Amazing dishwasher !! It does its job correctly!!!!

A nice quality dishwasher for the price, I'm not a huge fan of Samsung appliances as I have had bad experiences in the past, just make sure to purchase with a good warranty coverage and everything should be fine

Very happy with this machine. Quiet, efficient. Take the silverware caddy out and use the top shelf to make more room. Install was easy. Experience with Best Buy was very good.

We were excited to replace a very outdated washer with a new unit. Our budget was limited, but wanted to find a washer that had a third rack, and settled on this Samsung. First, the tines design on the lower and middle racks is poor. They are so close together on the bottom that there may not be enough space for water to blast upwards and clean the plates if stacked one next to the other. That also presents a problem if you're loading larger items, since they will ride on top of the tines, and not settle between them (thus possibly interfering with the washer arm of the second rack). The second rack's tines are likewise poorly laid out. Spacing is a real challenge for normal pint sized glasses, which do not sit well on the sides. Second, the basket that catches food particles doesn't really capture them. When you pull it out, the large particles remain in the reservoir, and you have to pick it out by hand. The basket and filter comes out easy enough, but were designed by complete idiots. What's the purpose of having a filter if, when you pull it out, it leaves behind the very food it was supposed to capture? Finally, the most disappointing thing is that this unit will not clean dirty dishes unless they've been pre-washed. Numerous things that even our decade old washer took care of this new unit won't tackle. And if you're unlucky enough to have dirty dishes remaining at the end of a cycle (because how are you supposed to know what foot will or won't stick until after the fact?), then whatever food remains on it will be baked on if you use the heated dry option--thus requiring you to hand wash the dishes. And we use regular detergent (and rinse aid) and also pre-run the water at the sink until it's hot. Tried all the different cycles. Nothing changes. We suspect this is due to an underpowered motor that cannot blast water at high enough pressure to truly wash the dishes. It's not an obstruction/loading issue either. We just can't recommend this washer since it fails at the very basic function of CLEANING the dishes. I don't care about bells and whistles or stupid "stainless steel" face (which, by the way is nearly a false statement, since it remains magnetic/ferrous, so it's poor quality stainless at that). We'll be filing a warranty claim as this dishwasher is unfit for its intended purpose.

For some reason since updating their site some reviews have been removed...HMMM. The inside is not stainless steel that is only the color. I think that is a bit misleading. My biggest issue with this dishwasher is at least 3 times a day just by getting near it the power turns on and has to be shut off. Despite the fact that Samsung says all you have to do is hold the heated dry button in for 3 sec to lock it so that doesn't happen. Unfortunately that only works for about 7 minutes and the next time you are near it again the power comes on. To think I will be living with this for the life of this dishwasher is maddening. Someone will come over and lean on the counter there and oops I have to say stupid dishwasher turns on Sorry! What a pain! I usually rinse my dishes prior to washing so far things are clean.

I love my new dishwasher Works very well Surprisingly quiet

Always had problems with it, since week one there was always something, and then worked ok for a few months and then again, something, could be a hose clamp getting loose, wet sensor tripping, a rubber hose leaking, the components of this particular machine are not top quality, the fitting plastic where you connect the rubber hoses have deformed, making the rubber hose/clamp connection difficult.

This works fine but only cleans well on heavy duty setting.

It was great at first, but now it gets halfway through a wash and quits. We did some research and learned it was the drainage. We did everything to fix it, yet its still doing it. My husband has to unscrew it from the counter every night and manually dump water from the well. I am on here now to buy another, but it will not be Samsung.

Was good but stopped cleaning good and now got stuck with 2 lights on and doesn't do anything, I tried everything but nothing works

The dishwasher worked well for the first few months, after that it gradually got worse and worse. It got so bad that we could run it 3 times and the dishes would still not be even close to clean. Now less than three years later we have thrown it out and purchased a Kitchenaid that is MUCH better. Do yourself a favor and completely avoid this terrible dishwasher!

Love this dishwasher. Though, now am having problems with a sensor going bad. Working with Samsung and Best Buy to fix the problem.

I usually love Samsung products. Every Best Buy technician I've spoken to about the problems with this dishwasher has indicated that Samsung dishwashers are horrible and to avoid them. The dishwasher had to be fixed three times within 3 years and the last time we were told it was unfixable. Don't waste your money.

This is my second Samsung dishwasher. I bought this one for my first and second home together with all other Samsung appliances. The first one did not make it pass 2 years causing major leak and bottom cabinets water damage. The second one is 6 months old and fingers crossed if it can make it pass 2 years. Obviously it makes it pass the first year for the warranty to be out. I had a strong feeling about Samsung brand but now I doubt I can make them my first choice on my next home or the next purchase.

REALLY disappointed that this dishwasher is not compatible with Samsung SmartThings, like this site claims that it is. I'm sure it's a fine dishwasher otherwise, I was just looking forward to the smart connectivity.

When this dishwasher works, it works great. Cleans really well. I purchased this 3 years ago. It had a faulty leak sensor which caused it to have to be serviced three times until the sensor was just replaced altogether. Now, the control board has to be replaced. I am debating just buying a new (different) dishwasher instead.

I bought this dishwasher 15 months ago for a vacation house. It has been used less than 30 times and has already broken down and needs an expensive part replaced I will not buy Samsung again. Also, while quiet, even the quick cycle took more than an hour.

We've owned this for over a year. In that time it's failed multiple times for weeks at a time. We bought it right before the holidays to replace an older dishwasher. We got it professionally installed, and then within 3 weeks it failed to start at all. We got a repairman to come out and fix the faulty connection. They also pointed out that you have to be REALLY careful about prewashing food, as any food debris can cause this to clog up and fail. So we then had it working for about 3 months. And then the leak sensor triggered. No visible leaks, no issues with debris, nothing. Just...supposedly triggered. We read that this is a common issue and that drying it out would work - and after a couple of days and repeated breaker turnoffs that worked. That happened again several times for the next 6 months. It was annoying, but it wasn't insane. Keep in mind that to keep it even marginally functioning you have to make sure it is incredibly clean, clean off all debris, and don''t overload it at all. Finally, right after warranty (1 year) it appears to have sprung a major leak in the motor area. Getting repairs also is something of a nightmare; it took over a month for the first time.
