Extremely Quiet!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best part about this washer is that you can have a conversation right next to it when it's running. The buttons and controls are a little tricky to use, but worth it for how quiet it is.

Great purchase

Samsung customer service is awful.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Kick plate was missing. Samsung would not send me a new one because it was past 30 days from purchase (I explained it was not installed upon delivery because the kitchen was being remodeled - it sat in my living room for a month before we had plumber install it). After talking to several people.at Samsung for over 2 hours, I got nowhere. The part was only 10 bucks but I had to pay for it. So it wasn't the money - just the fact that they really don't care about you. Last Samsung product I will ever purchase.

Good product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This dishwasher is extremely quiet when running and easy to operate, with easy external buttons to push to select desired wash. Auto feature is nice, set it and forget it. If you are not a handy person, you may need to hire help installing this, as there is no connxted water line or electrical, resulting in the need to wire it yourself and plumb the water line. Construction appears sturdy thus far in the few months of ownership but time will tell.

Very quiet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this as a part of a new set. When installed, the technician turned it on to a quick rinse and compared to my old one, I didn't even realize it was running. I was really amazed. I can't wait to fill it up with dishes and try it out.

Better performance from cheaper models
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited to get a new dishwasher when I remodeled my kitchen last summer. Unfortunately, this Samsung dishwasher has left me somewhat disappointed. Cons: Not a lot of space in the bottom rack. Items must be carefully positioned to allow the detergent door to open when activated by the cleaning cycle. The silverware catchers are cheap, and do not stay attached to the bottom rack frame. I still haven't figured out how to restart the washing cycle, when adding a dish after starting a load. Seems it would just resume washing after closing the door, but this model does not, and I've had to restart from the beginning too many times now. I don't even bother any more. Never seems to get the dishes completely dry. Lots of water left on dishes, even after the "heated dry" cycle runs. Pros: Seems to clean the dishes pretty well, which is the most important thing. Relatively quiet model, for the price-point. Summary: Aside from the modern look and attractiveness of this unit in our kitchen, the functionality leaves a bit to be desired. I had a standard kitchen-aid base model in the kitchen, purchased 5 years prior, that I was thrilled with in every regard, except for aesthetics. I wish this Samsung had at least a comparable operation in regards to the cons I listed above.

Great Buy!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am SO pleased with this purchase. My husband said it was a fairly simple install. This dishwasher beats our old One by leaps & bounds. It has two wash arms (lower & upper). Dishes get nice & clean. The controls are easy to use. It even has a control lock so little ones can't just push buttons. The sanitize feature is GREAT and it is SO quiet when it's running.

JUNK! Broke in 3 months and TERRIBLE service.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was so excited to get new appliances for my kitchen in my new house. Of course I purchased samsung which now I really regret. I had this dishwasher for 3 months and the computer in it went out. It actually ran for 14+ hours on "Heavy"(did not set it on that cycle) and drained all of my hot water, and ran my electric and water bill up like crazy. It wouldn't shut off until I unplugged it. And as soon as it was plugged back in it started running again even with the door open. I called best buy and they said they only cover the first 30 days so I was transferred to Samsung. They said they would get a technician to come out asap. Next day...no call from anyone...third day no call...I called samsung again. They gave me the repair company's name and number and its no longer in service. Day 4 no call from anyone and I call samsung again and this time they tell me they will try to find someone else but it takes 2 days to process the request...I was livid. So customer service rep did not care at all about my frustrations. I am so disappointed! Ive had other products from samsung for a few years and no issues but now knowing how they handle repairs I will NEVER purchase from them again. This dishwasher is a piece of garbage!

Don't buy this dishwasher.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is quiet and looks nice, but that's about where the positive ends. My dishes were wet and cloudy with white spots. Worst of all was the stench of rotten fish that permeates the air with each cycle.

Stay away from Samsung dishwashers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought a Samsung dishwasher from Best Buy three years ago for a cabin in north Georgia used only in the summer. It stopped working in May. Six repair companies refused to come look at it. Then, an authorized Samsung technician failed to show up a month ago. A second company -- also authorized -- was scheduled and then called to say they were no longer working with Samsung. The repair folks said the dishwashers were terrible, the company was not great on technical support and parts were hard to get and pricey. I escalated the issue to a Samsung customer service supervisor and he ultimately sent me to Sears Repair Service as he couldn't get anybody else. The guy just left -- he said the main control board and the pump were bad and it would $780 in parts. He noted the dishwasher looked brand new -- probably used 50 times. Tomorrow, it goes in the trash and I buy a reliable Whirlpool. The general view of the repair folks was Samsung has not mastered dishwashers. My experience bears that out. While it worked, it was fine and quiet. This one probably came with bad parts but the warranty expired after 2 years and it stopped worked in 2.5 years. So again, stay away. When so many repair companies flat out tell you, "We don't work on Samsung dishwashers," you know there is a problem.

Stay Away
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.saw this in store while i was in the market for a dishwasher. I knew the features and style of Dishwasher i was wanting and found them in this Product, at about a 200 dollar savings. I figured it was a Samsung , and even though i hadn't looked up this unit, it couldn't be too bad, for the price. Installed and ran this unit and was amazed it worked great, quiet, and cleaned awesome. I looked at the reveiws for this unit during this time, and figured maybe it was just a bad run that caused all the Leaks and other problems. On the 30th day from purchase the dreaded leak error code began. The tech whom came out to check it informs me that this unit wasnt just leaking, it was leaking from the main motor of the unit. Save yourself some trouble and do like i did, exchange this unit for a better one, or better yet just plain old skip samsung dishwashers.

Quiet and sensitive
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After lots of research, I thought I had a great dishwasher. I am not pleased. The dishwasher IS very quiet and that is good. It looks great. But it doesn't clean dishes well. The tines for the dishwasher rack aren't very forgiving. Our larger sized plates and bowls don't fit right at all and we can only clean half the # of plates at a time. I've checked water pressure and we're sufficiently above the water pressure minimum. I'm not happy with this purchase.

Great when it works!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this dishwasher about four months ago, when it is working it cleans better than any dishwasher we have ever had. Unfortunately, it has broken down on us multiple times. It didn't make it a week, before the first break down. Best Buy recommended that we swap it out with a replacement unit, since we may have a defective one. I agreed and a new unit was brought out. The second unit worked for about 2 and half months before it developed a leak around the turbidity sensor. We had bought the Geek Squad protection plan and they came out to perform the service in a reasonable amount of time. Now, just barely after a month since the last repair, the unit has broken down again. Geek Squad was out today and found another part had failed and began to leak. I have always enjoyed the quality of Samsung products prior to this purchase. My family uses their phones and TV with much satisfaction. That was the main reason for going with this dishwasher and it had good reviews. I am highly disappointed in this unit. I am just glad I bought the Geek Squad protection plan as it has already paid for itself and then some. P.S. The technician that has provide the service work has been outstanding. The only bright spot in this episode.

Decent
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I LOVED this dishwasher when I first got it. About 3 weeks later it starts doing things on its own, like turning on in the middle of the night. Had to return it for a new one.

Absolutely the worst appliance I've owned
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned this dishwasher for five years and have had it repaired 2-3 times per year. I had luckily bought the five year warranty through Best buy and now I am into the 3 year extended warranty. Although I asked about a lemon rule I was told there was not one but I recently found out there was one. Not only the worst appliance I have owned but the worst customer service I have every received. The repair people who have come from The Geek Squad as well as two private companies the Geek Squad contracted out have all be very nice but I have probably missed two weeks worth of work since owning this dishwasher just due to scheduled repairs.

Improvement from my last Dishwasher
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old DW stopped working and I quickly had to get a replacement. I was checking out Samsung as I recently replaced my over the stove microwave with a Samsung. So far it's great! I can fit much more inside. The design is better then my old Whirlpool (12 years old now) Dishes come out clean, and I do not have to prewash (as much) prior to loading into the dishwasher. PLUS: It is huge inside and adjustable rack. Also the dishwasher itself is longer and is open closer to the floor. You need to bend down lower to load the bottom rack, but it is worth it for the extra space compared to the old one. CONS: The heated dry is not that hot. My old DW used to dry super hot. Dishes are often still wet after the cycle is completed. The plus side on this is that it doesn't melt my plastics.

Very quiet, doesnt dry well
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, i love this dishwasher. For the price, it was really nice. All stainless steel was the look that we wanted but be aware that this picture on bestbuys website is inaccurate becasue the hottom kick plate is actually black. We considered returning it but it was so much hassle to do that especially when we had problems for the first delivery date. Super quiet but seems like the drying fuction isnt working as well as my previous one.

Already broken
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this dishwasher in October and it worked well, quiet got plates and botom rack good and clean. Not so much cups on the top rack but bowls and stuff, it does need jet dry and the sanitizer option selected if you wish to not towl dry. The issue is less then 100 days of owning and use its already crapped out on me. Sure warranty means that after a week of no dishwasher I get a repair guy coming out but aren't these things built to last a least a year?

No Complaints out of me!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We recently replaced our kitchen appliances and selected this dishwasher. It is super quiet (as compared to the 2014 GE model we had at our old house), also the run time doesn't seem as long. We have been really happy with it. I will say, the only thing that I do notice is the plastic tupperware doesn't dry, but I don't remember ever having these items come out dry!
