Not even two years after purchase, the ice maker stopped working. We then saw what a piece of junk this fridge is. Do not buy!!

Having ice & water ready is awesome & the lights..

Ice maker continually freezes up and is very difficult to defrost manually. It’s a known problem with this model - Google it. Avoid at all costs. (Apart from that, it’s a great fridge)

We finally found the right side for our family needs.

I purchased this in 2017 and have ha it repaired 6 times for the icemaker not working properly. Do not buy this refrigerator unless you want to constantly have a technician out.

OVERALL GOOD, small ice maker but big space inside

We had narrowed our search for a refrigerator to Whirlpool or Samsung. Unfortunately, we chose this Samsung model based on the recommendation of the salesperson. For the first year the refrigerator was fine, but then the ice maker began freezing up. We've had two repair visits, one for the unit being replaced and the second they sealed the compartment and reduced the water pressure. As of this writing, I have to thaw the entire inside of the ice maker monthly. If you read this review, check for class action lawsuit pending for a variety of related ice maker issues. My recommendation is to look for a different brand.

Would not recommend this fridge. Several separate issues with ice maker causing for multiple repairs. Also issue with broken hinge on door.

Beware of ice maker, Ice maker will get ice left in door slot and leak all over floor if you don’t make sure all is out. Ruined our flooring in front of fridge as it leaked out over night.

Buyers remorse here. The ice make is unreliable. Have had it serviced twice which has included complete replace both times. The last repair has us without ice for 3 weeks

I love my fridge! The ice maker is junk! I have had them switch my fridge out and then came out 6 months later changed the ice maker on the new fridge and here we are 3 months later and it is freezing up and not working again!

Purchased in 2015. We have been struggling with a reoccurring loud noise from this fridge. When the door opens, the noise stops. Apparently is the evaporator fan. We have done force defrosts as well as unplugging the fridge for a complete defrost. The noise keeps returning. Finally got a repair man out and he needs to replace the panel, drain and sensor for $600. The ice maker continually freezes too. BUYER BEWARE. No more Samsung appliances for me (I had to get the matching dishwasher repaired last year as well).

I brought this product in 2017 the Best Buy’s Greek to install my water line for me. They didn’t do the good job my water line being leaking . I don’t get much ice and water on my refrigerator. I call them they very badly services. I do not recommended for this product. I Have a lot the problem for this refrigerator since I have. The Best Buy’s people want me to pay the service if want them to come out to look this problem. I brought 5 years warranty for this product. They install water the line incorrectly.

I strongly advise purchasing this refrigerator. Ice making issue after one year of average usage. Ice maker completely none useable at this point.

The refrigerator seems to work ok but the ice make has to be manually defrosted with a hair blower every month or so. It has been replaced twice from Best Buy Geek Squad with the same results.

This fridge is only for looks, it is not recommended. Freezer keeps messing up my food. Geek squad came out here and said it's working properly but food is thawed again.

Ice maker defective, class action lawsuit, stay away, no fix in sight....

I bought the fridge, dishwasher and microwave set. I have always liked Samsung but this purchase was a huge mistake! I have had nothing but problems with the fridge and dishwasher. The dishwasher is crap and smells bad no matter what I do to keep it aired out. The ice maker on the fridge started out leaking, freezing and now it doesn't work. The handles are loose and they can no longer be tightened. I would not recommend buying any Samsung appliances. There is no recall for these issues but the are an ongoing issue with the appliances.
