    We have never bought an Open Box item from an outlet store before, but we had to because of this refrigerator's instant availability. That being said, we picked the 'excellent like new' option, assuming it would be as good as new. However, once we brought the open-box refrigerator home, we found out that the water dispenser wasn't working, the light at the dispenser wasn't working, there were several dents on the stainless steel finish, and a shelf in the freezer was missing. That is a whole lot of defects to be categorized under 'excellent' condition. We had to buy the Geek Squad 5-year insurance instead of returning it (which is a huge hassle). The lesson here is DO NOT trust their rating, I doubt they check everything in detail. I will be calling the outlet store to ask for a store credit.

    Fridge wasn’t what I thought it would be cracked up to be. I have a iPhone and a lot of apps and settings the fridge can offer doesn’t even give you an option to have if you have another carry besides Samsung/android it’s a lot of devices that offers other options for different carriers

    The fridge doesn't work good at all. The filtered water keeps getting a bad taste and smell, the ice is always giving us trouble to get out. The screen is good and work well. The sound is ok.

    If you use Amazon Alexa in any capacity - do it elsewhere or do not buy this fridge. Hardware wise, the refrigerator is good - but so are a lot of fridges. We bought this for the screen and Amazon Alexa capability. However, I have to restart the operating system via settings up to 2 or 3 times A DAY because the software just stops working. We have had this fridge for several years now and I 100% wish I would have bought something else. Samsung is phenomenal with hardware but they just can never seem to get software right. I can't even get it to pair correctly with SmartThings and my Galaxy S22 Ultra. Again, great fridge - just save yourself the money and buy one without the screen and software or don't buy Samsung.

    Worst Ice maker I have every owned. Don't do it. All it does is plug up. Freezes and won't let the cubes out. Builds up and you have to remove the bin to free it up. Then when you do that, it's ice all over the floor. On cubes it grinds up the ice as well. Worse piece of sh#$ ice maker that I have ever owned. Hey im 71 and have owned many fridges and ice makers. This one sukks a big one. Don't do it. I've actuall gotten to the point of getting a seperate ice maker. Never, ever again. Fridge doesn't have moveable shelves. 64oz bottles won't fit on a shelf. I ended up buying plastic bins for the freezer to hold things. If I could I would trash it. Don't do it.

    The refrigerator is nice and spacious the only thing I do not like is the icemaker it takes a long time To make ice and it’s enough for maybe four glasses I am going to see if I can exchange it for a different refrigerator with a much much much bigger icemaker this one is just too small

    Missing parts, poor design in places.

    The freeze is missing a shelf. I called customer service and they sent the wrong shelf. I called again and they sent me two additional shelfs. All three were incorrect. The design is not modular at all. (Can’t move shelf’s up or down). The water dispenser has no light. And it is placed in an odd place and I’ve made serval messes.

    Nice looking fridge

    Nice looking appliance. Having a touchscreen refrigerator is convenient and fun to look up recipes and listen to music while cooking. My only issues are the ice maker getting jammed and the crushed ice not dispensing, the 3rd shelf in the freezer was not delivered, and the water dispenser drips.

    Over hiped, bad menus, frustrating

    Navigating is horrible (swipe up to get to the tools screen but you can swipe 20 or 30 times before the screen comes up). There is a setting to make the display go to sleep but samsung broke the function in a 2019 update and it still doesn't work. Constantly logs you out of the samsung connected environment so you have to log back in, then wait before you can use things like the food list.... And even things that might be useful like the recipes based on something in your frig only lets you select a single item so you have to look through a dozen recipes to find one that doesn't require a trip to the store. Wish I had bought a dumb frig.

    Was not happy with this product, the water dispenser has no light and splashes everywhere. We had to sell it not even a year later and get a new one. No space truky for anything to fit

    Cool looking fridge but App connectivity issues

    I purchased this model because of its Smart capabilities. I was unable to connect and sync to the Family Hub App & Smart Things App after multiple attempts even though the router was literally a few feet away. Since its a rental property, I purchased the fridge due to the Smart capabilities for ease of maintenance. I contacted Samsung directly for troubleshooting. The recommended steps I had already attempted many times with no success.

    Wow the only thing wrong with this refrigerator is the ice and water sucks. No light there ice makes a mess when trying to fill a glass

    Filter design not worth it

    The only way to change the filter is to turn off the main house line or move the refrigerator in order to reach the shut off on the water line. I tried replacing the filter without shutting off the water and at least 4 gallons came rushing out before I got the old one pushed back in. Very poor design. The hub is okay but cumbersome to use. It also talks or plays music when it wants to or hears something on TV

    My boyfriend really wanted this fridge because of the screen in the door which is why we got it. If i had the chance to get a different one i would. The fridge side lacks drawers for cold cuts and such and the shevles arent adjustable, so to make it functional for our daily life i had to buy containers. Dont let the technology cloud your judgement.
