Poor loading Takes to long Baskets hard to pull Sliver ware trays suck

We purchase this dishwasher 9/2020. Within 2.5 years it needed to be replaced. The service person said he sees it all the time with the Samsung dishwashers.

Its smaller than I had expected. I bought it online

Leaves dishes with food waste. Difficult to use with buttons inside.

I’ve had two of these and they absolutely do not dry whatsoever.

So loud, feels like it's made very cheap. Dishes are not as my previous dishwasher. I do no recommend this. Spend money on a quality dishwasher.

Absolutely WORST dishwasher I have ever had!!!! Had Samsung out twice, was going to call again but too hard to schedule an appointment. Tech insinuated it was my fault it doesn’t work correctly. Trying my best to put up with it (6 months now), having to take steel wool to get remaining crud off my dishes and silverware! Apparently have no options to replace it! Would not recommend to anyone!

Great price and works so well! Super quit and efficient! Super easy to install into an existing opening for a dishwasher.

Overall a good machine. Fairly quiet, you know it’s running but noise is not overwhelming. Can’t really hear it from next room over. Pros: cleans well, looks good. Cons: water hook-up is in back of machine, nice to have it up front to see if any leaks, you need a 3/4” to 3/8 dishwasher hook-up. Be nice if it was supplied with washer, would have saved me a return trip to store. Not fond of the door top controls, purchased because of price.

It’s not the best dishwasher I’ve owned. The dishes usually come out wet. I always pre-rinse, but they still come out dirty on the quickwash. I always end up using the longest drying. Overall, it’s ok. It’s just not amazing. And the soap dispenser box started giving me issues after about 2 months.

It works fine, but don’t fill it up. Leave plenty of space between dishes/silverware or things won’t get clean. We use the best detergent we can find which at the moment is Cascade Platinum Plus and Jet Dry Rinse Aid. We pre-rinse more than we should and run the dishwasher on Heavy setting all of the time. Doing this makes the dishes generally come out clean. Also our water is not hard (not mineral heavy), so we have a completely reasonable environment for a dishwasher to work well. Pros: Cleans fine when loaded to about 1/2 capacity and a high quality detergent is used as long as it is set to Heavy (and dishes have been pre-rinsed) Cons: The soap dispenser gets stuck routinely not releasing the soap. Solution, re-run the load. The dishwasher claims a higher capacity than normal. Though it fits in the same space as a normal dishwasher. They did this by making the rack tines close together. You can technically fit more dishes close together. However they are so close together than it seems water can’t get in all of the spaces to clean the dishes. Solution, leave spaces between dishes so now it holds about 1/2 capacity and we end up running it about twice as often. Each load takes forever. Running on Heavy is the only way to be sure most of the dishes will be clean when the load is finished. But this takes hours. So we often run a load after breakfast/lunch and another after dinner. High pitched squeal! The dishwasher is overall quiet. But when the pump is on it emits a terrible high pitched squeal. Solution, start the dishwasher and then leave the kitchen for a couple hours. The racking is terrible. Not just the tines being spaced too close to be effective. The engineers tried something that could be nice, they made some of the racking collapsible to fit larger items. However these tines often collapse on their own becoming more trouble than their worth. Ours has also had several internal rust bumps start, they are rusting from the inside out. We can’t see any missing coating, but the rusting has started already. Door seal leaks. It’s a hinge problem. There are 2 screws on the door for each hinge that keep the door in place and the seal tight. These screws come loose. Be sure to check them on occasion, because you don’t notice they’re loose until there is water on your floor. Hopefully you have tile, we have hardwood. Warranty isn’t real. Samsung claims a great warranty! One (1) Year All Parts and Labor, Five (5) Years Printed Circuit Board, Racking. Lifetime Stainless Door Liner & Tub for leakage. This all sounds great! However, nothing it is actually covered beyond 1 year. We have brought up all of the problems listed above with Samsung. The soap dispenser issue isn’t an issue according to Samsung, I guess I can see their point. Just drop the pod in the main tub area rather than using the dispenser. We don’t like to do this so we still take our chances with the soap dispenser door and occasionally have to run the load twice. The high pitched pump squeal might have been warranted during the first year, but we didn’t let them know until the second year, so it’s considered cosmetic or maintenance, which are non-covered items. I asked how to maintain the pump, there are no instructions on what kind of maintenance I should be doing. The answer was not an answer but changed to say that noise is cosmetic, so it’s just something to live with. It felt like they were going through a list of how-to-not-warranty excuses. Racking is NOT warranted. Ignore the clear line in the warranty that says otherwise. Our previous old (10+year) dishwasher interior and racking looked great. We remodeled our kitchen and changed our old GE dishwasher for this Samsung dishwasher. This dishwasher still looks good on the inside and outside, but the racking began rusting within a couple years and that’s just life. Don’t bang your head trying to get this covered with Samsung. Any problems with racking are cosmetic or maintenance. Door seals that leak are covered for a fee. There is always a fee for Samsung and their warranty. Check the hinge screws first and often, this should be called out by Samsung as a routine maintenance item. We bought an appliance package. The range is also having some problems, the fridge has had some work (at some cost to us) and the microwave has already been replaced. Before buying we were warned against Samsung as the store has had plenty of warranty complaints. We took the advice with a grain of salt and purchased Samsung anyway. Wish I would have listened. As much as I don’t want to toss appliances, I’m afraid this dishwasher has been designed for a much shorter life than our previous dishwasher. We’re already looking at other brands to replace this. If you’re reading this, you might do the same. Note to Samsung: If you’re going to post under this review with a generic, “Please contact our support…”, you’re clearly saying to everyone reading that you’re not reading. I’ve already tried with your support team. You’ve trained them well on how to pass the buck.

It’s a good dishwasher so far - main annoyances have been that its a little noisy when the cycle is running and the racks just seem pretty cheap. Overall it’s good and solid price.

Fell apart within 2 years, tub is rusted , both top and bottom rack are rusted and crusted falling off , doesn't properly drain Tub soap does not dispense at every cycle So disappointed Money wasted I'm never going to buy Samsung amever again I am slowly replacing all my Samsung appliance, fridge and dryer stopped working This is heartbreaking I have Kiddos and no dryer no fridge So heartbroken
