    Samsung has serious issues with their Ice Makers. After having two repairs on the ice maker in this unit, it failed and leaked water on our floors overnight causing $10,000 worth of damage to our floors. Samsung, even though they knew it was defective, refused to step and and handle the repairs. Went through my home owners insurance and my insurance went after Samsung for the full cost and won. I got my deductible back and ultimately Samsung had to pay to replace my floors. DO NOT BUY FROM SAMSUNG.

    This is now a known issue for many Samsung french door refrigeratiors with through the door ice makers. Water leaks all over inside the ice maker and freezes, preventing the production of ice.
