I wasn't sure I had turned it on at first. Very quiet...

Love my new dishwasher. Sometimes I wonder where I left the water running because that is the only noise I ever here from it when not right in front of it. No longer need to turn off the dishwasher when talking on the phone.

I very satisfied with my purchase of this dishwasher. Cost a bit more than some but worth it.

Unfortunately, I have had trouble with this unit since it arrived. This first unit (which was determined to be defective after the installers installed it) in addition, the installers did not know how to properly hook it up and it leaked all over my kitchen cabinet (and into the finished basement). The second unit, the installers punctured the drainage hose and again I was left with a major leak in my kitchen. Finally (after 3 weeks of no dishwasher and several calls to Best Buy) had someone repair the damage to my home and replace the drainage hose. I have only used the unit twice and both times the dishes still appeared to be dirty. I have tried the Normal and Smart Wash Cycles. Maybe next time I will try the Heavy cycle. If you get this unit, find someone else to install it, Best Buy techs have no idea what they are doing.

Broke down over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and I’ve had to stay at home multiple times for repair ( which was great) can’t wait for my reaceo

I love the performance & looks of my new dishwasher. Everything comes out clean & the inside SS tub looks great after each wash. I was concerned about residue & smell but I have been proven wrong.

I hope Samsung has built a reliable dishwasher. I have only used it once since it has just been delivered. My previous Maytag only lasted 1 1/2 years when the motherboard shorted out and the company would not offer any assistance. This time I also purchased a two year warranty with Best Buy's Geek Squad.

Replacing 10 yr. old Maytag dishwasher that was inefficient in cleaning dishes (dishes came out dirtier than when they went in). Repair part costs exceeded the amount for new machine. What I Like: This machine is very quiet. Barely hear it running. Stainless steel interior, Touch pad (no dials), In-unit food disposal, 3 level wash, Great job cleaning. Good drying. Nylon racks. No exposed heating element. What I don't like: The tines on the dish racks seem too close together to place bowls and larger items efficiently, takes up more space than need be. But this may take some experimenting by me changing placement of items around. I'd give this dislike only a -.25 of a star, since this might be rectified by me and has no bearing on the function ability of the machine. I also found the rack glides to be a little flimsy than I was used to, again personal preference. I wish this model had a delay setting. Installation: We installed ourselves. If this is your first install, I highly recommend getting a professional. The electrical hook-up had to be modified from our existing set up and required a little more know how than average. Accessing the water supply and the electrical were a little difficult. Cleaning/Efficiency: I'd rate this a 9.5 out of 10. Very efficient, very quiet. As per instructions, I scraped plates of debris but did not rinse them. Dishes and glass wear came out clean and clear of spots. A rinse aid is suggested by the mfg, so I used one. Utensil basket is off to the side, which I like. I purposely loaded the machine with a heavily soiled glass measuring cup, peanut butter coated knives, heavily soiled and dried on glass baking dish- All came out clean. Have not tried pots or pans. Not a perfect rating because I don't want to depend on a rinsing agent. Side Notes: Product arrived quickly and we installed ourselves. Our first test run revealed a broken fan during the drying cycle, blades rubbing and noisy. Best Buy picked up damaged unit, and installed new one. Exchange and return was no problem at all with Best Buy staff. No problems with the new machine. Great Dishwasher - Highly recommend. (This Samsung dishwasher is my third Samsung kitchen appliance - I also have refrigerator and microwave. I've replaced over 18 years: 4 GE Microwaves, 1 GE dishwasher, 1 Maytag Dishwasher, I Kenmore fridge, 2 washer/dryer's - All American made. LOVE LOVE LOVE Samsung appliances!!)

It has a kinda smell to it, but maybe it just needs to used more.

I like the black exterior. Not the high end but it does the job.

I just love my dishwasher, no noise, and has extra cleaning system which it also kill bacterias around the machine. My husband acknowledged right away, how wonderful what I bought, the quiet machine as if it is not running.

Appears to be a good basic dishwasher. I'm still trying to learn how to stack dishes in it, so I'm not commenting on that design yet. Let's see if I can get used to it and make sense of their design choices. Controls are easy to learn and use. Seems to wash dishes well. Note, however, that i still rinse all my dishes. I still don't understand how much a dishwasher will scrape off the plate, so I just do it myself and sponge it down before loading it. That may filter my comments. I don't like the way the racks push back into the dishwasher after loading. I am constantly running it off the track and have to stop and reset the angle and c-a-r-e-f-u-l-l-y push the rack back into the machine. (I am not rough in handling the racks, so I consider this a design flaw.) Minor problem, but irritating. It is not a very noisy machine, much better than the one it replaced. I am generally pleased with it, but if you look at it in the store, push the racks in and out several times and see if that is going to be a problem for you. I'd still recommend it. Cant see paying $800 to $1,000 for a stupid dishwasher and it seems to be a fairly decent dishwasher for the price. I'd rather buy a horse.

i think once I figure the best loading I will really like it.

This unit installed very well and looks great. Has a good solid metal frame and washer housing. Now for the problem. After one wash cycle it went is a warning mode with a light flashing. Took several phone calls to get stuck on hold. Went into Best Buy and they finally got it set up so we can get a appointment to get it looked at. Service guy was great, found a problem and seemed to work well till he left. So far issue still not resolved. Making another call today.
