Samsung makes great televisions. They have no idea how to make a quality dishwasher! This unit looks great and comes with a lot of features and is very quiet but it does a horrible job of cleaning. We often must run it twice to get a load clean and this is after pre-rinsing. There is always severe mold at the bottom crease of the door that collects and smells. You must bleach this after every one to 2 loads! The wheels of the carriage tray constantly come off. The wash time seems like it is over 3 hours long. Samsung refused to do anything about it after repeated calls. It is between one and two years old now. I did not follow up with Best Buy as they are a very reputable company

Well, I never thought I'd find a diswasher that was worse than my Maytag (a Whirpool Co) but I did. While this is wonderfully quiet, the upper rack has two levels, and it has a "hard food disposall", it doesn't dry as well as an actual heated dry unit. It does OK but a bit more "puddly" (if there were such a word). Even after 40 days, multiple detergents, two different rinse-aids... we sent it back. It just won't wash. Glasswear was cloudy and stainless pots and pans looked as if there was a white lime buildup all over. It doesn't have a timer but is quiet enough you don't really need on.

Never was there once a time when it completed a full cycle on any setting (heavy duty, delicate, regular) and all of the dishes came out clean. In the first year we had it repaired twice. The second time the repair guy came he said we were putting the dishes in too dirty. We didn't wash the dishes before they were put in (like you had to in the old days) but they weren't caked. We've now owned it for almost a year and a half and I have given up and just bought a new one. I am so sick of taking out a mug with stuff caked on the inside. I have more cons that wouldn't fit on the line: does a terrible job at drying, it smells sometimes, the jet dry holder is confusing, the plate rack area isn't slanted enough... I could go on.

This Samsung Dishwasher is a joy to use. The flexibility in both drawer height and dish layout possibilities is ingeniously designed. The controls are very easy to use. The Dishwasher runs extremely quietly (...in fact it still surprises me how quiet it is each time I use it. And of course, most importantly, the dishes, glasses, pots, pans and silverware all come out very clean every time!!! This is my first Samsung Dishwasher and at this point, I can't imagine buying any other brand ever again. Well Done!!!

We bought this dishwasher so we could do dishes while watching TV in the next room, without having the TV so loud the neighbors two doors down could follow the plot. We were more than pleased with the silence that accompanies this dishwasher's operation. On top of that, if actually does a great job cleaning the dishes! The only feature lacking is heated dry, but we never used it anyway in the name of energy conservation, so no loss there.

After reading some of the reviews I almost canceled order and ordered another brand. We had ordered a new refrigerator, stove and microwave also in Samsung brand. Really wanted to keep all the same brand if possible so we took a chance. So far so good. We've been using it now for about 3 weeks. Very quiet. Dishes have always come out clean. No problems with shelves coming off so far. No complaints.

AVOID- AVOID- Read the reviews here, Avoid at all cost. Dishes look worse then when i put them in most times, odor is bad, etc etc. Had it 6 months and it has been getting worse in cleaning since about 2 months in. Went to Best buy to speak with them on the issue (i understand the manufacture is responsible after 30 days but you can still try to answer a costumers questions and not be a jerk). Have bought thousands of dollars of products at BB in the past, but my recent experience with both Samsung and Best Buy regarding this product, will surely effect my future decision on who to buy from and what manufacturer. VERY DISSATISFIED costumer.

I almost never write reviews for this type of thing but my daily battles with this machine have prompted me to break tradition. First of all, I will say, "Shame on me," for not doing more research prior to purchasing this unit. I've had it for almost a year and it ticks me off on a regular basis. The Good - Dishes do get clean (don't forget the rinse aid liquid) - Very quiet operation (this feature ALMOST makes up for not having a delay start) The Bad - No delay start (Really? What dishwasher doesn't come that feature?) - Finish light only stays illuminated for 10 minutes (Sometimes I can't remember if I ran it or not) - Tight seal (Machine does not vent well so you should open the door when washing is done to allow dishes to dry more quickly) - Poor basin design (You know the bottom of the machine where the water pools and the sprayer spins around? That part right at the bottom of the door collects food. You'd better clean it every time or you'll get a nasty, moldy build up). - Very limited wash options - Utensil baskets constantly fall off their perches. No solid snap-in design. Basket lids never stay propped open (maybe I should just take them off huh?)

This dishwasher is wonderful. It gets my dishes spotlessly clean and dry and does it without making a sound above a whisper. It dosen't have very many options but I do not use many anyway and I have never used a delay start even when I have had it. I am so glad I chose this one. Best Buy's delivery and installation process was also excellent.

We did a lot of looking around at diswashers prior to buying this one and we are very happy with our choice. The only downfall to the disher is the ease of moving the top shelf up or down is not as easy as some, but with out little we do that it did not make any difference to us. Very quiet - nice sleek design - very happy! The Best Buy service was fabulous. Very friendly and knowledgeable compared to other places we looked at. Thanks!!

We had a maytag and the circuit board keep going out. It was a few years old and I made up my mind to get a new dishwasher if the board went out again so here I am getting my wife a new Dishwasher. We have a Samsung Refrigerator so now they match and the Dishwasher is super in everyway. I think its a great deal. It was very easy to install myself and fun.

This Samsung dishwasher was a huge investment for my family, but we wanted "Quality." Hah! Do not buy this terrible dishwasher. Within the first month of its installation, the dishwasher malfunctioned. The computer panel was locked, and the dishwasher beeped at us for days. Since the fancy computer controls wouldn't work, the dishwasher couldn't drain. Since it couldn't drain, we had fetid, stinking water in the unit--and the unhelpful, rude customer service agents couldn't schedule a repair person under warranty for a week, and were of no help at all in resolving the immediate problem of the standing water and the beeping. They had terrible attitude as well. Dishes do not dry adequately with this unit, either. overall, it's entirely over-priced, given the unreliability of the unit and the bad customer and service support that comes with it.

Love this DW. But has to be set on Sanitize or water is still on dishes. On Sanitize, the water is gone, dishes are spotless!. My wine glasses never looked so nice, but when I touched the glass, it cracked. Obviously, too hot, but otherwise, there is a lot of water everywhere. Got this for a great price over Labor Day weekend sale. It is very quiet and and very upscale look for my kitchen

We got this Samsung on sale and were hoping it would do the job. Not only does it do the job it does it so quietly you can not tell it is running. We had no idea how clean our dishes could get and love the clean sparkle on the dishes, glasses and silverware. Installed this myself and I had more challenges taking the old dishwasher out then installing the new one..... We are very pleased.

Very low to the ground, not easy to load bowls and glasses do not stay upright, fall over when push to close. My glasss are still couldy although seem clean, lots of water spots.

I bought this washer on sale and was so excited that I found a good deal and free installation and delivery too. Then I came home and read the reviews here and was afraid I had made a big mistake. I have done several loads of dishes and they have come out totally clean and dry--no spots. I do not understand the complaints I read about and am very pleased with the dishwasher. It matches our Samsung refrigerator and I love the sleek front and top panel controls. Also you have to try hard to hear any sound. So if you read the other reviews, don't let that stop you from buying this machine. Happy customer.

Very quiet machine....cleans dishes well. Love the ability to change position of higher rack. Very happy to date.

could have done better on this purchase.....does not clean well. noisier that I expected. found that putting in less dishes than the rack hold makes it clean better. bottom rack does not slide in and out easily. best thing about it is that it looks nice.

We own other Samsung products that are great (washer + dryer), so we expected this to be a good product. I did a lot of research before buying this. I thought that I made the right decision. Having owned the product now for about 18 months, here are the issues. 1. Plastic clip holding the upper tray broke. First the one side and then the other. It seems to be a design flaw, as I read about similar problems on line from other owners. Samsung refused to replace the second piece as it was literally about a week past the warranty date. I explained that it failed exactly same way as the first piece, but no go. Pretty harsh for a $700 dishwasher. The customer service rep (a supervisor, in fact) was extremely rude. This experience left a bad taste and I will think really hard about another Samsung product. 2. Dishes don't come out as clean as I had hoped. It holds a lot, but you have to be very careful with placement. 3. It is noisier than I expected. 4. The front panel is extremely fragile - just bumping into it will dent it, and it is very difficult to clean. 5. Had an error message about low water pressure. Bad sensor - read it about it on line. This, too, is a common problem. The good - uses very little soap. I don't recommend this product!

I decided to replace my previous dishwasher - a cheap GE that I purchased nearly 10 years ago - because I thought the couple hundred bucks it would cost to replace the hose and detergent holder would be better used toward the purchase of a new dishwasher. this one was attractive, but after installation, i realized that it was all looks and no substance. It wasn't cleaning the dishes! I thought maybe I had just gotten a defective unit; so, I asked BestBuy to replace it. Unfortunately, the second one had the same problems. For well over $500, I had purchased a drying rack for hand washed dishes! I'm on the phone now to have it replaced with a Bosch dishwasher. fingers crossed this one will work. I kinda wish I had just fixed my old cheap one. at least I knew it would actually clean the dishes, even if it wasn't so pretty.
