So far so good with this refrigerator which replaced an 18yo Whirlpool that never gave us any problems. Temps seem consistent in the refrigerator and lots of extra capacity for us. Only complaint on the fridge side is lack of a drawer, which has been solved fairly easily with an aftermarket option. Freezer.side occasionally has some frost on the shelves but never any buildup or anything, assume that’s normal. Only complaint might be ice production…seems like it’s barely keeping up with 3 adults in the household…but it’s keeping up so I won’t ding it any stars for that. Let’s hope for 18 years out of this one (haha not likely).

Fridge for food. Keeps cold. Makes water and ice. Lots of space. Fits over 100 packages of Trader Joe's Kimbap.

It is very spacious and acts just like a fridge/freezer combo. That's why I give it three starts. Here's why I deducted two stars: - The shelves can not be moved up or down. They are stationary. It really sucks because I could create more space if I was able to move the shelves around. Oh well, nonetheless there is tons of space. - There is no light on the water/ice dispenser. How dumb, I mean how expensive is that really? A ight should be standard, even on models that are on the low end of the spectrum. - Here's the biggest reason I am deducting stars and even writing this review in the first place: my ice dispenser stopped dispensing ice after 15 months, and the fridge is now out of warranty. Good thing I bought a Geek Squad plan with this. The ice maker will work if I take the cover off and use the 'test' button to force is to flip over, empty the ice and then refill but it won't do it automatically. Look all in all, its a spacious and cold fridge/freezer. I like it but certainly don't love it or want to rave about it. I've been buying Samsung products strictly for about 12 years now and have watched the quality of their products decline over the years. I just bought a CGR5 gaming monitor that TBH, sucks. The cameras on my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and absolute crap. Samsung has just lost it. They don't really care anymore. They care more about profits than customer satisfaction. Show me a Samsung product that is not almost entirely made up of cheap plastic, and I bet you can't. Even their highest teir most expensive products will be full of plastic... Anyway, again, its a fine fridge but could be better. I don't regret my purchase but the next time I need a fridge, I will look at other brands before buying.

Our LG fridge blew a compressor recently, so we picked up this Samsung model. Pros: - Space. There's plenty of space in both the refrigerator and freezer compartments. Both are well-lit by LED lighting. The upper produce compartment is topped by a glass shelf, so (until we start filling that shelf) we can see everything in that compartment. Plenty of door space for milk, drinks, sauces, etc. - Large water/ice dispenser. Our previous fridge's water/ice dispenser was short, requiring me to tilt large glasses and press the switch with my finger to dispense. This fridge accommodates our largest cups. - Stainless steel finish. The finish really is fingerprint-resistent! Old fridge would show prints if you looked at it funny. - No protruding handles. Old fridge had handles that jutted out 2-3" from the front surface of the fridge; this fridge has recessed finger grips in the center and top door edges for pulling the doors open. - Temperature display. When first plugging in the unit, the temperature display inside the fridge shows the actual temperatures of the fridge and freezer compartments as it cools. - Icemaker in door. This saves a lot of space in the freezer compartment for groceries. Cons: - Protective plastic coating. Like most high-end appliances, this unit came with a protective plastic wrap covering the stainless steel doors. Manufacturing apparently wrapped the outer door shells in the plastic, then attach the shells to the doors, because the plastic is tightly wedged into the seams, leaving little plastic tufts surrounding the doors. I'm still trying to pull them out. - Water dispenser buttons. The 3 dispenser buttons (water, cubed ice, crushed ice) seem to be capacitive touch buttons. Today I was desperately trying to switch to water, but my presses wouldn't register. Later on it seemed fine. - Dispenser lag. Dispensing ice incurs a ~2.5 second lag from the time you actuate the switch with your glass to the time the dispenser motor activates. Minor annoyance. - Crushed ice dispensing. I tried dispensing crushed ice today, and it seemed to shoot everywhere! Maybe I didn't hold my cup close enough to the dispenser opening. - No dispenser drip tray. This refrigerator has a recessed cavity to catch spilled water/ice. Our last refrigerator had a removable tray. Not a huge deal, but I've been using more paper towels with this fridge.

It's a beautiful Refrigerator, quite, spacious inside and well thought out as far as styling. I am very happy with my choice.

It’s a good size refrigerator with lots of space and great design. My only small issue is the cube ice, sometimes it comes out as crushed ice instead of ice cubes.

Disappointing that Samsung got cheap on this fridge to save a little and instead of having a great fridge this is mediocre. It is very quite, we don't hear it from 15 ft away from the couch except when the ice drops, size is nice but the pros stop here. No led light at the water dispenser so if you are n the dark good luck filling up your glass of water, the all in one water/ice dispenser is kind of annoying, takes wasted time to press each time to get ice and then water, why not just have the separate like in older models. In the fridge there is only one strip of led lights on the top so from the middle to the bottom the fridge is very dark, you can hardly see anything, I can't believe Samsung didn't put some LEDs on the wall midway to make this fridge great. Also this fridge is missing a drawer for cold cuts, how much a drawer can cost Samsung? Instead of providing these features to make this fridge great Samsung went the cheap route to save few bucks. Very disappointing!

I was in a huge hurry picking out a refrigerator since mine decided to go out and I was without a refrigerator for a few days. I did like how this refrigerator looked very sleek, with a lot of room. I really wish I would have looked at the bottom drawer better that I used to store the meats and cheeses, that is where the water filter is located and it takes up quite a bit of room in the drawer cutting it down by at least a quarter. I didn't notice that right away in the pictures and I wish I had. After hooking up the water and getting the ice set, I noticed the spout would drip water here and there. There is also no tray to catch any fallen water or ice, so I see me having to wipe up that area quite often with my little one. Overall I do love the storage and the refrigerator drawer.

I replaced my 10 year old Samsung refrigerator with this newer model. The ice dispenser gave up in the old model and the technician was asking $550 to replace that. So it made plenty of sense to rather buy a new one. Samsung folks have tried to improve the ice dispenser by eliminating the flimsy flapper, but the new design still is glitchy and drops ice to the floor. Otherwise, its a great refrigerator with plenty of space and cool lighting. Quiet as well. I’ll buy it for the price and space.

Great quality and sleek look. Alot of storage and great ice maker

My not so old whirlpool fridge just slowly failed and something had to be done immediately. Couldn’t fix it and wouldn’t spend half of a new one so went to Best Buy and bought a new Samsung double door fridge for a great price and it is great it’s silent and works perfectly. Samsung and Best Buy are very dependable it’s beautiful in our nice kitchen and will always go to Best Buy and buy Samsung

Excellent storage space in the refrigerator although the freezer it would be nice if it had baskets to hold all frozen items instead of shelves where everything slides around and the icemaker is very Small and when it dispenses cubes you will not get whole cubes it's a mix of cubes and shards of ice. But it does cool very well on the fast cool settings and it has the most room in a refrigerator that I've seen compared to my oldone

1st of all, none of the features were explained to us when we bought this. Partially our fault and mostly the salesman, who was only an order taker and did not sell. The fridge works great and has more space than we know what to do with. Makes ice quickly and the fridge area is very cold. What we didn't realize is there isn't a light by the water/ice dispenser. Make a big difference when it's dark. Also, there isn't a butter dish. May seem like a little thing, but when you have had one forever, it makes a difference.

While I haven't had this refrigerator long, I love it thus far. I was a bit leery of Samsung for appliances but this refrigerator has served me well. I love the spacing in it, the features that enable easy setting of temperatures and also the warning bell if the refrigerator or freezer door has been left open for an extended period. Great icemaker and water dispenser and it was easy for the team to install. Having the inner handles means less chances for fingerprints everywhere and it's been easy to clean.

We love the refrigerator even though it is an open box everything works well. It is a beautiful color and very sleek. There is lots of space for everything. The only thing I would change would be for the ice machine to be a little bigger, sometimes we run out of ice when using it. Great refrigerator!

We have truly been enjoying our refrigerator. We have so much room until we don't store as much in our deep freezer. It is so quiet and easy to clean. The freezer holds a lot of items, and it is truly deep. We also love the black stainless steel and no handles. A great Buy!

I this is the second time that I purchased appliances from Best Buy. They always deliver within days. My new stainless steel refrigerator is great. It is wide and the compartments are very spacious. It is easy to clean. The ice maker is very quiet. I have it at a low temperature and it keeps good fresh.

So far we love our new Samsung fridge. It looks great, is super quiet and has a ton of room inside. The door shelves on the fridge side are massive. We used to struggle with fitting condiments in the door, but now we have acres of room to spare. We do miss the cheese drawer, that is a small sacrifice to make. The freezer is spacious and since the ice maker unit is all built into the door, no shelf space is lost to the ice maker!
