    We bought this fridge for a new home over the holidays and over all we love it. It's got plenty of space and with a little bit of diluted water/vinegar, the stainless keeps clean easily. The lighting inside is great and we like that it doesn't have any fancy water/ice dispensers on the outside. (We personally like to keep it simple). So, because nothing is perfect, I have to dock a point. I was afraid and very hesitant to get a Samsung fridge due to all of the reviews and reports I found over the internet about them making popping and cracking noises. Well, it's true. Although ours is not AS BAD as some of the You Tube videos out there, it's noticeable and can be annoying at time. The noises are random and have no bearing on whether the ice maker is on or off. I have to sleep with my room door closed because the noise does bother me at night (I don't hear them with the door closed and the fridge is about 20 feet away). Over all though, we think it's great and it suits out needs. For the sale price we got and the reward points we got after the purchase, we definitely think it was a good purchase. If you are OCD and noises bug you, then do not get this fridge. Oh yeah, and also the installers were very knowledgeable and gave us some tips about it. Like supposedly, in Florida the "Energy saver" option actually shortens the fridge's life. Not sure if it's true but better safe than sorry.

    Worse purchase I have ever bought from Best Buy, this Samsung refrigerator broke down after a year and I had hell trying to get Samsung to fix merchandise, it took over 2 months to finally have the refrigerator replace. Samsung electronics is awesome however their appliances are awful.

    Bad refrigerator for anyone

    I purchased this in January. By May I already have had a service call for this fridge - ended up having to put in a new compressor. Fast forward 4 months and the same thing is happening. Called Samsung and so far getting the run around. Save yourself the headache and just don't but it.

    I have only had this refrigerator for a month and it stopped making ice. I understand there is a defect and a part must be replaced. We will see.

    I purchased this unit back in 2013 and it already needs to be replaced. The fridge has leaked for years causing water to build up under the drawer and freezing. Water drips all over the floor. Apparently reading about this fridge, it’s a common issue. Stay away!

    Love my appliances however speaking with customer service to fix delivery was horrible. They were rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful.

    Still trying to return it

    I’ve been trying to return this refrigerator ever since it was Delivered. I’ve been on hold for over 10 hours on different calls and when I finally get through the person just hangs up. I just want to get my money back and get rid of this thing. Full of dents and the freezer doesn’t work very well

    Purchased Oct. 5th. 2017 Refrigerator never could go below 35 degrees now today May 26th. 2019 the freezer is dead. We also purchased a Samsung electric stove in which caught fire a day after we purchased it. Stay away save yourself.

    Broken water dispenser. Bad seals. Frost in freezer. Door shelves can get loose when keeping a jug of milk or water. Have had it nunataks under three years. Samsung service is so-so. Do not go with this fridge. Avoid Samsung fridges.

    Was a return model

    Mine was a return model and wasn't checked out first so didn't have very good luck with it. Geek Squad service was well worth the investment, they tried to repair it and was unsuccessful so after I said I was unhappy with the product. They just said tell them to replace it. I did and they did.

    Ice maker does not work. Took over a week to have the repair person come to the house. Merely confirmed ice maker did not work and now will have to order replacement ice maker and reschedule for another time. Totally unacceptable

    Very upset because I purchased another refrigerator and they sold me one that was not working g and went to return it and was promised a new one in 3 days and I kept getting canceled it was 8 times and my fridge arrived a month later
