    Love the interior water!

    I think this refrigerator has alot of great features. I like the digital information bar that lets you pick your settings and puts this in an easy access location. The digital lighting is so nice and illuminates everything so it is easy to see everything clearly. I like the bottom freezer with ice maker and it has been greatly appreciated since it has been so hot this summer. One of my favorite options is the cold water inside the refrigerator. This keeps little ones from playing with the water since most can,t reach it.

    Ice maker malfunction

    Ice maker will not drop ice. Water tube continued to provide water to ice maker causing water to overflow and spill into ice container below ice maker causing a sheet of frozen ice. Manually defrosted refrigerator, removed ice from ice maker and ice maker still not dropping ice.

    This is such a great option because the water dispenser is on the inside so if children are around it wont ruin the stainless steel.

    Good Overall Fridge

    We purchased this fridge in a time crunch as our fridge had died. The fridge has a ton of room inside and is laid out quite well. A couple things to note though that were not told to us: (1) The ice maker does have an automatic shutoff in the freezer; (2) The fridge does have a 10 year compressor parts warranty (we were told it did not), and (3) If the water dispenser leaks all you have to do is run the water line for a while to remove air from the water filter.

    Perfect refrigerator for busy kitchens

    I absolutely love the door space (so much room!) I would recommend this style refrigerator (french door without a front water dispenser) for the extra space. We cook a lot, and having everything easily reachable is so convenient, and we definitely don't miss the water dispenser on the front. The stainless platinum is so convenient, being both magnetic and so easy to keep clean. We looked at stainless steel, but every model we was so dirty. This matches pretty well with the other stainless appliances we have, you don't really notice too much. Absolutely the perfect fridge.

    Avoid - flimsy

    Flimsy parts - in less than three years the ice maker, water dispenser and freezer handle have all broken due to flimsy plastic bits breaking. Not a solidly built product at all. Some innovations are nice - the deli tray for example, but it's too fragile.

    Having Some Issues

    I'm glad I bought the protection plan, because we've had the fridge for less than a year and had to use the plan twice. Ice maker broke, and a door shelf broke. The shelf wasn't bumped or anything, just started coming apart. Also, every time you open the freezer drawer, ice tumbles out of the ice maker into the back of the freezer, where it is impossible to reach. Over time it accumulates and prevents the freezer door from shutting correctly, which causes the freezer to defrost. It's not opened enough to trigger the "door open" alarm, but just enough to mess up the temperature. Also, something I didn't consider is that with the wide drawer at the bottom, we have too open both fridge doors to get to that drawer. Wish I had bought a fridge where the entire inside was split, even the bottom drawer, so that I only have to open one door at a time to get what I need. Water filter already needed to be changed after 3 months or so. All in all, I'm disappointed that we spent so much on a fridge and already having issues. Before we bought this Samsung, we had the same refrigerator for 25 years and never had a single problem. It was an old school whirlpool fridge, but it was dependable. This one hasn't been dependable. Positive side, the shelves inside are really strong, they hold a lot of weight, and are very sturdy. Also, because the freezer drawer is solid and not wire, ice and stuff doesn't fall all over my floor every time I open it.

    Nice Packaging but Disappointing

    I spent a long time looking for that right fridge for my new home that matched the space, my needs, my desire for that special blend of design, functionality, and cost. I really thought that I found it in the Samsung RF26 1 BEAESR. Best Buy staff was helpful. Within a couple of weeks, it was decided that I had to have a door replaced. That was certainly a hassle. But I made it past that. Now, in less than 2 years time, I began hearing a loud noise behind the Twin Cooling logo. I called Samsung and was told it was no longer covered and I would need to have a tech come. They said someone would call back. I waited a few days only to get a message that there was no service center anywhere near my home in Maine so there was nothing that they can do. If you are a buyer in Maine, do not buy Samsung products! Perhaps if I had paid a few hundred more for an extended warranty, at least the repair would be taken care of by Best Buy. But is that what we must do to protect us against poor workmanship or against a company that sells products but does not provide service in the state that those sales take place?

    Now I know why they are always on sale

    Stainless steel is nice but all in all it is just a refrigerator. Using a refrigerator thermometer, I found that this unit does not always cool down enough to keep food safe, regardless of what the led readout tells me and I have used three different thermometers. Also, after 11 months of use, three of the door shelves broke off in a two week period and spilled their contents onto the floor and no, they were not overloaded. Customer service said that this is a common problem and that they would send me five additional shelve assemblies Three to replace the broken shelves and two to replace the ones that will soon break I guess. I have one month left on the one year standard warranty and will be returning the unit before then. I figure that after the warranty period expires, I will be purchasing shelving every year for the remainder of the time I own the unit so I might as well cut my losses now. Don't get me wrong, I love the design and all of the features it offers, it's just that a refrigerator should cool to below 40ºF all of the time and not some of the time and shelving should last 15 to 20 years without breaking like my old Frigidaire.

    Just bought this item from Best buy $2099.00 , next week I saw the price is $1399.00 . Since it had price match option I paid 1399.00 only. With this price I will say it is a greatest Refrigerator.

    Great fridge with one drawback

    We've had this refrigerator for a week now and love it. There is however one minor thing that has become and annoyance. This refrigerator does not come with a toe kick panel to cover the front legs! I've contacted Best Buy as we'll as Samsung about it. I think it's crazy that there isn't even one available for sale. Now when I look at the fridge all I see is the front legs and it drives me crazy. Why Samsung decided on this I don't know but I wish I would've noticed before we purchased it. According to Samsung, none of their new models come with the panel and don't have one available for purchase. It may seem minor to most but now that's all I see when I look at it.

    Best bang for the buck

    Searched awhile for our next fridge and decided to go into Best Buy to check out in person. The unit happened to be on sale but I wasn't sure if I wanted internal water and ice. Glad I chose this model. Internal water and ice is just fine, especially with a young child. Shelving is great and the quality appears to be as well.

    Don't waste your money, very poorly constructed

    I bought the Samsung refrigirator less than 2 years ago. A few weeks ago I opened the fridge to get something the side door shelf fell out and broke. The vegetable draw top can't stay in place. Called Best Buy to report the issues because I was told that the plan would cover any damage. They sent this technician over to evaluate the fridge, this guy came in for a very short time and then ran outside for the longest time. When he came back he told me that they don't cover any shelf, repeating himself over and over. He also said that each shelf will cost $50 dollar a piece to replace. He did not take any pictures and gave a false report to the company and they went by what he said. Called Samsung they did not care , they said the unit was out of warranty and referred me to the replacement part department and was told it would cost 200 to replace the parts. For an almost $2000 dollar unit, that is very disappointing. I bought a GE fridge almost 3x much cheaper, and never had that problem, I bought this Samsung unit for more storage, but quality wise it is not worth the price. The most upsetting thing was this technician's false report and the Best Buy supervisor accepted it without any proofs. Last time I buy anything from Best Buy or Samsung product.

    Beautiful highly functional refrigerator

    If you can fall in love with a refrigerator this would be the love of your life. We purchased it in December 2018. I am extremely happy with it. It is beautiful and has everything you could want. All the shelves are movable so you can put together your own configuration. I love the cool select pantry and the sliding shelf. Love the deep shelves in the doors. All in all I could not be happier.

    Poor Design Door Shelves

    Four of the six door shelves have broken in under 2 years. I have not forced any jars into the shelves, everything has just fit nicely but the shelves have either cracked or the tab has broken off. Each shelf is $50 to replace and is not covered under extended warranty. If they are going to break because of how much they hold then they should make them smaller. Also the crisper drawers are designed in such a manner that 2 pieces of plastic fit together so close that food can slip between but there is no way of getting it out!
