great storage space combined with powerful cooling makes this refrigerator a great value for money.

This fridge is deep and holds so much more than I expected. The ice maker is a hoot. Really need to use an ice bucket as opposed to a glass, because the ice really comes out strongly! But I love it.

This fridge makes some of the strangest noises I've ever heard. Has awful high pitched whine most of the time (to the point I'd like to unplug it just to have some quiet). Then sometimes sounds like there's someone trapped inside that bangs to get out-REALLY loud! (Scared me to death the first couple times it did that.) It seems to run much more often and longer than my 26 year old fridge that it replaced. There is no way to make a shelf tall enough to stand a wine bottle upright; the only place is in the door. (I end up with the door full of heavy items and worry the door hinges will give out; I'd feel better if I could put these heavy things inside on a shelf.) The design for the shelf spacing has only a few options on placement and the height of the shelves, no matter which slot they are in, just don't work so well especially if you have any tall items. The crushed ice dispenser dispenses the crushed ice all over the kitchen! Not sure how it does it as I hold the glass really close but still it manages to spew it everywhere. Also, to keep it cold enough, I have to have it on the highest cold setting (my old fridge was on 3 out of 5 to keep the same cold temp as this one does on the highest.) I probably would not recommend this fridge and if I had the opportunity to do it over, I would have chosen a different model however the price on this was good at the time of purchase. I guess you get what you pay for!

Purchased this refrigerator along with the slew of Samsung Appliances, and although I have never owned a Samsung Appliance, the reviews sold me. Installation was pretty easy, although they tape and plastic wrap EVERYTHING, so spending 10 minutes undoing that is necessary. The refrigerator can/will scratch easy, so place your magnets on the sides of the fridge if possible. The touch buttons took some getting used to, but overall this refrigerator does exactly what we needed it to do, and it does it extremely well.

I purchased this refrigerator 2.5 yrs ago and the ice maker went out already. Aso soon as the ice make went out the fridge stopped staying cold. This cost me $400 to fix and samsung could care less. Samsung should stick with TV's ONLY. DO NOT BUY. The parts for this refrigerator are almost impossible to come by and NOBODY works on them. Buy a name that is known for making quality appliances and not quality TV's. I had to call 10 places until I found one that would work on a samsung.

I really wanted to love this model as it looks great is loaded with features and at a great price. But I had 2 go bad. 1 was defective out of the box, the other went bad after about a week. Regardless of price, features great looks and etc, none of that matters if the unit doest work. As much as I wanted to love this model, it was an EPIC failure. Thankfully Best Buy was very understanding and I now have a GE coming.

I would never buy another Samsung refrigerator! I bought this at Best Buy in 10-2012. It's freezer is too cold! I have seen this problem online with others Samsung owners as well. I contacted Samsung and they sent a repair person. He completely took apart the inside of both the freezer and refrigerator to replace the temperature sensors. Then he replaced the main circuit board. NO DIFFERENCE! You can't get ice cream out of its container without bending a spoon in half! I have a digital thermometer and it frequenly reads -12 to -20. I know the ice maker will cause a drop when on, but after not using any ice for 3 days and having it sitting on -15, I can say this is a defective design. If you want a TV, Samsung is OK, For a refrigerator, Don't do it.

The one problem that I have with the new refrigerator is that Best Buys product description says 35 3/4" inches but it actually is 36" inches.

The refrigerator works pretty good and has solid quality. Be cautious with the delivery process though. As a loyal customer of Best Buy I went exclusively with their product and the accountability of the delivery team was not there. I ended up setting it up instead of waiting for the free delivery and setup.

This fridge comes with a one year warranty. Ours died one year, one week after purchase. Trying to get someone from Samsung for service is like sending light into a black hole, and it turns out the closest authorized service technician is 50 miles away. I've been able to troubleshoot and discovered it's the compressor that's shot already. I had thought that maybe I just received a bad one but a quick google search looks like this model is plagued with failing within one to five years after purchase. I admit that's an error on my part as I was too excited by the sale price I didn't do enough homework before buying. It WAS a nice fridge when it worked...but I'm very frustrated now that one year later I have to fight to either find parts to fix it or start all over and get a new fridge!

We have had this fridge for two years and already replaced the fan motor and woke up this morning to a dead compressor. Never would I purchase this appliance again. Who knew that it would fail within two years. Guess they don't make them like they used to. Or maybe it is just a Samsung.

Was supposed to get another fridge until I found out if was on back order, ended up getting this one because it was able to be shipped in time.... So glad that other fridge couldn't come in.. This one looks so much better and the controls on the outside are something u might see on a fridge twice its price! The LED lights on this inside are great! A must see and buy if you r looking for a great fridge at a reasonable price!

We were going back and forth between the black GE and Samsung. Both under $1,000. Bought the Samsung because it had customer reviews and the GE didn't. Not listening to customer reviews again after this experience. Delivery kinda blew. They give you a 2 hour window and they showed up outside of it. Never called to say they were running late. Now the refrigerator. The light for cubed ice on the display went out after 3 weeks. The icemaker is extremely loud. Made our pets jump when it kicked on. The ice goes everywhere except your cup. Not enough room on the door compartments and interior just seemed cramped. Lets see, what else. The side scratches really easily. Overall, don't waste your money. You'll end up returning it. 30 day return policy is great though. Customer service was excellent also.

Do not Buy if you have kids. The doors ding with the slightest amount of pressure. Scratches appear out of nowhere. The smooth finish is pretty to look at and may be preserved if you do not have kids. Our other refrigerators have never had this problem. Owned two weeks and it looks a mess....

Bought white one about 18 months ago, moved and new house with black appliances, bought a new one, same model in black due to the superior performance from the original. Very good price, excellent quality. Btw the white one is running in the garage for sodas etc. not letting that go anytime soon.

It's really a good set of features for an affordable price. It works smoothly and I have no complains.

Seems to be doing a great job, no problems at all. We had the original Samsung refrigerator with the two bottom side by side drawers and left it in our old house when we sold it. I wish we hadn't but this is a good replacement and we are very happy with it.

I have owned this refridgerator for three years. Junk. The doors sometimes will not close (about 1/8th of an inch). The door chime does not work, since it is very close to closing. Here is the bad part, the coils will freeze and the fridge will not cool all the way. You will have to get it professionally services unless you want to dis assemble the whole insides. This will be the second time I will have to drop about $100 to get it to work properly. Also, very little room in freezer, which again if there is an item sticking out alittle, the door will look closed but will not be. Buy something else. I would question your sanity if you buy this garbage.
