I had purchased a 24" Vizio Smart TV the night before I had returned it and later purchased this Samsung 24" from Best Buy. I had bought the VIZIO at Walmart and was extremely disappointed when the apps wouldn't load, the resolution was completely pixelated, and the WiFi kept losing connection (which through this Samsung TV I found out wasn't my routers fault). This Samsung TV didn't have any problems loading apps, switching between them, or keeping the WiFi connection. The VIZIO would freeze everytime I used it and literally got to the point of being unusable. It wouldn't even allow me to play through half of an episode of a show on Netflix. This Samsung TV has improved on every single negative quality of the Vizio as well as looking very nice and fairly easy to put together. It's definitely worth the price as I had originally considered Vizio because it was $50 cheaper than this one. Spending the extra money made up for the frustration I felt in trying to access Netflix, Hulu, radios, etc. Definitely a satisfied buyer!! Would recommend.

I bought this for my son's room to double as both a computer monitor and TV. I love that it's a smart TV and allows him to use apps like Amazon Prime and NetFlix. It has a great picture and is just the right size for our needs.

Bought the TV for are kid's bedroom, very nice and clear picture and worked well.Easy to set up and navigate.The kid's love it,now they watch YouTube on it and no longer using the computer.Excellent bay for the price!

TV is great size & price for home office or small room. Excellent picture and features. Would have liked more of a manual for ease of setting up different features.

Very nice tv for a bedroom. Setup was very easy, especially hooking up to the internet. for a 720 P picture.....it is very clear. I would recommend to a friend.

Good tv but too small for a room!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Overall a great product. Bought it for my son to watch Netflix primarily. It does its job. Great picture and sound. It takes a minute or two for the TV to 'Warm Up" when it is turned on. It is annoying to turn on the television and come back a minute or two later so the TV can connect to the WiFi. Other than that it is a great product. Don't lose the remote. It's a pain to work the TV with the little knob at the rear of the TV.

Bought this to replace the 19" non-smart tv in my bedroom... PROs: Very easy to set up, remote is easy to use in the dark, good sound quality, excellent picture quality, love that I can add and subtract apps as I desire. CONs: I've noticed that it can be a bit sketchy when loading the apps, and has a tendency to buffer a lot in netflix, which usually resolves after I reboot the TV. Also, no button controls on the TV, so I better not lose the remote under the bed! :)

Great TV has every thing you could want. YouTube,Netflix,web browsing etc. All work great! Other reviews said there is no other controls other than the remote. This is not true. There is a button on back in lower corner that's like a joystick. It can be used as a controller. The manual explains that you need to be within 50 feet of your router. The closer the better. Awesome TV for the price!

I bought this TV in-store 2 days ago. The remote was a little slow to respond for a little bit, but after extended use it worked just fine. The picture is crystal clear, sound is great, and it doesn't get hot like all the other flatscreens i've owned in the past. $149 was an EXCELLENT price for a smart tv too. Best 24 inch TV around, folks. Highly recommend.

Plug and play - didn't have to play with the picture options to get a great picture, set up was easy; however the Smart functions/menu is slow and its not my internet. Also, you don't get as many apps pre-loaded as you do with a RoKu, etc. I returned this TV, bought the Samsung UN24H4000AFXZA and a Roku; works much better.

I really love the features of this tv. One of the things I'd been trying to find was a tv that would connect to my cloud drive and play the video files I'd stored on the drive. I previously tried a Vizio 'smart' tv, but it wouldn't recognize the m4v video files, nor was it compatible with the media server on the drive. However, the Samsung not only seamlessly connected to my cloud drive, it had NO problems playing those files. I'm really impressed and happy about that especially since I was told my WD My Cloud drive didn't have the right media server to accommodate this. However, Samsung came through for me on this. :) The other things I like is that the tv is pretty easy to use in general. I'm not especially crazy about the layout of the remove control, but it's ok. Oh, I can also connect this tv to my iMac via HDMI cable. That's awesome too. Ok, the only downside to this tv is the stand that comes with it. Wow!! This stand has got to be the most poorly designed stand I've ever seen. It's frustratingly difficult to get the mounting screws into the holes of the stand much less line them up with the screw holes on the bottom of the tv. I did finally get the stand attached to the tv, but it took several minutes to do this (and I am pretty mechanically inclined). Oh, the other thing I'm not hugely fond of is that supposedly all these web apps are available for the tv, aside from Netflix and Hulu, I had to go searching for the other apps. (skype, etc). I don't know why they aren't already loaded into the smart hub.

This TV offers a lot for the money including smart functionality. Picture is great! The only issue is with the excessive smart hub load time. It can take several minutes to load an app.

I started assembling the tv and discovered you have to secure the base by screwing 3 small screws into holes about 4 inches deep in a hole small enough you can't get your hand in. So much for good mechanical design. Then when I got the tv set up the remote only worked intermittently. I replaced the cheap batteries with good batteries with the same results. I called tech support and they stepped me through some test with no positive results. They transferred me another department and after waiting 4 minutes on hold they announced it would be another 20 minutes wait time. I called back and after running the same test the tech decided I had a faulty remote and filled out the paperwork to have me sent another remote. Possible wait time 2 weeks. Oh BTW if you decide to go ahead and buy this tv before you call tech support get the magnifying glass out and copy the model # and serial# off the back

This TV is OK - I'm living with it - but it's annoying and quirky. When you click the SmartTV button, it sometimes takes several minutes to rev up. Other times, it just shuts itself off in the middle of a program, or the remote just refuses to work for a while (even though I'm close and the batteries are new). Then, the remote starts working again. I wanted a SmartTV with a browser, but when I replace this one, I won't buy Samsung again.

I love Samsung as a brand. I've owned a Samsung TV, Phone, and Hard Drive. That being said: this product does not live up to the Samsung name. The TV stand itself is fickle, the remote is spotty, and worst of all: the "smart" features are laughable. They can take minutes to even load. My TV had a "stuck" pixel right out of the box. The pros? Decent price for the size and when it does work properly, the picture is good. I just expected more from one of my favorite brands.

TV works nice and has a good picture. This was a huge upgrade replacing an old tube TV. The apps area little limited and I only notice this because we have a larger Samsung smart TV that has very good apps. The screen mirroring capability will be very useful. But for some people, the non-smart version of this same model + a streaming unit will have more app capability. But overall, fairly happy with the product.
