Now the ice maker itself: it's absolutely the slowest I've maker out there. Approx. one set of cubes per day, if that. Then there's the issue that the ice repeatedly blocks up. After every single use I have to pull the ice tray out, first out the chute then sweap up all the ice that falls to the floor. It's a major pain in the backside. The freezer and refrigerator are ok but really small and not much lighting. I feeli paid too much for a unit with do many problems, it's really not worth it. Do a little research, read these comments and go by the ratings. DON'T PURCHASE THIS UNIT, you'll thank me later.

The ice maker is capable of making 10 pounds of ice a day, it's only capable of holding 2 pounds of ice at a time. Once the ice bucket is full, the ice maker will stop.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unfortunately I believe I got the Lemon and since May Im still waiting for what was a brand new refrigerators freezer door to be installed that works, we are on door number 4 and I'm also confused by the purchase of the geek squad extended warranty when I called from the beginning of this nightmare to be told they don't have any refrigerator repair techs in my area and referred me to Samsung so why did I pay for the extended warranty. So I'm being told that the reason my ice maker is not working is because not enough insulation was put in the door so the water line to the ice maker is not distributing water to the tray. So beware if it stops making ice this may be the issue
