From the minute we first had this refrigerator installed, it was freezing our food on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator and had the food in the freezer covered in ice crystals (from melting and then refreezing). We called in a technician, and we were told that a plate in the back wasn't pushed in correctly. It continued to have the same problem, so we adapted to not keeping food on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. On April 4th of 2024, this two-year-old refrigerator completely stopped working. We lost everything. We had purchased the Geek Squad Protection Plan, but it only covered $300 in losses. We had pet medication (insulin) that was $100, and meat that far exceeded this compensation amount. It took them two weeks to fix the refrigerator after they handed us over to Samsung for the repairs. Best Buy doesn't service this refrigerator. Samsung misdiagnosed the issue and after three service people were sent out, they finally determined that the lines had frozen and the motor for the fan had burned out. I have since learned that this is an extremely common problem. My husband has cardiac issues and being without a refrigerator for two-weeks wasn't as simple as going out to eat. The entire situation was extremely stressful, and I would not recommend that anyone purchase any SAMSUNG refrigerator or do business with Best Buy!
