But on the very first time I used it, it makes a terrible noise - it is defective. Now it is too late to return it, so I have to go through the warranty from manufacturer Out of fairness, I have also a Samsung dishwasher at another place, and it works great, like a clock, and super quiet.

I read some complaint about the dishes not being dry... They are correct, but after a week of washing it now drys as advertised! The wash is so strong it blasted the writing off some cups. I highly recommend.
