If only the icemaker was better...

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the 4 compartment concept but the leaking icemaker is such a pain it makes the fact the kids have a little firdge on the bottom not as cool of a feature since we tend not to have ice and have water rips inside the fridge since the icemaker leaks. they have a new model with icemaker in freezer area only - likely because the icemaker in this model and many others has known defacts that leaks, feeze over and other issues...

Love it but...

It's probably great if you have the certain need for the flex zones, but i did not.

Make sure that you have a hair dryer

I've have my icemaker replaced or serviced at least 7 times in 2 years and they refuse to leave any paper work. Now they are offering to take it away and give my a 50% off coupon for another piece of garbage. Be warned.

Freezer stop working after 8 months

It takes 3 days for Samsung tech to come out to fix the issue; this is too long. All my frozen food is now ruin and I have to throw it away.

DO NOT BUY - Ice maker replaced 4 times in 1 year

After 2 years the ice maker froze up and had to be replaced. Now it does it every 3-4 months. I had seen a few reviews mention this so I figured I would get a Geek Squad plan just in case. After being replaced 3 times and still freezing up, Best Buy refuses to see that this is a larger issue than just a faulty ice maker. They just offer to have the ice maker replaced so the cycle can continue. Samsung and Best Buy refuse to accept that this is defective product and continue to sell them. Do yourself a favor and stay away unless ice maker is not important or you are ok with replacing refrigerator as soon as warranty is up.

AVOID Samsung products. Quality is no longer with this company. They are replacing the crappy ice makers for many models. However they are breaking over an over. Please avoid Samsung.

Ice Maker frosts over every 2-4 weeks

There is a class action lawsuit currently for this issue.
