size. Controls are a bit "touchy" in that you have to push them 'just right' to get them to work. The non-heated dry cycle leaves water on top of glasses and bowls. One other thing to consider ..... the tall design takes more lower clearance behind the dishwasher. My plug was not low enough to allow me to slide the dishwasher in all the way. It hit the plug. I had to reroute the wiring, but that wasn't too big a problem. All in all, I'm satisfied with the dishwasher. Looks great!

I have used this for about a year and a half and it works great every time. Easy to load, and dishes stack neatly. the bottom rack is a little tricky sometimes to slide back in, need to push it in evenly.

we bought this dishwasher on sale. It cleans well. hardly ever have to re-wash anything. We found that if you use the cascade rinse aid that dishes come out dry. Only complaint is that the wheels for the bottom rack pop off easy.
