Broke in the first 4 months

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought this dishwasher in September and ended up having to call the warranty company just 4 months later on New Years Eve due to an error code and loud beeping when nearing the end of a cycle. When I called they told me the error code is showing that the heating element is going out, and the dishwasher isn't reaching proper temperature to sanitize the dishes. We always basically fully wash the dishes before putting them in, always make sure to do small loads to avoid over crowding it, and clean out the filter regularly, and it still broke. It also never gets our coffee mugs clean. It leaves a gritty substance inside of them which is wierd considering we rinse them well before putting them in. Samsung warranty is replacing the parts for free, but I am worried about future problems after the 1 year warranty is up considering it's already giving us problems just 4 months into owning it. It's not a reliable product. Ad we wont be purchasing it again. As far as design goes, we also don't like the peg placements. Cups don't fit well in really any of the upper rack sections, and the area for cereal bowls doesnt hold them up and let's them fall over on each other.

No. The "normal" light keeps flashing, which I was told indicates a leak. I contacted Samsung who came to my house and told me that Best Buy installed it incorrectly. After 5 months of fighting with Best Buy to get someone to look at it (they sent 5 techs to my house to look at it, but every time, they had the wrong work order and couldn't help. Mind you, I took 5 days off of work to meet the techs.) Finally got someone to actually look at it from BB and was told that it's actually an issue with the dishwasher itself. Samsung came back out, but needed to order a part. Came back with the part and got it working. About a month later, the "normal" light is flashing again. In the 7 months I've had this piece of crap, it has worked for about a month and a half.

Great dishwasher

The glasses came out crystal clear. I held a glass from this dishwasher and one from my old dishwasher up to compare and the difference was stark. I am no longer putting away dishes while "inspecting" them to make sure they are really clean. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.
