Then I switched it out and there are still dead pixels, for a company as big as Samsung to sell monitors like this with barely any quality control is appalling. For the price point, it is great value, on paper. However the actual quality of the monitor is no where near the quality that would be expected for Samsung. Maybe I got two lemons but the fact that there are other people that also have dead pixels, even after the first purchase is unacceptable. Pros: Cheap, barely noticeable IPS glow. Cons: God awful quality control, you will have to wait pretty long to actually get one, pretty cheap build (expected for its price point)

And... the monitor tilts downward toward the desk. There is no tilt. Not an acceptable angle to work with. The stars were for the display....comes in beautiful. Returning this monitor to Best Buy.

One is now completely dead and the other shows faint colored lines across the screen. Faced with the frustrating choice of replacing only the dead monitor with this replacement knowing the disappointing quality and longevity or buying two new monitors from another brand (and pointlessly creating additional e-waste due to bad quality products).

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.we purchased this monitors 3/23/2023 from the beaverton, oregon store...set it up, turned it on. all it did was flash...flash...flash. had to unplug it to turn it off. so the next day we took it back to the store, had geek squad look at it, same thing happened...it was determined to be defective. so they took that monitor back & gave us a new one, same samsung monitor on 3/24/2023. geek squad guy said it would be unusual for the 2nd monitor to have problems... used it over the next 4-5 days...the toggle to do any adjustments or power off worked about 50% of the time, at best. so...returned it for a full refund on 3/29/2023, purchased an HP monitor which...so far...works great (fingers crossed!). (not sure if this will show up as a verified purchase or not. this is the first time we've shopped at best buy in years, we reactivated our account but all of our purchases still haven't shown up yet...)

I program a LOT on this display, and my IDE is burned into the bottom of my display. At first i was thinking it was an artifact from my graphics card, until i navigated the display menu, and noticed the artifact on top of the menu. Horrible quality control.

The monitor screws were missing

It arrived fast from Bestbuy and I was so excited to set it up. The monitor arrived without the screws to the mounting base. I now have to take a trip to the hardware store and see if I can find some screws that work or wait 2 weeks for the manufacturer to send me two screws. This is a hassle and I would just recommend that you go with another brand.
