For just a tiny bit under 1k (before taxes etc), this is a really good deal. I didn't want a water dispenser, i wanted wide and deep shelves in case i needed to keep oversized trays of food, and i wanted something energy efficient. Got all that in this unit. The only problem was trying to get information on whether it had a built-in water filter for the icemaker, and asking around everywhere; including Samsung CS online (they told me it was at the back), i finally got an answer from someone at Lowe's instead of Bestbuy where it was purchased. So we had to get an external inline filter and hook it up ourselves which wasnt a problem at all. The icemaker does make some noise once in a while but it isnt an issue.

Bought this fridge a couple months ago. Very quiet. Do not hear any strange noises. The only time I hear a noise is when the ice drops which isnt very often. Its everything I was hoping for. Very bright inside and I love the freezer with the drawers at the bottom. Lots of room. This was an exceptional purchase for the 999.00 price. Very satisfied. And the delivery was prompt and courteous. Addressed all my OCD questions and concerns so the fridge was just right.

Purchased this fridge as part of an entire kitchen package. It never got cold from the time it was plugged in. Installers never verified it was working before leaving. Called Samsung and they had me run thru steps to make sure it wasn't in demo mode. Still never got cold. Called Best Buy the next day to request repair or a replacement and they stated they couldn't do either for more than a week. No concern at all that they've just delivered me a fridge that doesn't work. Just giving me the standard schedule times. Tried speaking to managers and even going in store with the same results. If I wanted to buy a new one I could go to the warehouse the same day and pick it up but Best Buy can't figure out how to send one of their contractors to pick it up for more than a week I don't recommend buying your appliances at Best Buy . The difference in price was easily wiped out by my loses in spoiled food and costs to eat out everyday, not to mention the aggravation. Best Buy could use lessons on customer service.

This is an amazing Refrigerator. Massive amount of space, well laid out and every thing is within easy reach. Only complaint is there is not a small drawer for cold cuts/cheese etc. The freezer is massive as well . although the ice maker is slow, it makes nice ice cubes. I am very happy with my purchase and the serviced at best buy. Also kudos to the delivery men , thanks - Great job setting it all up, installing and cleaning up after!

This refrigerator is one year old and almost out of warranty. We chose not to buy the extended protection. Samsung sent a repair person out twice to fix a loud banging noise that occurs frequently even in the middle of the night and waking us up. Apparently, it's design flaw and cannot be fixed and occurs when the fluid behind the frig is moving through the tube. It's a beautiful appearing frig, bright interior, and well designed, but not one I would buy again.

I just needed a sleek-looking, practical, cost-effective fridge and this was a great choice. It feels premium (the doors and drawers work smoothly), looks premium (I have stainless steel products from other brands in my kitchen and Samsung's finish beats theirs), performs well, and doesn't cost a fortune.

This fridge is very pretty and we loved it for 2 years, until it started making noise and stopped cooling. Since we had not purchased an extended warranty, Best Buy was no help, best they could do was schedule a technician in 8 days. We called Samsung, who has no repairman in this state, offered to schedule someone to come from another state in 4 days. My food was getting hotter by the minute and so was I. After reading online, we found many other customers with the same complaints. It seems there is a design flaw, causing the condenser coils to freeze and cause the fan to stop working. The only fix is to remove the panel and defrost it with a hair dryer. Some people report needing to do this every 6 months! Also, the ice maker is poorly designed, causing ice cubes to fall on the floor when the freezer is opened. Don't buy this refrigerator!!!

This is a nice, large refrigerator that can take all leftovers from Thanksgiving and still have room. We like the digital temperature tracker and the bottom freezer options especially.

This thing. THIS THING. My fruits have been amazing, my vegetables have been stupid-crisp, and I think it even plans to run for office in a couple months. It's a workhorse and it performs beautifully! If you're in need of a new fridge, stop thinking about it and just go buy this one. Nobody needs all that fancy "water in the door" or "7 inch plasma screen" nonsense. Do yourself a favor and pick this up.

I bought it on Thanksgiving eve in 2014. It has been a nightmare ever since the first cooling period after delivery. I don’t even use the ice maker function and there are still really loud and random sounds coming from inside the fridge. The sounds are similar to hail hitting windows. It is so loud that it wakes my family up at night from 2 rooms away. We tried calling Samsung’s customer service several times but 1) every representative asks us to repeat the same situation even though they have notes on the complaints before (they only seem to read over the notes after me asking them to reread them), and 2) they told us that “sound problems” were not covered by the warranty. This is the first, and last time, I buy any Samsung products. Obviously, I will continue to call Samsung until I get this problem resolves and update this review once a solution has been found. In conclusion, don’t buy this product unless you have hours and days to waste on calling Samsung’s customer service hotline.

A truly beautiful and well produced refrigerator. Very well insulated -- it kept my drinks too cool in fact and I had to raise the temp after I noticed this. All controls are digital push button. The control panel is well done and solidly built. For that matter, the entire fridge is solidly built. A low-cost unit (occasionally it's on sale for $999 ! -- buy it then! -- as then it blows away anything else for that price). A hair large for my small needs -- make sure you want something this big.

I bought this refrigerator last year. Had problem after problem with it. Samsung has the worst customer service ever! Would not work with me until Best Buy helped out. Samsung offered to replace it after months of service calls but the new one was 400 dollars more and they wanted me to pay the extra. The warranty was taken away from me after 4 months because they offered me a credit. Buyer beware-Don't ever buy any Samsung products!

I highly recommend this product. It has wonderful space inside and it is very nice looking on the outside. I will never buy another side by side refrigerator again.

I've had this refrigerator for about a month and absolutely love it. I got the stainless steel and it is beautiful. It also has lots of room and a huge freezer drawer. Temperature controls and inside lighting is great. Excellent price. Delivery was on time and very professional. I am very very happy with this purchase,

Bought the fridge last week and it works great so far. The sound is minimal compared to my 16 year old GE. The cooling is great. I do not use the inbuilt ice-maker, so no comments on that. The biggest peeve is the stainless steel finish that Samsung decided to put on this appliance. It gets scratched with tiniest of touch of another metal. A complete substandard quality of metal was used in this appliance. Totally not acceptable. On a plus side, the refrigerator, being basic, fulfills all its main duties. On another note, Bestbuy complete play with the reviews. First few of the reviews with glowing 5 * were all made on 12/12/2014. Looks like the second review done by a samsung employee. Totally unacceptable the way Bestbuy rig their review system.

I purchased this refrigerator 5 days ago. On day 2 the freezer was frosted over and has remained that way regardless of the "tips" that were given to me by Samsung. On day 3, the refrigerator has gone from 37 degrees to a constant 48 degree temp. My food now has to be thrown out. I read the reviews online before purchasing and saw that the biggest complaint was that this fridge is very loud. Mine however is quiet for the most part. The other main problem I read about was that the drain freezes over and often causes water leakage problems. None of these problems seemed to be associated with my model number, so I chose to go ahead and buy it given it was at a great price. After I started having these issues on day 2, I read into reviews even further and found that Samsung is in a class action law suit for a faulty design that is causing thousands of people problems with their refrigerator. Thankfully I purchased the extended warranty from Best Buy and they are working on replacing this for me. They have been great thus far in working with me. Do not buy a Samsung refrigerator. Nothing but problems!

The fridge really looks nice and spacious. It wan't as loud as what other reviewers had mentioned. The only issue I have is when you stand close to the fridge, you can feel hot air coming out from its bottom and you can feel it on your feet. I'm assuming it's coming from the compressor, but I wished Samsung had put an eXtra cover at the bottom to help dissipate the hot air.

I purchased this Samsung 25.5 CU. FT. French Door Refrigerator- Stainless Steel at Best Buy and I would not recommend it to anyone. The Refrigerator is building up a lot of ice by the twin cool plus area and the temperature inside the is very warm, and makes the food item inside spoil. I found a lot of water under the drawers and just a lot of frustration. I am totally disappointed with this brand and would never recommend it.

Not sure how the other reviews for RF26HFENDSR/AA missed the glaring fact that the unit does NOT come with water filtration - despite the claim "Icemaker water filtration system: Removes impurities for clean, clear ice. Filter indicator light shows you when the filter needs changing." It should've said "OPTIONAL" water filtration with a disclaimer stating "additional installation required." This is NOT about water filter not included with the unit - I can always buy one myself; This is about the missing information that I need to install EXTERNAL water filtration for the unit. External filtration is NOT considered a part of the unit's integral "features". If I have to install external water filtration separately, then it is no different from any other refrigerator that does not come with a built-in water filtration system. As a result, I feel that I have been misled by the claim that the water for the automatic icemaker will be filtered without additional installation. As a result, the water filter listed under the "Accessories" page (Model: HAF-CIN, SKU: 9923128) is an INTERNAL filter and does NOT work for this unit. Even Samsung's own website contains the WRONG information on installing a water filter for RF26HFENDSR/AA (http://www.samsung.com/us/support/howtoguide/N0000206/883/34040/Y/RF26HFENDSR/AA). I've already spent way too much time trying to track down the correct water filter and installation instruction for this unit. One last thing: A day before I submitted the same review to Samsung's website, the unit had 0 reviews. After I contacted them about this discrepancy, it suddenly had 3 5-star ratings. Be weary of the all the "excellent" reviews. Hopefully this review will not be censored.
