Poor ice machine design

With the ice in the same bay as the fridge it constantly frosts up and jams. Even after a new seal on the ice machine was installed it frosted over in about a month. Samsung ended up refunding our money after two failed attempts to repair under warranty.

Ice maker broke 2 times. Right door bins started to sag. Was able to swap it out but had to purchase lower style and also pay difference out of pocket. Now my refrigerator does not match stove and micro. Not happy!!

It looks nice but the ice maker doesn't work and the evaporations panel has gone out twice since I owned it

Just love it.. Same day my refrigerator was delivered i notice that there is NEW PROMOTIONAL PRICE on that refrigerator i purchased 15 days ago and its $200 less that i paid at the time ($2199+tax) .. Politely i called Best Buy Customer Service and ask if we can do anything about it ($200 for new home owners its loots of money) .. they said nothing can be done because price match its good for 14 days, not 15 days, nobody cares when refrigerator was delivered, but when i paid for it... !!!! so basically i over pay for fridge $200 because silly 14 days rule..

I believe there is a class action lawsuit with Samsung over the ice maker. It stops making ice. Like weekly one must defrost because water drips everywhere.

The shelves are adjustable and the pass through door is more convenient than you realize. The deli box is also adjustable and has a device to keep things from spilling around but doesn't lock you into a size. The freezer has good proportions again, and the top shelf can conveniently hold an ice cream container standing up. There is even a frozen juice sized shelf at the front. I really have no complaints about the look, layout, and size of the fridge. Everything is also very adjustable. Cons: I find newer fridges, in general, to be noisier than old ones. That said, it isn't loud by any means. Its just more noticeable when you're standing right in front of it and it turns the compressor on. Another con would be that the icemaker is located in the fridge instead of the door like LG brands. I don't prefer this. Overall, I would buy this unit again. We got a great Black Friday deal and love the look of the black stainless.
