    HORRIBLE SERVICE

    I had ordered the fridge - 2 weeks before was to be delivered, The fridge was sent 12hours late arriving at 945PM - the driver warned me the fridge was dented, and the supervisor told him to deliver it anyways. Called and complained - was scheduled to have it redelivered the next morning, once again, nothing showed up. Spoke with multiple supervisors who said there was nothing they could do. Finally one said it would arrive that evening - still no fridge and no answers. Called again that night, and no one had any clue where my fridge was, or when it would arrive. One supervisor said well maybe it will arrive tomorrow. WILL NEVER BUY FROM BEST BUY AGAIN. Canceling the order on my Amex and taking business elsewhere.

    Beware! Has known design flaws.

    I bought our refrigerator in Feb 2015 with a 5 yr extended warranty. Soon after I noticed a buzzing sound. Turned out to be ice building up near the fan. This happened twice more within 4 years. I asked to have the warranty extended, but Best Buy said their new policy was not to issue further extensions. I also asked to have it replaced. No luck. So now, naturally 12 days after the warranty expired, I discovered ice build up yet again. Every time they service it, you have to take everything out and let it defrost for 24 hours. A $1700 fridge should last more than 5 years. It should have been replaced.

    Samsung Refrigerators are crap !!!

    Worst refrigerator I have ever purchased. Ice maker stops work 'when it feels like it' and the drain plug (on the back panel inside the fridge section; freezes over and you need to buy a part and watch a youtube video on how to fix it. Samsung told me it's working as expected. I just spent another hour trying to unfreeze the water line to the ice maker. THIS REFRIGERATOR IS THE BIGGEST PIECE OF CRAP I OWN....     Fine until something goes wrong

    Worked ok for 6 years, then evaporator fan died with no indications on the panel, leading my family to get food poisoning. Samsung is cheap junk with lots of features, get something else.

    Poor design and cheap materials

    I have two complaints: First, the refrigerator shelves are impossible to clean - they do not come apart like other models. When you spill liquids, the shelves do not lift out or dissemble, and unsightly stains can't be washed out. My second complaint is that materials for the door shelves are cheap and they are poorly designed. Three shelves cracked shortly after the warranty ran out and needed to be replaced. They are cheaply made, and pretty expensive to replace - $75/shelf. A hunk of money for a fairly new refrigerator, and there is no guarantee the new ones will fare any better.

    As much as i was excited to have a new large fridge It is a big piece of junk. About every 20 minutes or so it pops so loud it sounds like a firecracker. I cant even nap in my living room without being woke up. It is a flaw in manufacturing and the gases in the lines that make the popping sound the contracting of the plastic is not good for the fridge, will probably return and get the westinghouse i looked at.

    Stay away from Samsung

    I purchased this refrigerator less than three years ago and already have to replace it. The back cooling apparatus has iced over and it ran so loudly that I had to cut power to the unit. I guess what you pay for, but don’t waste your money on Samsung. I had to replace a less than one year old Samsung dishwasher because it couldn’t clean a simple load. The oven glass in my oven cracked the first time I ran the cleaning cycle. My Samsung washer had to be bolted down to keep it from exploding! I’m in the process of replacing all of my Samsung appliances. Don’t waste your time or money with Samsung.

    Save Yourself The Headache!!!

    The fridge is fine but it has a design flaw. One year almost to the date of purchasing the fan stopped working. After calling customer service the operator knew exactly what was wrong. The fridge needed to be defrosted. After only one year!...Here we are a couple months later and guess what's already started to happen again? Don't buy this fridge unless you constantly want to remove everything and defrost the whole thing. You could defrost it quicker like me and take all the shelves off, then remove the back panel and chip off all the ice and blow it with a hair dryer. What a chore. Huge disappoint for what we paid. Awful product.

    Noisy fridge

    Periodically this refrigerator makes grinding noises, usually after closing the doors, they last for a few seconds and then go away. It sounds like a fan is spinning up and hitting against something. We called Samsung and they said to level the doors, we tried that and it didn't help. Besides the grinding noise the ice maker also is pretty loud, when it makes an ice cube it sounds like a gunshot. And just recently one of the doors started squeaking when opening it. If you are looking for a refrigerator do not buy this one.

    not a well designed fridge

    This was not the fridge I wanted, but the one I did want was out of stock. After 4 unsuccessful attemots to deliver an undamaged fridge, we were excited to finally get the fridge in the house. We have had it over 4 monthsand a couple of important flaws in design are obvious: The freezerdrawer does not shut and seal properly, so constant problem with freezer icing up, second is the clunking noise every time it kicks on. Space is fine, but with a fridge this size it is expected, nothing positive to add I am sorry to say.

    Samsung Fridge 3 yrs old circuit board failed!

    3 yr old Samsung refrigerator with internal water dispenser and the circuit board has failed due to condensation collecting in the circuit board slot. Ice maker stopped working. Had a very knowledgeable repair technician tell us that Samsung products are not made well and do not furnish good information to repair techs. Purchased from Best Buy in another part of the country to be delivered to present home and that service worked really well. Will buy from Best Buy again as long as they have the other brand we plan to buy and price match

    In 4 years I have had to service this unit 2 times

    I would not recommend this unit unless you are a repairman! I purchase this unit on 1/8/2015 then on 6/8/17 I had to have it serviced as water was leaking and going to the bottom of the fridge and freezing. I didn't notice until water was on the floor. Thankfully it didn't ruin my floors because Samsung wouldn't not have replaced that. They did agree to a 1 time fix for this at their cost. Well today 10/8/2018 I am having the same issue. I guess this fix will be a yearly fix. And the fix isn't cheap because the take off the cooling unit on the inside of the fridge and replace it completely. I wouldn't even recommend this product to my enemy!

    Delivered, installed defective

    Very disappointed after delivery and setup was complete, installers did not verify operation. Water dispenser not working, icemaker grinding with acrid smell from freezer draw. BestBuy best response after delivering a defective product "service has an opening Friday" : Refrigerator was delivered on Tuesday. Very poor response, after sale support is non-existent.

    Faulty and constantly broken

    After 5 breakdowns I'm hoping the geek squad will finally give me my money back so I can buy an entirely new brand of fridge. It has broken down 5 times in a year and a half. It is terrible qualitty. The twin cooling feature is a joke and they admit their product is highly faulty. Wish I did more research. Huge waste of time money and food. Don't buy!

    Worked for 2 years

    It ran great for two years about 6 months ago I stopped cooling both the Fronde and freezer I still had and still have an extended warranty with Best Buy but and they’ve sent 3rdparty companies for repairs and to diagnose problem. They still haven’t fixed it in six months and about 7 trips to my home. I’ve alea purchased most of my electronics from Best Buy but I’m rethinking that after the service.

    Nice Fridge if it worked. Compressor will fail

    The Compressor on this refrigerator failed after 2.5 years. LG subbed out the repair and after a couple months the new compressor failed. I'm in the middle of the drama of trying to get the new one repaired which LG isn't able to do since they have no servicemen in the San Francisco Bay Area, really?

    Junk run from it never again

    at 13 months the ice maker quit needs replaced. Then at a year and a half the fans went out. I did not buy the extended warranty which is my fault but i would off hoped it to last longer than a year and a half. The whole time it was noisy now it will cost about half what i gave for it to repair the fridge and i don't think i will pay to do it. I would be very cautious of reviews off people only having a few months or even days.

    TERRIBLE refrigerator

    I've had this refrigerator for a little over 3 years. It looks nice, but it is a hunk of junk. Continuous problems with water collecting below the deli bin and the ice maker will only work if I unplug the refrigerator for 24 hrs. then it will work for 3 days. I've had it repaired FOUR times and it still doesn't work. DO NOT BUY

    Drainage Issue

    The fridge worked great for about five years, then the drainage issue started. Water accumulates in and underneath the bottom tray. I have to clean it every 3-4 days. I've had three different repair techs come out and each one said its a flaw that cannot be fixed. Do not waste your money on this model!

    Great Refrigerator, but....

    This is my experience. The refrigerator worked great for 25 days until it stopped cooling. It took 5 days to get an appointment from Samsung's 3rd party technician to come by for a free repair. Good bye to my $150 groceries inside the refrigerator. I love the refrigerator, but I lost the confidence in Samsung
