    Very disappointed given that this is a Samsung Fridge. The Icemaker constantly freezes over and it got so bad that the ice tray cracked. Luckily I purchased a protection plan. This Fridge has be serviced twice already. First time the fan stopped worked but honestly I can take a wild guess that it is all related to the icemaker problem because the icemaker section just freezes up and creates a whole mess.

    I purchased this a year ago because I wanted a French door design and I could only accommodate a 33" width which this fits perfectly. I love the design, ease of filter changing, large storage space and ease of operation. This fridge keeps everything nice and cold and has been basically trouble free after one year. I only have two cons...my ice maker stopped working after one year but was easily fixed as one ice cube was blocking the entry hole in the bin so cubes could not flow inside. I also hate how easily the stainless steel shows every finger print and it's almost impossible to get rid of streak lines when cleaning. Other than that I can highly recommend this fridge!

    Freezer stopped working

    We have had the fridge for almost 2 years. The freezer no longer keeps things frozen. We have done all of the trouble shooting solutions and nothing worked. I will never buy a Samsung appliance again. People warned me that had them that the dressers stop working. I wish I had listened.

    We’ve had this fridge since Spring 2015 and we are now waiting for our third problem to be resolved. It is a terrible fridge and I will never buy a Samsung appliance again.

    The worst refrigerator ever. I love how it looked but it doesn't work. It has too many recalls and ice build up issues. Because of space issues I have to order another Samsung which I am very unhappy about. This one better work!

    I love this French door refrigerator. Enough room for 4 people family. I love chill drawer except it’s been made cheap, plastic parts become squeaky and stuck sometimes.

    We've had this guy for a week or so and I can only say good things about it. It's attractive, convenient, has a good interior design and the freezer section is quite a relief from our old side-by-side (you can actually SEE things in there!). Pricing on the website surprises me. At the moment (New Year's Day 2016), it's shown as $1994 - but when we bought it (December 2015), it was shown as $1699 (marked down from $2799). Consumer Reports shows it today as $1800. I wouldn't pay more than $1800 for it. And who knows where they got the $2799 figure! Anyway, nice fridge if you can get it for a good price.

    Too Frozen

    First, the biggest con: The icemaker being in the refrigerator compartment causes water to freeze up around the motor in the icemaker. The icemaker will not turn to dispense ice. You cannot even remove the ice bucket as its frozen in the back. To thaw, you have to remove all your food and refrigerate it somewhere else. Then you have to turn it completely off for about 24 hours. The ice melts and makes a mess. You need to dry all that up so it doesn't freeze again. Right now, I'm dumping ice every 24 hours to see how long I can keep it from freezing. My nephew and a niece has one like this and has this same problem.

    For only having the refrigerator for a few days it's great, no more bending over to get stuff out. The smaller width lets it fit where my 20 year old model went. My wife loves the color, I love the filtered water and ice in the door. Now the question is, "is it going to last like my last refrigerators"?

    Buyer Be Aware

    Please be aware of a problem that most Samsung products suffer from. Our three door refrigerator, that is only five years old, had one of its door handles break while trying to open it. The part, which holds the pin that holds the door handle, broke. The plastic part IS NOT REPLACEABLE. That means that if this part breaks, you have to buy another complete door. There is nothing wrong with the door other than this weak plastic part. The plastic part that failed probably costs a buck or two to make and maybe twelve dollars in a store, if it was sold, now costed us $300. It seems that during design and assembly, SAMSUNG has placed a PLASTIC part that is not repairable and the customer is responsible for their mistake. Custom services' response was that there was nothing they could do because my refrigerator was not under warranty. Since my fridge is five years old, a warranty wouldn't have helped anyway. Your concern should be that SAMSUNG's products have these parts in them. If your spending your hard earned money on SAMSUNG products, your depending on the SAMSUNG name and reputation to help its customers out when one of their products has failed. This is a design flaw by SAMSUNG. SAMSUNG should take responsibility for their mistakes.

    Great fridge that meets our needs

    We have been looking for a 3-door fridge that would fit in a really tight spot in our townhome and this is the only one that has great features compared to others including the water/ice dispenser. Love the space inside, special cooling tray, and the freezer is quite spacious. The only complain I have is with the intermittent noise it generates when it's making the ice. It's been 10 months and we love it.

    This refrigerator was delivered 8 days ago and for the most part it's ok, it's nice looking, works well so far, accept for the fact that is built cheaply. Flimsy plastic drawers. The shelves have these plastic pieces that apparently should snap together but don't line up. The doors don't open wide enough to remove or install the pantry drawer without removing the door shelves which is why after a few days of trying to figure out why the drawer won't slide easy or set right , I removed the shelves from the doors and removed the drawer to discover the left side roller mounting had been snapped off. Either by the installers trying to get it in without taking the door shelves off or because it is a piece of cheap plastic and was broken when assembled at the factory. In any case the roller was laying in the back of the drawer compartment. Tried to put it back but waste of time, needs a new drawer, which I bet I'll wind up having to pay for if I keep this poorly built refrigerator. The Whirlpool it replaced was here over 16 years and not one piece of plastic drawer or slide or shelf was ever broken, but that was American. This is my second Samsung purchase in a few weeks and I'm sorry I bought Samsung. So now I have gas range that the burner covers stain when you look at them and won't clean and a refrigerator with a broken drawer, $3,000.00 later. I'm actually thinking of just returning it and buying a quality refrigerator from a better manufacturer like LG. They say never say never but I really don't think I'll ever buy or recommend a Samsung product to anyone I know or meet in years to come, as a matter of fact I would go out of my way to discourage anyone from buying a Samsung appliance. I have purchased LG products that are flawless, foolishly thought Samsung would be good as well, boy was that a mistake.
