The ice maker kept freezing big lump of ice, the icemaker froze over could not remove from door to dump had to pour hot water in to release was a hot mess. Did not like the sensitivity of the water dispenser seem like it would leak water if you passed by it. Tried the lock mechanism still spilled water when not in use...in the end just exchanged for a different model fridge

Replacement for Samsung 27.4 Cu. Ft.

The Black did not go well with our decor so we opted for the exchange without any issues.

Decided to get this Samsung refrigerator. So far almost 2 weeks in and no problems. Lots of shelve space. The shelves are very deep.

Has a few bells and whistles not sure will ever use, but is nice refrigerator. Reaching to side of door to open versus grabbing handle has been biggest habit to break.

Wish it had an extra smaller drawer though in the frig section

Posted .Hi there Icedrop, I see that you have concerns with your Ice Maker in your Samsung Refrigerator taking a longer time than expected to dispense Iceland know that can be irritating. Ice typically takes between 2-5 seconds to dispense from the ice dispenser. This is normal. The time it takes for ice to dispense depends on a few variables, including the following:
How far back in the bucket the ice is.
The amount of ice in the ice bucket.
Whether cubed or crushed ice is selected.
Crushed ice may take slightly longer to dispense due to the time it takes for the gears in the ice bucket to crush the cubed ice.
