DO NOT PURCHASE, DEFECTIVE UNIT
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Watch the video, the dishwasher had this issue within one month of operation, and AGAIN within 10 months of having the part fixed. (Unable to post video) I purchased this dishwasher in August of 2017 and it has yet to properly function for a full year by itself after having the same part fail TWICE. After one month of use the fan on the front door (which runs constantly) started making the very loud humming/scratching sound you can hear on the attached video. Called Samsung and they replaced the part within a couple months of the initial issue through their warranty. All was good until 10 months later when the SAME PART FAILED AGAIN. Having the same part fail MULTIPLE times within the same year, you would think they would replace the defective unit, think again. Samsung only covers their replaced part for 3 months and it was past its one-year mark from purchase (even though the dishwasher hadn’t operated for a year by itself). After a couple emails back and forth they offered to replace the part. However, the technician from their contracted appliance repair company could NOT order the part from them. Samsung closed the ticket saying it was repaired and the customer service I had been working with is now trying to get me to contact other departments/people saying they can’t help anymore. Four months later I still have a Defective dishwasher because the part that had already been replaced once, FAILED AGAIN, and is no longer available through Samsung. I don’t understand how they can still be selling this dishwasher. Do NOT Buy. Side note: All the appliances in my kitchen are Samsung. After my experience with their customer service and the Samsung won’t stand behind their products that fail multiple times within one year of operation, I don’t see myself purchasing a Samsung appliance again.

Does the Job
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We've had the dishwasher for a month and we have nothing but positive experiences. The dishwasher has four different cycles and three options to dry. Dishes go in dirty and come out clean and dry. I like the feature of the anti leak function. It will shut the unit off if it detects a water leak from inside. The stainless steel finish makes it a great addition to the kitchen.

One year later I regret this purchase
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought an entire suite of Samsung appliances for my kitchen remodel, because I trusted the brand. I can confidently say that this dishwasher is the worst that I have ever owned. After the first month, it started making very loud noises from a pump failure. It took multiple calls and emails before finally getting someone to fix it. I was told over and over that the noise was normal by the folks on the customer service line. I couldn't get them to go "off script" long enough to even understand the issue. An email with the threat of reporting to the BBB finally resulted in a tech being sent out, who walked in, listened to the noise for less than 10 seconds, and stated, "yea, it's the pump. They are all bad on this model, and we've been replacing them for months". Why I had to work so hard to convince someone it was broken is still a mystery. Now, a year after owning it, I have the following issues. 1- dishes constantly come out unclean. I have resorted to washing my dished prior to putting them in the dishwasher, which is ridiculous. On any average cycle, I find at least 30% of the dishes/utensils have to be rewashed by hand. I have tried multiple different detergents and drying products with no change in the results. 2- The layout of the dish racks is not well planned out. The spaces in the lower rack are too closely spaced, resulting in plates touching each other, leading to poor wash results. The top rack is not well designed to hold normal glassware, so I am constantly having to reconfigure the way I load it to accommodate a standard load. I literally curse about how much I hate this machine every time I load it. Currently checking my warranty to see if there is anything I can do to get rid of it and replace it with a dishwasher that is reliable, well made, and most importantly... washes dishes.

Quiet but does not dry at all
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This dishwasher is quiet but it leaves my dishes very wet. Called geek squad and was offered sub par help. I guess this is what happens when you purchase appliances from BestBuy. Overall I am not satisfied with this dishwasher or the numerous customer service requests to best buy.

Decent Dish Washer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sump went out after owning for 4 years. Part cost was $250, was not worth repairing. Washed dishes well, did not dry very well.

Cheap Product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do not recommend Samsung, their products are made of poor quality, and brake very easily. I bought a Dishwasher (DW80M2020US/AA) two months ago, and it broke from one day to another. When I checked with the techinician, I was informed that this was because Samsung products are made of cheap materials, which haven’t even been properly assembled. Most important of all, when the Support Services from Samsung inspected the unit in my home, they unilaterally determined that it had suffered a ‘physical damage’ and therefore, the reparation expenses wouldn’t be covered by the warranty. Needless to say that the so-called damage, was ‘internal’. I have spent countless hours on the phone with them, and it was an absolute waste of time. Don’t buy dishwashers from them; better go to Whirlpool, or any other ‘serious’ brand. This is the Samsung Ticket [4144170657], in case you want to prove that this is a REAL review.

Day 1 = Not confident....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Installed on 4/17/2018 and while the unit is easy to use and super-quiet, it doesn't dry. I ran it empty (no dishes and no cutlery) and it still didn't dry. The (15) year old Kenmore that this unit replaced dried better. Will need to contact BB and/or Samsung.

Nice looking and quiet BUT
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yes, there is a BUT- there is almost always a but. I bought this as part of a package and am pleased with the appliance but it has a manufacturing program issue. The cycles seem to have it dry after rinse then drain which leaves too much moisture for the dishes to fully dry. It would make more since to me at least, if is went wash-drain-rinse-drain- dry. Had it checked out twice by the warranty repair company and they said it’s the was it was designed.

After a year: Like handwashing?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Didn't even last 6 months and I've had a technician come out twice to replace the fan, once without the right part for a thudding sound, twice to replace the pump. The thing flooded under my cabinets and I was using paper towels slid under the cracks for hours furiously trying to prevent my new cabinets from being damaged and they finally agreed to replace it. The Geek squad guy said Samsung sent the replacement fan without screws needed which is why the fan broke again after he replaced it. He put it in anyhow and sheepishly told me that after it broke again. Now I've been waiting over a month for a replacement while handwashing dishes every night for a family of six with four little kids. I've spent at least $70+ on paper dishes while waiting for repairs when taking care of a new baby and washing gets to be too much. Now I've been waiting over a month for someone to get the RA number so I can get another dishwasher. Best Buy says they are waiting on Samsung. Samsung says they gave Best Buy what they need. Handwashing dishes isn't the worst thing in the world, but I paid for the thing. Someone help!

Loud
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very loud and not worth the money. I have had many Samsung appliances break. They are pretty good with warranty claims, but it is pretty annoying,

Very disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this dishwasher because all my other appliances are Samsung and we love them. This was the only model Best Buy had in the store so I bought it. It feels very cheaply made. The racks do not glide on tracks smoothly and are noisy. The racks are set up in a way that makes it difficult to load your dishes. The dishes are clean after running a cycle but not completely dry no matter how long you wait. The inside of the dishwasher is never dry. This dishwasher is loader than our old (5-6 years) Maytag. Not sure we will keep this dishwasher.

Posted .Hello Chris. A humming or low buzzing sound occurs when the drain pump runs at the beginning and end of each cycle. It does this to remove any residual water from the dishwasher, this sound is completely normal. Also, low water pressure will cause the dishwasher to take longer to fill than the washer's electronic controls allow. This results to the dishwasher turning off because it has a programmed fill-time limit that is designed to prevent overflowing/flooding. Water supply pressure must be between 20 and 120 psi (pounds per square inch).^Gaby

Please do not buy!!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Please do not buy this dishwasher. I had this product for less than a year and it is going to the county dump. Yes Samsung has paid me back for this product but dont waste your time. Three visits to fix a dishwasher that is noisy and does not dry completely. I was told it just had faulty electrical panels and wire harnesses. Who wants faulty appliances? The wash cycle takes forever. I'm pretty sure it ran for at least two hours. Then you open the dishwasher to find wet dishes. I was told that because it is a plastic tub that it will not dry correctly. Please I repeat, do not buy unless you would like to be on a first name basis with the repair man. Now on to my microwave issue. UGH

Get what you pay for
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this dishwasher to replace a GE and I was so excited to get it home and try it out. While my dishes are clean, I despise the design of these racks so much. I feel like I can only do about half of what my GE could hold. The bottom rack constantly shifts off track with silverware loaded in it. The design just makes zero sense. It’s so frustrating.

Buyer Beware
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We got this dishwasher as part of a unit, and for the first few months the dishwasher worked just fine. Then we noticed that the inside tubing had started to come off during the rinse cycle. We were still within our warranty so we called and had a tech come out. The reported that it was physical damage caused by us, but if we called and told the rep how the tubing fell off in the middle of a rinse cycle, then they would be able to send a tech out to fix it. So we did that and were told that they could not fix anything as the tech deemed it physical. After waiting weeks to hear back from management our claimed was denied. Customer service was rude, and inconsistent and I would never recommend this cheap product to anyone.
