    I do not recommend buying this Refrigerator. If I can return it I would I brought this refrigerator 8 months ago and been having problems with it ever month . The Ice maker has a really bad defect with the I’m constantly calling samsung about the warranty they are very friendly and send tech out but I only have a couple more months and I don’t know what I’m going to do this refrigerator is not the worth the money . beautifully design but very poor quality.

    Defective Ice Maker

    Not only for this particular model, but generally all French Door Samsung Refrigerators have defective ice maker. Mine stops making ice after 16 months of purchase. You will find tons of videos discussing the defective ice maker of Samsung Refrigerator. There was even class lawsuit against Samsung, but Samsung doesn't really care since it has enough money to settle the lawsuit. Anyone who wants to buy Samsung Refrigerator just be aware!

    Worse purchase ever

    This ref is made to last 5 yrs. Warranty details are hidden. Mine refer broker down and just to come and check unpaid $140 usd just for telling me I need to buy a new one.

    Defect

    This model has a defect. The ice maker freezes and you have to use blow dryer to melt it so the ice can work. Let the Best Buy feel squad told me to the blow dryer. For the price I paid what a rip off.

    Refrigerator would not stay cold and the freezer would not always freeze. After 7 years of ownership both the refrigerator and freezer went out.

    Have had service called 3 times, now down again. Wont hold freon.

Ft. 4-Door Flex French Door Fingerprint Resistant Refrigerator with Food ShowCase not holding freon or not cooling. On behalf of Samsung, we apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. Please know that this is not the experience we want you to have, and we will continue to work on improving the quality of the products we offer.

      Freon usually travels through closed copper coils in an AC/ Fridge unit, but these coils can crack and result in an AC/ Fridge coolant leak. A freon leak will produce a smell between sweet and chloroform. Over-charging the freon on the system can also render the appliance not working properly.

    Buyer Beware

    Refrigerator part works fine. Looks great. However, the Ice-Maker has broken repeatedly and been replaced 3 times. Per the repair guys, it will freeze up on you too. 10/10 will not recommend.

    Don't buy a Samsung appliance.

    They don't last long enough for the amount paid. Don't buy a Samsung fridge. Or any appliance by them. My MIL bought one and a year or two later we did as well. Her ice maker went out, soon after ours did as well. Of course after warranty expired. She had it replaced on her dime twice by Samsung certified repair techs. No easy way to repair yourself or any work arounds to avoid this. Bought my Samsung oven in 2019 after my brother had one for a year. Their electronic panel melted sometime after I bought mine and now all mine does is show scrambled moving numbers constantly since 2021. Terrible appliances!!!

    Great Initially But Died After 6 Years

    I loved this fridge for the 6 years I had it, but then the freezer stopped working. It will probably cost over $1,000 to fix it. If it had been the compressor, which has a 10 year warranty, it would have been okay. However, it is something else. One would think that the high price would entail it lasting a long time. I will never buy Samsung again.
