It has an annoying black spot (about the size of a dot sign) on the top left corner of the screen. It's highly unlikely not to be detected by the quality control of Samsung. When I returned it to a Best Buy store, the associate found the serial number on the monitor and the package are not the same. That explains why the monitor I received is defective--it's not the brand new monitor I purchased but was mysteriously replaced with another one. It may be unintentional, but how and why the original package of a new monitor contains a defective monitor with a different serial #? My concerns go beyond the mysterious mispackaging. The store associate who handled my return was very rude. I don't mind being asked for a reason for return and actually stuck a note explaining the reason on the screen before I returned it, though I was a little bit surprised when she asked me for a reason. However, the associate tested the monitor wrongly and questioned my reason. She plugged the monitor into a power outlet. Then the monitor was pure black. She said that there's no black spot on the monitor. Of course, the black spot can't be seen on a black screen. When it's connected to a desktop, a black spot will be seen anytime as long as the screen is not pure black. Isn't it common sense, at least for a worker at a tech store? Moreover, when she found the serial number on the monitor is different from that on the package, she looked at me suspiciously as if it’s all my fault. I realized at that moment that the monitor I received was replaced with another one before arriving at my door for whatever reason. I didn’t get what I paid for but was blamed for it. She was impatient and didn’t listen to me at all. I got a refund but was insulted. I was fooled and disrespected from the purchase to the return. I missed other Thanksgiving deals on monitors by trusting Best Buy. Very disappointed! How can Best Buy treat customers like this?

With the low bezel and great image quality this monitor fit the bill. The price was also awesome ($89.99 on sale) for a Samsung monitor.
