After 12 years, it was time to retire our old fridge & upgrade to one that better suited our growing family's needs. This refrigerator has made an excellent replacement. While comparing various brands & styles of refrigerators on Best Buy's website, found this model has one of the largest freezer compartments available, of those offered in this price range. After installation, we've been pleasantly surprised with the amount of convenient storage space available throughout. It's very well lit up inside & even has a door-open chime alerting one if a door has been accidentally left ajar. We are very happy with this purchase & highly recommend it to others.

New fridge is good. Looks sleek and large capacity. Only four stars because the water filter on the outside of fridge doesn't allow you to leave your glass to fill up without you standing there. Not a big deal if your water pressure is fast but it takes a LONG time to fill up for me and I appreciated that option to walk away on my last fridge.

This is a really large refrigerator, wide and tall! Make sure you measure 3 x's. We had to cut out the corner molding to get it to fit. This is my first side by side and I love that I can open both doors and see everything without bending over. There is ample room in the freezer (even pizza boxes) and bottom drawers on both sides. It's like having two fridges with the additional storage on the doors. This is a very quiet fridge except for when ice is dropping. Icemaker/water dispenser is easy to use and doesn't make a mess. Fingerprints wipe off easily with Windex. I don't like the alarms that go off when the door is left open. It's annoying and you can only turn it off for a few minutes and it starts beeping again. Fridge and freezer are at correct temps. When you receive your new fridge, be prepared to spend 30 minutes unwrapping all the tape and protective wrap from outside and inside on every shelf. I gave this a 4 star because I don't like the alarms. Otherwise, it's a really good fridge for a good price.

I originally wanted the counter-depth version of this refrigerator, and would still rather have that, but due to lack of availability I went with the larger model. Outside of being standard depth, it's the same fridge. It works well, it's quiet, the drawers slide in and out easily without sticking. Plenty of storage space on the doors of the fridge and freezer. You can't adjust the shelves on the doors, which is a bit of a drawback, but not a dealbreaker. The dispensed water is cold (not all refrigerators accomplish this) and the ice dispenser works well for both cubed and crushed. One feature I enjoy with this refrigerator is the handles. I really like that the handles are on the underside of the door rather than sticking out in front of it. Being fingerprint resistant is also a huge plus. It just seems to stay cleaner longer. All in all, a very affordable and efficient refrigerator. I would definitely buy again.

Best fridge on the market before you decide to buy Subzero products. The ice maker on this model does not have the same issues as the other Samsung models. We chose not to get the version with the touch screen because we prefer the space. You can put a full gallon of milk just on the doors. It’s huge... however because there’s no handles, the look is very modern and sleek; saves a lot of space. "Beautiful," is the word I get from family and friends. The ice/water/crushed sticks out a little bit, thus really narrow cups may miss the nozzle that pours, just be mindful. Regular cups are fine, no issues. You can’t adjust the shelves, but I can assure you everything tall fits except for anything as tall as champagne bottles. In addition, the ice and crushed ice are perfect sizes. This model makes ice quick for 5 quests. Even though it says, "no finger prints," greasy fingers aren’t immune. However extremely easy to wipe with just a damp cloth. I’ve researched hundreds of refrigerators, LG has motor problems, whirlpool has quality issues, fridgaire is loud... Samsung has ice issues. Of all the issues I picked ice issues, however THIS MODEL has a different ice machine therefore the speed and quality of ice is above average compared to other Samsung models. I did my research, trust me when I say this... This is the best fridge right now on the market for this price. It’s 27 cu that's ALOT... I’m loving the space I have for food.

I've had this for almost a year and feel pretty comfortable reviewing it. We replaced a work horse 17 year old Frigidaire that was failing with this one, and honestly I miss the old one. It had better features for around the same amount of money. Best Buy was supposed to deliver it, but the Covid lockdown in my state happened about 3 days before, so we had to figure out an alternative delivery method (begging a friend with a trailer to pick it up) It has fair amount of space, but doesn't have a "deli" drawer, which makes organization hard. It has a nice sleek modern look which I really like. The spill guards on the shelves are very brittle and we already broken one. Samsung was responsive but sent us the wrong part. It holds good temperatures in the freezer and refrig. Ice maker is terrible. Hardly enough ice for a family of 3. It is slow to make new ice. Every month or so it just stops working and we have to reset it. Overall I'm not happy with it at all. We would return it and purchase a different one if we could (even for a higher price to get what we need), but these problems and issues have developed over the last 9 months.

I had my garage refrigerator and home refrigerator stop working at the same time. During this time of the COVID virus I was having a very difficult time finding any stores that had refrigerators in stock. I was thrilled with Best Buy when I found they had the refrigerator I wanted in stock and could get it delivered and installed in my home within 10 days. It is a large 27.4 cu ft side by side and I love the lay out and how much I can store in it. I do not plan on replacing my garage refrigerator. It is well lit to see everything in the refrigerator and freezer. I do not find that the ice maker makes too much noise as some people mentioned. I like the modern look of my new refrigerator / freezer. I did have to get it in stainless steel.. I really wanted one in white but .. I am very happy with it. I have owned this appliance now for 3 weeks.

I've had this refrigerator for about 3 weeks now and have nothing bad to say about it. Seems to be very well constructed and functions flawlessly. The LED interior lighting is great and the gallon sizr large door bins are perfect. The digital readout for the fridge and freezer temp is s nice added touch. Very spacious fridge and freezer compartments and the ice maker in the door is one of the things that sold me as well as being a smooth front with no handles. My only complaint is it is advertised as smudge proof, won't show fingerprints...... Well that's not the case but it does not take but a second to wipe it down and to be honest if that's my only complaint then we are doing good. Overall this is a great fridge and i would recommend to anyone looking for a large capacity size by side.

Great fridge, spacious and maintains temperatures well. Stainless is easy to clean. The only issue I have had is it takes a long time to flush all of the water lines for the ice maker before it is actually clean.

Looks good and fits nicely. Low noise and temperature control is perfect.

The Samsung Side-by-Side Refrigerator is perfect for my everyday use at home. The Positives: -Nice looking -Large Capacity/Space -Coolness distribution Some Negatives: -Very light small dimple on front door. Unable to confirm if the product sustained it prior or during installation. Nevertheless, Best Buy made it right and I still feel great about my purchase. -Small Ice Maker Bin Capacity: This is still ideal for me. If I need extra ice I store in ice bags and keep in freezer. -Small Ice Cubes: This is still ideal for me. I personally want small ice cubes but this is a personal preference.

This is a great refrigerator. It’s spacious, and keeps all items cold as intended. Looks good from the outside making it a nice fit in our kitchen.

This is a really large refrigerator, it looks nice in our space. I like the ice maker in the door and not taking up freezer space like my old one did. I love how I can lock the water and ice dispenser when I leave home or if I just don’t want anyone working it without me being present. It looks beautiful in my space and holds s lot of food. I haven’t removed the protective plastic from the front yet so I don’t know how well the fingerprint resistant feature works. The manual states not to place anything on the top or put magnets on the front so I stored my cereal boxes in the pantry.

I love this frig, its very nice. I want speak to some of the negatives in the reviews. The refrigerator shelves are not adjustable but I think they're set up perfect. The first 2 shelves will fit milk, the door will fit milk and 2 liter sodas. Lots of apace. It doesnt have a deli drawer, i bought 2 from amazon,theyre stackable and fit on 3rd shelf perfect. If you go that route get the ones that have little rubber feet, it keeps them from sliding. Its quite, i never hear it. The ice compartment is a little small but fine for me. There is a lot foom in the freezer with the ice in the door. Im hppy with my purchase.

Have this fridge over a year and a half at this point. Has been running great so far with no issues at all. Love the overall size and internal storage. It does keep things very cold and the very back of the bottom shelf seems to freeze any liquids. Had to bump up the temp by a degree from the defaults. The option to get crushed ice is a nice convenience. Only minor gripe I have that I wish I noticed before buying is that the shelves cannot be adjusted at different levels. A few times we had to put a 2-tier cake or something similar, we've had to remove a shelf completely.

But the fridge is HUGE! I love how much capacity this fridge has, both in the freezer and fridge sections. This was only 3-4 more square feet compared to my older fridge (the ice machine broke which is why I had to upgrade) but the space that creates inside this is great. We have yet to fill it up with three people living in the household. My only complaint is that the ice machine doesn't seem to replace the ice very quickly after usage. So towards the end of the day the ice can be low. That could be better.

First, I love the refrigerator. It’s design, capacity, and aesthetics make for a great appliance in any style kitchen. The bad news, the water dispenser mechanism on the freezer door does not work. Samsung sent contractors to the house and they can’t decide if it’s the whole freezer door or just the dispenser itself. I purchased roughly five weeks ago and it’s still not fixed. In addition, one of the plastic door shelf organizers was missing at delivery. I have total tech and after two calls it’s still not corrected. If everything was perfect at time of delivery and install this would be a 5 star review.
