    Bought the extended warrenty. Fridge stopped getting cold 9 months after the extended warrenty expired. I couldn't find someone to work on it. Appearently repairmen don't like this brand. I'm told it will cost more to repair it than I originally paid for it.

    Loud Compressor

    The fridge has done it's job. However, on the third year (6 months before the Geek Squad warrantee expiration) , the compressor always starts up really loud. My kitchen and living room layout is open concept, and I can hear the compressor kick in even when watching a loud movie. Sometimes the vibrating noise goes away after a few minutes, sometimes it takes up to 20 minutes. I reported the issue, and the repair company came 4 times to try to resolve the issue. They say the noise is normal, but it sounds like dropping a bunch of coins on tile floors...constantly. After the 4th attempt, the warrantee expired. I am buying from Costco next time. Exchange for a new unit is much easier after failed repair attempts. That is what happened with my other fridge.

    I loved the features and look of this fridge, but it has been nothing but problems. Had to have this repaired a month after purchasing because the condenser went out. A year later, I am in need of service again due to loud fan noise and inadequate cooling. Called Samsung and they could not find anyone to service my unit and basically told me I’m out of luck, despite my being in warranty. I called around to local appliance repairs and no one in my area will service Samsung refrigerators due to a class action lawsuit against them. I wish I could have my money refunded so I could buy another unit. Will never buy a Samsung appliance again. Save yourself the hassle and go with another brand.

    Stopped working entirely after 4 years

    Liked the fridge initially but water dispenser button broke within the first year. After owning it for 4 years the freezer stopped working and then the fridge went out within a week. No one in our area would service Samsung products which was super disappointing.

    You delivered a refrigerator that does not Work. You send out a delivery team to fix it,which they cannot, And you can’t get a new refrigerator to replace it. Why I would I ever want to do business with you again.

    This refrigerator looks really nice and seems to be a good value but if anything goes wrong it is impossible to get help from Samsung! So if you do buy this make sure to purchase the bestbuy warranty with it.

    This unit had to be serviced after 2.5 years old due to the drain hose/evaporator. I would have expected this product to have a longer life span before needing to be serviced. There are more reviews online now and this is a known problem for Samsung, yet they haven't fixed it.

    So disappointed in this refrigerator. We had it for just over 4 years and the fridge will not keep things cool. We had a repair man out who said that it's a known issue and a design flaw. He could replace the panel/mother board for about $700, but couldn't guarantee it would stay working. We don't even use the water intake. We bought this fridge as a set of 3, the stove is having issues with the lettering falling off at the burner knobs and the dishwasher has a stench to it, after just a couple of days of non use. I've had several people tell us that this brand is junk. I sadly have to agree.

    This refrigerator dents very easily. While I like that fingerprint smudges wipe off easily and the size and functionality is fantastic, the fact that it dents so easily would have kept me from purchasing this refrigerator.
