I have been wanting this fridge for quite some time but the price has always held me back. After seeing a super good sale during president's day, I decided to pull the trigger. I previously owned a Samsung Fridge with a pull out beverage drawer, so I am comparing this fridge to that. After reading so many of these helpful reviews, I decided the fridge would be a perfect upgrade, however, after owning this for 2-3 weeks now, there are some things I wish I had considered before switching to this fridge. Physical limitations: -Space: This fridge is a side-by-side (freezer on left, fridge on right). My previous fridge was top half fridge and bottom half was pull out freezer. This means now the shelving in both the fridge and freezer are narrow. No more full size pizza boxes in the fridge or large tupperware. -Ice Maker: The ice maker on this is laughable. I usually fill up a 32 oz container full of ice for my coffee and another person in the household fills up a 32 oz container for water and that pretty much depletes the ice bin. We purchased a ice container so we can stockpile ice in the freezer so we have a bit of excess. This is quite frustrating of course, but not sure how many others would run into this problem. -Water Dispenser: The water dispenser has NO light. I think samsung figured that with such a large screen on the fridge, they did not need to add a light to the water dispenser but boy are they wrong. When going to get water at night, you either have to turn on your kitchen lights or use your phone's flashlight to see how much water is in your container. Its truly a hugely missed feature that will be noticed right away when you overfill your water bottles. -Interior Camera: The interior camera can only see like 2, maybe 3 shelves. Im really curious what the point of this feature was. Additionally, when you are not home, your fridge requires the $35 smart dongle so you can view this camera when you are not home. Its a feature I am not going to use anyway so not a big deal. Software limitations: -Family Hub (touch screen): Virtually no apps available. This is running some version of SamsungOS and pretty much the apps on there are all that’s available (no app store). Most apps require you to cast to your fridge from your phone. Part of the reason I got this fridge was so I could control spotify when having gatherings and let my guests queue songs from the fridge. Unfortunately, the version of spotify on the fridge is more like a spotify remote (only allowing you to skip songs forwards/backwards) and only if the fridge itself is playing the music. I want to really stress the fact that the fridge is great. It does everything a fridge is supposed to do, but if you are planning to get this fridge and any of the cons I mentioned are deal breakers, then consider alternative styles. I think in the future, I would get the Samsung family hub fridge that is a top/bottom style and maybe has a bigger ice maker. Hopefully samsung includes lights in these models. Pros: -Touch Screen is pretty cool, not laggy at all. -Perfect fridge for tech enthusiasts -Functions great as a fridge/freezer Cons: -Narrow space in fridge/freezer (all side by sides have this con though) -Ice maker holds laughable amounts of ice -Water/Ice dispenser has no light. Cant see when containers are full without flashlight or overhead kitchen lights. -Very limited apps for fridge Takeaway: Great fridge to get as long as the listed cons are not deal breakers.

I’m so loving my new refrigerator and the space it provides. I have my ring doorbell connected and all my music apps. I literally live in my kitchen. Also, the speaker is very loud and clear. The only problem I have is that it doesn’t show a full camera view of what’s inside, like the commercial displayed. It only shows some of the top shelf and middle and the middle only shows because that’s where the camera is. Other than that, I would have gave it 5 stars ⭐️ Samsung really out done themselves with this one.

We love it so far especially the smart features. But we are returning since the water dispenser is not working (but ice works!). There’s plenty of space inside

We like it very much for the fancy screen it is outdated but we needed a fridge anyways. It will give me recipes for what's in the fridge

Love the features. Cools and freezes very well. Software updates every couple weeks. Some apps don’t perform well. Randomly loses connectivity to the smart things app, must cycle WiFi. Screen sometimes glitches out and must hard reset the tablet.

It is a wonderful refrigerator and very big inside. Fringer prints just wipe off, so easy to keep clean unless you have small children. The only thing I doesn't like is that it produces ice slow and run out quick. Also I can't find games for my grandkids but I'm sure they will figure it out. I love it. Has too many features to list. It took us almost 30 minutes to get it started. Read the manual!!

The speakers sounds wired other that that it does what it’s supposed to do

Spacious, but lacking storage. ( only two bins ) The speaker crackles when listening to music. Refuses to stay connected to the wifi.

I love it but haven’t used for long. Good storage and advance screen where you can also use youtube and all whole home appliances

ordering and delivery was fast and efficient. Difficult to figure out how to use without a written manual. Nice roomy refrigerator. There should be an on screen tutorial that would make navigating easier. Will hopefully love when learn how to navigate screen better

Really nice refrigerator/freezer and we enjoy the tablet on the door. The ice maker is a bit small and does not keep up with a family of four but otherwise great.

It hasn’t been a week since it arrived but so far so good. And it definitely looks nice in my kitchen.

Over all its was great, however I’m missing a piece on my freezer ice maker part.

Product was amazing for the price and all the features it brings. I would recommend this fridge to anyone !

So my fridge broke and was in need of a quick upgrade. I got wonderful help & service from the Westbury location & delivery guys were the best. I'm happy so far with my new fridge, it works, the display reminds of the weather & there is a camera inside so I can avoid doubling up on items I have in stock. I

It’s a nice fridge. The negatives is I wish it had a drawer for lunch meat and to make more ice

Great fridge so far. The only gripe is that the ice maker takes a while but other than that no complaints

It functions as expected; as stated by others the ice is sparse. There was a small dent in the door when delivered. I indicated at that time that I wanted to replace the door. The delivery person submitted the ticket while on premise but I've not heard anything about when the door will be replaced and it's been three weeks. I didn't experience the sound distortion from the speakers when playing spotify but have several other ways to play music so I didn't put the volume on the fridge at full blast. My young adults enjoy watching Youtube for recipes while cooking which is a bonus.

This fridge has a beautiful sleek look to it. It has plenty of storage space. I have been enjoying all the cool features such as viewing the contents of the fridge from the screen display and listening to Pandora music. Everything works as it should. I would have rated this fridge five stars but I removed one for the lack of lighting in the water/ice dispenser. My previous Samsung fridge had this feature and it was great to be able to get some water at night without having to turn on bright lights. They should have included this feature. All in all great fridge!
