Freezer door handle defective
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After only one month since delivery of this new refrigerator the freezer door handle came loose and became disconnected from the door. This caused the handle to swing back and forth scratching the door. I had purchased five years protection but was told I had to contact the manufacturer. After asking for a manager I was told geek squad would come out. The tech who came out was very nice, knowledgeable and quite thorough. I'm having a new door and handle installed tomorrow. I wonder what will go wrong next. I'm glad I purchased the protection but truly things like this should not happen after only one month. Growing up we had a fridge for more than twenty years and nothing on it ever broke. Just don't make things the way they used to. Very sad......
