Broken after 2 years and too expensive ro repair

Bad out of the box
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After much deliberation, we settled on this unit because of the 3rd Rack and the quiet noise level. We also purchased a new install kit in lieu of using old items. After 2 hrs installing, we set for first use. Upon loading dishes, we noticed the third row would not close. After inspecting we found that the topmost sprayer was defective and did not mount flush to the top of the washer. It is kept up by two plastic catches that were apparently missing. Upon further inspection, we found that the second tray was missing a when and another was broken in half. This unit was brand new in the box delivered by Best Buy with plastics and seals all over but somehow came defective. It was demoralizing to put in all that work installing only to find it was a defective. Thinking these were parts that I could have shipped, I would not have to go through the trouble of pulling that unit out so we gave it a spin with a few plates and glasses. When I went in to check on the status, I noticed the door had opened by it self. I still am not sure if this is how it is suppose to operate but that is a red flag for us and those who have small children who could get access to knives, etc. Moreover, I can only imagine what else was wrong that was not visible so we decided to return altogether. So, now we have to sit with an empty cabinet space for a week or two until a new unit an arrive only to start all over. I thought Samsung was a good combination of tech and quality but not so sure anymore.

I don't recommend using there installers, hire a plumber to install, my cost a little more but you probably will not get screwed over like I did. I give dishwasher a 10, I give Best Buy installers and customer service a -10.
